Bro this is the most artistic geo node video I have ever seen.
Such a great video.
The graphics, the narration, the educational value.... Just superb.
The way of the noodle is the way of life indeed.
The noodle will guide you. Always
this gives me Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy vibe! Can wait to have cloth node(s), so I can procedurally model the towel I leave without! Or rig a depressed paranoid robot from geometry nodes! Or even better: Randomly generate strings of Vogon poesy! Damn, I hoped I could find 42 examples, but not to avail. so I'll say, so long, and thanks for all the nodes!
“The ships hung in the sky in much the same way that bricks don't” is quite possibly the greatest sentence in the english language ...
Came for the knowledge, stayed for the jokes
Ha. My job here is done
@@harryblendsLegit my made me laugh the entire way through. Nicely done.
😂 exactly
Not sure which was more impressive the script or the animation. Kudos, an excellent addition to the pantheon of Blender's educators. I'll be back for more 😅
This is amazing. I'd re-learn Blender all over again with a series like this. Thank you so much for making it!
Instant subscribe.
Thank you Pablo! I can’t tell you how much your Blender Today LIVE streams opened up the possibilities of the software for me. I’m already watching the 4.2 release notes grow and plotting the next one of these …

So good! Amazing presentation
Thank you! Big fan
@@harryblends see? even the horse whisperer approves
This channel is so underrated ❤, keep up the great work!
Thank you. I’m paddling as fast as I can
"the way of the noodle is a way of life" thats my new mantra
I think we might need merch …
That ending somehow made me feel inspired, and proud, of a group of nodes...
You didn't have to listen to their speeches though...
The production value is just through the roof.
Great job and thank you!
Thank you! My secret is that I don’t have a roof.
these videos are amazing. Blender should make you the head of their update and education section. It's a rare skill to make taking about nodes fascinating AF
Thank you. I think it’s the possibilities that I find fascinating af (aka FAF)
I can't tell you how much I wish you made *every* Blender tutorial ! Absolutely fabulous (flawless!) presentation.
And love, love LOVE the humour :D
Thank you. Though if I made every blender tutorial I'd be so tired by now I'd most probably be dead ...
Prime ❤
Thank you. Your geonode book is winking at me from my shelf. So yeah. Neato 😁
wtf this is a seriously amazing channel. literal 10/10 video, the writing, the editing, the knowledge, everything is top tier. subbed and super excited for more.
I was trying amazingly serious but it didn't work
Most fun tutorials for the Geometry Nodes I have ever seen! Thank You!
Thank you!
This should be on he official Blender channel, I loved every second of it. Nice job!
Thank you :)
whole video feels like a hollywood movie intro narration , so good
Came here to double-check that the active camera node works the way I thought, and found a solution to a whole other problem in the project in the index switch node. Thanks for making these as great as they are.
Came for the active camera node, stayed for the index switch. This is the kind of viewer testimonial I live for. Thank you
And the flawless and fun blender video style award goes to....
Watched the video to learn about geo nodes. Had too much fun instead. Now have to watch again and really focus on node stuff 😂 This goes to all your videos. You are the “This old Tony” of the Blender realm 👌 One can learn so much while having real fun. Thank you!
Great video! You worked hard on all those jokes - well done😂
Thank you! 🙏
Wonderful! Please keep making these, I had a right good chuckle with my morning coffee - and it was informative to boot!
Thanks. I admire someone who wakes up and watches nodes for breakfast.
@@harryblends You should see what I do for lunch
@@larsjaakko Dying to find out.
@@harryblends I mean, noodles for breakfast - not that weird, huh?
Cannot sleep without watching your videos. Even cant do something. So addicted of your channel
This video was recommend after I watched a video about the bake node, which I didnt know till 1hour ago, and googled baking geometry nodes.
I was curios which other helpful nodes I missed, clicked on this video and subscribed 6:50 min later^^ Nicely done.
Great video, informative, smooth and informative animation, and just enough humor. Top notch man.
Thank you. I've been just enough my entire life
This was genuinely funny. Please make more XD
i loved this video so much!!!
Thank you! I love your work :)
Very creative approach for the video explanation! Brilliant!
excellent explanation. Thank You!
So beautifully animated and explained
These animations are crazy clean
Super amazing production. Your videos deserve Oscar for easiest manner of teaching.❤
Thank you. But I think we all know that Robin Williams would win the Oscar for teaching
I imagine the active camera node taking Blender a step further to becoming a game engine without any addons XD
This is really nice!!!
I am so happy that Monty Python has found a home in the Blender community. These new nodes will not get shagged out while pining the fjords.
Just don’t eat the salmon mousse
This was amazing!
Sub well earned.
This was brilliant and damn hilarious, thanks and subcribed.
nice presentation in informative way ,think one of the best I saw about blender .
excellent video !
I love Geometry Nodes and this video which you created like a movie
Love your style of editing your videos! Must be a lot of work...
Absolutely fantastic video once again. Thanks for this
Thank you for your continued custom!
Fantastic work!
Thank you! I've just discovered your Optimizing Blender series. Life lines I tell you. Actual blender cheat codes!
Nice edition
This video is about Blender but through its unique narration, it feels like playing Stanley Parable.
Nice ! Thanks for covering this straight to the point
Thank you!
Man, your videos are really good. I love the content
Thanks!
Your humor is unmatched🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That video and storytelling is so awesome that I want to cry from joy
Let them happy tears flow ☺️

