- There's been a lot of rumors surrounding Dragon's Dogma 2 lately. So I decided to put together a quick video going over 15 facts that we know about Dragon's Dogma 2. I won't include rumors like how to unlock vocations, or speculations about new or possible new hybrid vocations or new advanced vocations. This video also does not speculate about what the best vocation is. The game is still weeks away so we won't know how to unlock the warfarer vocations. It also has not been confirmed that a Dragon's Dogma 2 Demo is coming so I don't even mention it here. But with all the News about Dragon's Dogma 2, what are you most excited about? Let me know in the comments below.

Hey man Aaron here. Love the content man. Also 3:53 is peak comedy 😂😂😂. So true!
🤣 man I love that movie so much. What Vocations you planning on running? I saw a post the other day that's leads me to believe there's only gonna be the 10 Vocations they've already revealed l.
@@1C3TV probably start out with fighter since they’ve unfortunately split the DD 1 vocation strider into two separate vocations, ( archer and thief) . I’ll go with mystic spearhand once I unlock it. The teleportation / Jedi like powers really intrigue me. Considering you’ve fleshed out the coverage of this game what are you planning to run?
Honestly I always run Tank classes so probably Fighter at first. But I feel the same about Mystic Spearhand. All that teleporting looks awesome 😆

wakestone = rez consumable for your main character
Art of Metamorphosis = character editor
Heartfelt Pendant = gift for romance npc option
Rift Crystals = current to rent other players' pawns and buy unique items
Camping Kit = i'd assume this would give buffs when you rest at it, not sure
No idea what the rest are tho 🤔
Interesting, all of this sounds like one time use items though, am I right in assuming so?
With the ability to destroy bridges, can you rebuild them? Seems odd to just get handicapped for no reason.
I'm hoping the bridges will be rebuilt after some time, maybe a few days or weeks in game. Not sure if this was a mechanic in DD1 so we'll see 🤔
Cooking was confirmed to offer buffs, style monster hunter. I believe it was mentioned on german game magazine too.
Glorious
Man I hope food buffs you enough to the point where it really makes a difference. I'd love having the need to farm ingredients for meals.
Im playing through Dogma 1 now in anticipation for the sequel. The fast travel not being a thing only if you get these expensive one time use crystals is a bit bummer. My feet hurt walking around, wish we had mounts this time in the sequel
Yeah, one of the first things I'm gonna try to figure out is how to get money to buy fairystones. I'm not a fan of no fast traveling lol
You should have an eternal ferrystone (unlimited fast travel) in your storage. Go to an inn to grab it. All players get it at the start if you own the Dark Arisen version of the game, and it makes regular ferrystones completely useless
How do you know this?
I kind of hope we get personal cart, like shield hero anime. Travel around in cart.
Shield Hero Anime? Please, do tell.
I really hope they have a permanent art of metamorphosis you can buy in post game like in the post game of DD1. (For those that dont know it allows you to re-enter character creation for your main character and their main follower to change how you look)
Ooohh, thanks for letting us know. Yeah I hope that item can be purchased in game. If it isn't then that's why I hate pre-order bonuses. Like anything you can get from pre-order you should be able to get later.
@1C3TV you'll likely be able to. In DD1 you can buy art of metamorphosis to change one time or a permanent version for much more.
A permanent version? Like you could change your look whenever you wanted to?
@@1C3TVYes. The Art of Metamorphosis would allow it once, while the Secret of Metamorphosis would allow it indefinitely. The Art of Metamorphosis was available very early for 5k Rift Crystals (special in-game currency separate from gold. It took a bit to get it at low levels). The Secret of Metamorphosis was available upon defeating the dragon (entering post-game) for 10k Rift Crystals (nothing by that point, unless you had gone bananas spending it).
@@1C3TVyeah, instead of single use
In DD 1 you could change the way your character and pawn looked at the Barber Shop as well. Yes I'm looking forward to DD 2 after playing DD 1 now on NG+ 16 as a level 200 Magic Archer.
