Keep up the awesome work Taylor. Watching your channel has motivated me to finally finish my 73 cb750 which I rode for the first time on the road yesterday.
Hey, i know its late! Thanks. I've learnt a lot. My next build is a CB550 for autumn (fall) winter 2019 in the UK. All comments have been of value as well.
Just finished watching this build and I think it looks great 👍. I'm restoring an old car on my UA-cam channel at the moment but I'm planning on doing a honda cb next. Loved watching the build mate and I'm just going to start the 750 build next. Great channel 😁
Ha! I saw that in the test ride video but as you didn't mention it I figured I was seeing things. Good project and nice bike. Have enjoyed the series. Looking forward to what's next...
Good project! I found a '75 550 Super Sport for $300 a while ago and it was a great project and ride! Update tires and some stuff and they handle good and a fun ride for very little expense. Keep up the good work.
Dude your build is really 99% perfect.I'd change a few little objective stuff, but overall is really well thought out and done.I really liked the frame bend and the custom battery box.Subscribed!
Beautiful build! I've been following it since you started. I like your selection of handlebars. I'm also putting black drag bars on the '77 CB550F that I'm rebuilding in my garage right now. I really like the look of those bars on these classic Hondas. Congrats again on another excellent build! Looking forward to the next.
Fantastic build. Been watching it since day one and I am certainly impressed. Would love to have seen this bike in person. I understand from your last vid that it may already have a buyer? Again, great work, and yes, I am one of the put a fender on it (minimal at least).
Nicely done, Dude! Looks good, sounds good, seems to run good. I'd ride that li'l dumplin' anywhere! (But, yeah, I'm in the front fender club...sorry!)
Taylor, great build. Simple question, what did you use for the license plate holder? Did you weld something up or buy something? If you bought something, what is it? I need one for a cafe racer that I built. Right now my plate is mounted to a light mounted at the rear of the seat pan. I've had the rear tire hit the plate a few times. Whatever you're using looks perfect.
Looks good man. Im OCD though. First zip tie that mess up all by the front wheel and loom it. Second chop off the center stand mounting brackets off the frame. You know you dont need it. All in all looks great! Like how you got the dents out of the tank.
Looks amazing, it was great watching the process as always!! Can I ask where you picked up those front turn signals from? Didn't see them on your amazon and I like the look of those little guys!
My OCD is struggling with the gap between the gas tank and the seat, and the missing front fender/ bracket, that results in less tolerance to torsion on the suspension, in the rest really nice build.
Zach Sisson with a bike with a single disk brake up front using the brake can exert more force on one fork and tweak the front end of there isn’t some kind of brace or fender.
Hey man! Thanks for your awesome build videos. I'm building out an 83' CB650 Nighthawk Brat style and I'm struggling with how to mount the tank that I have. The bike came with no stock tank, only a 74' Cb750 tank. It's been hammered down to fit the frame bar width, but I'm not sure how to go about adjusting the bushings location and adding a new attachment point to the frame. I'm not a welder. Your videos are great because they show how much easier this stuff would be if you can weld, but is there a way to do these things without welding? Or should I just go find a professional to fabricate me something?
What diameter did you get for your shorty muffler? For the Delkevic 4-1 combo. Love the sound, and I have the stock straight pipes, I feel like the neighbors are going break into the garage and chop the bike up, if i dont swap this out
I got curious now: do you own a modern bike as well? I think that the combo old and new bike is perfect. When you want to get on a trip, just hop in the new bike and when she gets kinda boring, fire the old one.
Do you have any tricks to adjust the floating front disc caliper from rubbing on the disc? Mine is always rubbing even after adjusting the spring tension.
Without a rear fender your battery box is at risk for getting all kinds of crud thrown up into it. Not good for all those electronics. Might want to add some kind of deflection plate to protect it. You might want to have a 3D printed part made for the gap between the fuel tank and seat.
Sorry for bombarding you with questions but what stock carbs do you have? Also what size slow jets? I have a 022a carb and would like to run pod filters with your 4-1 set up but want to know what set up you were using with carbs as you said you used 110 main jets, what slow jets?
I love the sound, but I don't see a tail/brake light, am I missing something or is there none on it. I had a 500 just like the one you showed the other day and I'm looking forward to what you are going to do with it.. I had that bike for about 5 years....
Looks and sounds the bee's knees. Brilliant Taylor.
Put a small bracket on the exhaust. When you go over bumps it'll be putting a lot of stress on those exhaust studs
The early CB's were some of the best, (and best looking) bikes ever made. This one is a knockout !
Brilliant series. Thanks Taylor.
I love the build. I am sooooooo nervous when you rode it without gloves! Dude! Protect yourself!! and ride safe. All the best, Joe.
Without gloves, lol
Extremely like what you did with this, very nice
I found your channel the other day and just binged this entire build series. This is the content I've been looking for man. Well done! Keep it up.
Same lol
Beautiful ride.
learned tons from this series; thanks
Thanks for watching Jim.
I took screenshots so that I know exactly how to build my 550 when I get one. The r6 needs a vintage friend. I love your videos, man. Top quality.
Never been much of a Honda fan...until now! I want one! Really enjoyed this series. Off to watch your other builds. 😎
Sounds just great well done to you on a brilliant job combination of knowledge patience and skills your a good one .
Great series. I learned some things along the way. Looking forward to next.
It came out nice.
Very nice work man.
Sounds great. I like the deep sound of the exhaust without it being just loud noise
Keep up the awesome work Taylor. Watching your channel has motivated me to finally finish my 73 cb750 which I rode for the first time on the road yesterday.