What a highly polished, informative piece of entertainment.
Thank you Nathan. Those are all the goals
Dude - Such fantastic production! Earned my sub! If you are taking requests, could you do a video showing how you put this video together? I'd love to be able to do this myself.
nice work on the video
Thank you!
@@harryblends you welcome
greate video dude. Wasn't expecting such an funny MF blender intro... Like it
Topnotch production.
!!! COOL !!!
wow; just wow!!!!!
thanks!!!!!
Wow, Index Switch update
The best of all possible switches. An actual game changer!
I laughed and learned, good combo.
"live, laugh and learn" they say. I don't know who "they" are but they say it anyway
This is legit the best Blender channel I have ever seen and you don't even have 2.5k subs.
Thank you! ... and I do now...
@@harryblends Hmm. Uh. I know! "This is legit the best Blender channel I have ever seen and you don't even have 10k subs."
Yet another great high-production video from a still underrated channel. This comment brought to you by an attempt to feed the algorithm
May the algorithm appreciate your great gifts
Wonderful video. I have a stupid question. I'm not going to ask to ask, I'm just going to jump right in, right after this long explanatory introductory sentence.
How are you "extruding" the reroute nodes like that? Are you duplicating the reroute node, connecting it, moving it over the first one, and then just snipping that out in the magic of editing? because if it's a keystroke, I would like to also it.
Thank you. There’s a bunch of tricks I’m using to get the nodes to move the way I want in all of my videos. It’s mostly editing. I tried doing precise step by step capture with my first few videos but I found it limited the rhythm (you don’t have to explain *everything*, actually if you do it’s deadly) and I find the key to conveying this kind of information is momentum. So the node moves in these video are not actual gameplay footage as it were. But it’s all captured in blender, with a ton of planning and a little bit of waking up in the middle of the night screaming.
@@harryblends Makes sense. As someone who makes tutorial videos too, I laud both your dedication to the craft and your success at execution -- and of course your ownership of what's clearly the world's 2048k monitor. If I had to be the custodian of such a thing, I too would find sleep difficult, what with all the ninjas trying to pilfer it.
In all seriousness tho, kudos, and keep up the good work. :)
We do love blendah
Blendah blendro!
What i love about geometry nodes is, i have to learn everything again from start in every new blender version.
This comment was brought to you by Sarcasm.
They move pretty fast don't they? Though I find it's getting easily to get my head around the new batch with every release, because concepts are refining and it's all kinda honing in.
@@harryblends It is not that easy for me, cause i do not understand it at all. I just memorize working node trees.🫠
this is high quality af
so is this comment. Thanks!
Noodle is life.
Believe
@@harryblends 🤣🤣🤣
It is.... Its just art... And i am honest.... I cried a little
We all weep for noodles. Because noodles can be so beautiful
A cinematic story
where the fuck did you come from? this is gold. you're legitimately funny, and informative
My parents found me in an Amazon delivery and decided I went well with their couch
I'm glad to hear that yelling is still a viable alternative to therapy. Cheaper, too.
Just don’t yell near anyone because they’ll need therapy too
I have liked and subscribed. 😛😛
and I have replied to your comment and hearted it. Thank you

Makes me want to hang out with Marvin the Android 😂
2:22 😱
She's ALWAYS watching ...
How do you make it so that when you connect nodes you can make a dot and then keep moving the line and create another dot? I mean the connectors between nodes.
I love your videos, it's a pity they're not in Spanish because I don't fully understand, but I try to replicate them as best as I can.
Sadly my Spanish is worse than my topology
@@harryblends No worries, I have a question: What if I need to arrange a mountain of books and I just want to copy the main stack of books and instance them across some circles? How do I change the iterations for each one separately
I was searching for the Random value node in the search bar does anyone know if it has been rename or has been remove?
Sort Elements!
That's *EXACTLY* the node I've been waiting for (that I never expected to exist).
I make *Massive* node groups (over 18,000 nodes) for procedurally generated meshes, like my humanoid with *ZERO* modeling. The problem was, every time a new version came out, they'd screw up indexing of every node, breaking my model... One was so bad, split edges, that it literally re-indexes the entire model *RANDOMLY*.
Now I have a permanent solution to all their ridiculousness.
Demo:
ua-cam.com/video/XZ171UCxfXA/v-deo.html
The rotate rotation, is that just a gyroscope on 2 lvls, essentially?
Yes. It allows you to take a rotation and rotate it by a second rotation. It's a bit like the "buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo sentence..." where subject and verb are the same word and things get confusing fast
🙌Om, mighty UA-cam algorithms 🤖, more views please! 🥰
🧮 🙏🏻
i'm having déjà vu...
Je viens de manger du poulet

be. nodey.

This is a reupload, right ? Or am I living in the matrix?
The first set of nodes in this video are from the Alpha video I posted back in January, but then the rest of are the nodes added to 4.1 since then. Or improved since then. It's 4 new nodes in the first set and 3 new nodes in the second. I wrestled with posting a second separate video for this second set but thought putting them all together (and delisting the alpha video) was a better solution. More functional. And yes, you are living in the matrix. It's nice in here though. We have a room full of puppies and unlimited burritos
@@harryblendsThank you for confirming that I am not going crazy (yet)
It makes me depressed to think that you'll probably never top "If you love your normals" joke. Will the world ever again line up that perfectly for a joke?
Don't be sad Nick. I'm pretty sure we're going to be reaching new heights of daftness soon enough