Idk, I like how the archer does all those jumps and flourishes but Magic Archer doesn't seem to do any of that. Personally I'm looking forward to seeing what the advanced vocation for thief is gonna be.
ok i will Explain a bit better than the incomplete Wiki.... first off we have the Arisen that gets choosen because he/she had the will to Face the Dragon and the dragon takes the heart to test the will of the Arisen so that when the Arisen faces the Dragon he gets multiple choices at the End "become Duke and give your Beloved to the Dragon, go back "and to level up more" or Face the Dragon so if we go with the lore and we wouldnt have the load/save system then if the Arisen gets defeated by the dragon then he would become a Drake/Wyvern or Wyrm depending on the Vocation/Class he has if he defeats the Dragon then he gets his Heart Back but the Everfall opens up and we will see the Current of the Rift where the Seneschall the steward of the world resides.
Now lets come to the Dragon.... he was once an Arisen and that is because every Arisen comes to the Point of where he needs to defeat the Seneschal after defeating the Dragon and if the Arisen gets defeated by then Seneschal then he will become the New Dragon and if the Arisen defeats the seneschall then he will become his sucessor and at the beginning the seneschall will give the arisen 2 choices "return to a false reality or Face him" so all that was just to test your will and select a new sucessor for the cycle and hoping one will break it by killing themselves with the Godsbane blade because thats the only way out
Yup. Absolute ridiculousness lol but I love it. I can't wait to get my hands on this game. Thanks for the explanation though that makes a lot more sense.
If you do this you become your pawn that you made witch is why they all follow...they are you all the pawns are you
So all the pawns are Arisen that died?
@@1C3TV No, that other comment is wrong. After you end your life with the Godsbane blade, you and your pawn are cast out from the Seneschal's chamber. Your pawn takes over your body, not the other way around. The Arisen is gone, and the pawn has been given free will, to live on in your body.
Pawns can gain free will and become human over time, especially if they have a particular close relationship with their master. They take on aspects on their master's personality and appearance, and eventually become human.
Obviously ours is a very unique case, since very few Arisen ever become a Seneschal, and only one (us) has been known to reject their duties, and kill themselves.
Man that's wild 😆 I can't wait to see how DD2 explains all this.
Really upset there is no multiplayer. I can play with my friends lifeless pawn but not them. Perfect.
Honestly, I don't think the game would do well as a multiplayer. They tried Dragon's Dogma online a few years ago and while it did really well at first, it just didn't stick outside of Japan. At least that's what Capcom said.
I only preorder because it cost around 56usd on fanatical vs steam 65usd (price is bit off for evertone due to exchange rate)
Now that's an acceptable reason :)
you had me at trogdor
Welcome aboard the insanity that is my brain 😆
It’s only a extra 10 bucks, it’s literally a cheeseburger meal don’t be cheap lol
Oh I highly agree on getting the Deluxe edition. I'm just saying don't pre-order it. Just buy it day one.
Give me that Goddamn map! 😂😂😂
We're supposed to be a unit! 🤣
I understand in a way why you say to not pre order games in general. but come on be realistic for this genre of game. For this genre of game you want to buy it and play it from the released, when everything is unknown. You don't even wanna wait one week because youtube will already be full of tips and tricks videos. Fair enough you can avoid to watch it, but come on you get the feeling. So now you re basically in front of a game that you know you will buy and play from day one. So even though the advantages of pre ordering are minimal, it's still stupid not to do it.
Honestly my hatred for pre-orders stems from a time in gaming when devs had different pre-order bonuses depending on which outlet you pre-order from on top of the fact that these bonuses could only be unlocked by pre-ordering. So in order to get all the content you had to pre-order from Walmart, Best-Buy, Target, AND Amazon if you wanted to get all the exclusive pre-order bonuses. Granted devs seemed to have moved away from this practice as almost all pre-order content becomes available after release at some point, but still, I still can't get that sour taste out of my mouth.
I have decided that I will pre order only if I’m off work that day so I can play it instead of waiting to get off work the next day lol
But...it's the devil 😆
Pre order had made me disappointed for many times now i watch review bfr buy