Beautiful exhaust note... I could listen to that all day mate 👍
End result is simple and classy, really digging the bike.
Nice bike and nice job. Thanks for the videos.
Awesome bike again. Catching up on your playlists!

That's great, brother! Looks awesome!
Great looking bike!!
Bike sounds great!
Nice build. Looks awesome and sounds great
Brilliant
It has a great sound. That muffler is perfect.
such a beautiful bike. sounds great to
Ha! I saw that in the test ride video but as you didn't mention it I figured I was seeing things. Good project and nice bike. Have enjoyed the series. Looking forward to what's next...
Another old classic dinosaur back on the road looking good sounding good rock on Congrats
Awesome bike and an awesome series!! Looking forward to the next one.
Great job looking forward to the next one.
I really like the green faced guages, had them on my '76 750F
Well done, Taylor! 🏍👍🏍
Well done Taylor. Love that you actually get these projects finished!
Good project! I found a '75 550 Super Sport for $300 a while ago and it was a great project and ride! Update tires and some stuff and they handle good and a fun ride for very little expense. Keep up the good work.
Looks awesome
Looks great. 👍🏻
Really like the sound!

Sounds mint!
Nice job Taylor, it turned out nice and runs top notch.
Loooooooove this bike. My only critique... here in Houston, I would definitely want a rear brake light....
That looks exactly like the one that I just sold! Same parts, tires, etc. I had clip-ons and an aftermarket speedo, mine was straight piped too haha
Great bike man! Can’t wait for more 👍🏻
Beautiful bike bro 👍
The like button was smashed so hard for this video
Good job. 🏍

That does seem to be a great combo exhaust header for that bike for sure!
great job! btw, i like the no front fender
would love to see a yamaha sr 500 on your channel :)
great vids by the way!
would've went with a set of pro taper dirtbike bars myself, but keep building rad bikes man.
I'm running dirtbike bars on my street tracker. Things a hoss.
Fantastic build. Been watching it since day one and I am certainly impressed. Would love to have seen this bike in person. I understand from your last vid that it may already have a buyer? Again, great work, and yes, I am one of the put a fender on it (minimal at least).
Thanks. I have had a few people reach out wanting to buy the bike but it’s not technically sold yet.
Taylor, I know it's too late ,but if you had heated up the handlebars with a blow torch maybe you could have bent the bars straight .
Looks better
drag bars are so underrated thats what i run
I would love to daily that bike looks awesome
Nice
Good day Sir, is there anything you've done with the frame? kinda clean look it's so nice.. thanks and more power
Nice job! You should consider sliding up the headlight-mounts 10 mm to match the gadges. If possible ;-)
You should try to do a full scrambler build on one of these older bikes for a project.
Ironhead Sportster chopper build? That's my guess for the next build
Nicely done, Dude! Looks good, sounds good, seems to run good. I'd ride that li'l dumplin' anywhere! (But, yeah, I'm in the front fender club...sorry!)
Wow
Is that a new front brake master cylinder? Looks great. TBH, I would try to straighten the handlebars, just as a learning experience, if nothing else.
I know it's got to sound pretty awesome in real life, but it's sounding quite sweet even with the gopro.
Piece or bar stock twisted and mounted using the bottom shock mount.
My cb750 used to be strait piped 4 into 4 and i did not really think it was that loud. My parents hatted it, i have a mac pipe now
Very cool, apart from the brown leather bits
One day I will ride my bike to your pad and have a beer! 🍺
lovely build. a bit too much talk for last episode. wanna hear and see the bike in action ^^ looks great.
Looks good man. Im OCD though. First zip tie that mess up all by the front wheel and loom it. Second chop off the center stand mounting brackets off the frame. You know you dont need it. All in all looks great! Like how you got the dents out of the tank.

ohhh yeeeaaa
You should do more riding videos
Looks great! What will it take to own ?
Hi Taylor just wondering what pilot jet size did you use in the carbies?
I missed what you said about the rectifier at 9:14 -modern fulfidge regulator-rectifier? Please can you clarify-thanks!
I put in a new modern Reg/Rec that works with the lithium battery.
Next bike CB550 with mono shock kit, modern upside down fork and rear disc conversion? Please?
My OCD is struggling with the gap between the gas tank and the seat, and the missing front fender/ bracket, that results in less tolerance to torsion on the suspension, in the rest really nice build.
Serious question... How would the front fender/bracket effect torsion? I was gonna ditch mine cause I like the look.
Zach Sisson with a bike with a single disk brake up front using the brake can exert more force on one fork and tweak the front end of there isn’t some kind of brace or fender.

2.5” inlet, 12” long.
what mainjet would you put in in a cb500 (4in1 exhaust with unipods). What Pilot Jets are u running? Thanks and love ur vids! Huuuge fan ;)
110s and 38s That combo has worked great for me on 5 or 6 CB550s now.
I got curious now: do you own a modern bike as well? I think that the combo old and new bike is perfect. When you want to get on a trip, just hop in the new bike and when she gets kinda boring, fire the old one.
I currently have 7 bikes and the newest one is a 1978 😂
Very nice bike but it needs a front fender!
Can the collector be flipped to bring the sweep of the exhaust a little higher ?
Do you have any tricks to adjust the floating front disc caliper from rubbing on the disc? Mine is always rubbing even after adjusting the spring tension.

I could be wrong but it really doesnt sound like thats firing on all four cylinders.
Sorry for bombarding you with questions but what stock carbs do you have? Also what size slow jets? I have a 022a carb and would like to run pod filters with your 4-1 set up but want to know what set up you were using with carbs as you said you used 110 main jets, what slow jets?
They are the stock Keihin 022a carbs with 38 idle and 110 mains.
you must have 1 arm longer than the other, lol
why not try the clubman bars upside down?
well at least you fixed it and weren't to proud to say you missed it.
Is the green to brown fade on the tank a factory paint job?
Will Thompson yes
It's not a feature of the factory paint job, but rather the patina over the years.
I love the sound, but I don't see a tail/brake light, am I missing something or is there none on it. I had a 500 just like the one you showed the other day and I'm looking forward to what you are going to do with it.. I had that bike for about 5 years....
There is one on there. Check out my last video on how I set it up.
what size jets would you install in a 1978 cb750k with airpods and 4into1 muffler
Do you have a license plate light? I can't pass inspection without one where I am.
No, but I have never had a problem around here. Would be really simple to add.
How many turns out are the secondary jets on the bike?
