Great to see you back making content for youtube. !!!! your absence was missed.
Awesome build Taylor! Fantastic job and sounds amazing! Thanks so much for sharing! 😄
This reminds me of the time I was working full time as a motorcycle mechanic, my first "heavy" bike was a CB500, can't remember what year, but I'm thinking -79..
It's great to see those fantastic bikes being restored 😊
I hope you had a great Easter and that everything is ok! 😊
I love your videos so much. I'm trying to create a cafe scene in my local FL town. Currently building a small shop on my property to do just this! Im trying to learn everything about these motors right now. Such a fun hobby!
Where are you in Florida?? I’m currently building a cafe in Jax!
Hey, where are you in FL? I'm in Orlando and I'm building a '78 CB550 café or Brat style. Hope we can connect.
Beautiful.
Great to have you back Taylor.
🏴
Glad to see you making videos again. I enjoy seeing the bikes you build. I was surprised to see you riding without a helmet on. I’ve been riding for over 55 years and always wear protective gear. You never know when you may need it to save your life.
Seen this bike all over google always wondered how you did and what you did nice to see that I can watch it now ❤
Yep.
My leadman, “We never use starting fluid in our shop!”
Fuel, compression, spark. He never gave me a faster way to rule out compression and spark so I spray away as soon as he turns his back.
Missed this content. Glad you're back.
It’s great to have you back.
Cb550 sound is beautiful!!
😂 I don’t always do a refresher course when I’m working on bikes.
But when I do I like to refer to myself. 😂
You turn back 🎉... Best regards from Europe 😊
I bought a new off the showroom floor 1975 Honda 550 Four. I would love to have another.
Man i missed you Videos!
Hope there will be more :)
Regards fromm Germany!
Love u see u back in action
This bike is hitting me in the WANT!!
Nice looking ride
legend. keep the content coming man!
You may still have to rejet up a couple sizes if youre running a 4 into 1 exhaust. I have a 1977 with the pd carbs and it has a 4 into 2 old school mag K e r k e r type exhaust and emgo pods. I rejetted to size 105 mains and 42 pilot jets fyi... I removed the airbox because as u know its a huge PIA to get on and off. The bike runs really good with this setup.
...fyi.
As for the leaking bleeder screw you can try wrapping it with Teflon tape
Could you make a video on how to adjust the clutch on the bike
Hi I've just got a CB500 and been following you since then and learned so much frm you. Can you show me how to fit the speedo in front of the triple tree?
Beautiful job. Great to see you back at it. Love the CB550s.
What tires are those?
Can you do an actual full original restore on one of the Honda’s, bring it back to life 👌
Welcome back man! For the rear of that bike did you cut the horizontal stock hump and weld a flat bar in its place?
Maybe use DOT4 brake fluid to avoid paint damage?
Where can I get brake pads for one of these bikes? I have a 1971 cb500 that I've been working on
let me now how much i can make you a trade also!
That bike isn't a scrap bike at all. It looks way too good, let's see what it started like before all the new stuff went on.
lol at watching your own video for info 😅
Very nice indeed! I dig it! Good to see you back in the swing of things! Blessings and respect!
Great build again! As you mentioned it, would you always prefere the stock airbox instead of podfilters? I have an original air box, but I still have to decide which way I go and you find so many different opinions on that topic xD.
Looks awesome man! Always great work!
Love the sound of a classic Honda.
I like seeing the things you do each video even if it is the same thing, its part of the content of why I like watching your videos!
Great videos. I just pulled a 78 CB out of a barn and will be using your videos to help me to get the bike on the road ..I’ve never worked on anything short of a carb cleaning on my son’s KX65 and an oil change on my 95 Tundra. I’m optimistic….haven’t tried to start it yet…figured I’d pull the carbs first to make sure everything is good?
I really like the sound of those bikes. Would love to have one just to kick around on
Great looking bike. Love these videos, I’ve been watching for years, but don’t forget lots haven’t and seeing you modify the fender are things people watch your channel to see. Just good for thought.
Taylor. Do you happen to know what the front brake callipers hose fitting is? I’m trying to get a new braided one piece hose for my cb500 but can’t find out what the spec of the fitting is.
Pod
O filters are absolutely the worst thing you can put on your bike if you're going to do that at least use the phone once those are good the pot filters are f****** trash
I recently came up on a 550 that doesn't have carbs, what carbs would you recommend for a scrambler build?
First comment from Poland! ;-)
Get a microphone, will make the quality better. good to have you back
i guess plumbers tape on bleeder valves isn't advised?
Where'd you get the seat from? I need one on my 74 CB
great video mate awesome job love the video
Muito pika (very nice)
Wear some eye protection!!!
In the UK your $500 scrap bike would probably have an asking price of at least £1000 . I would love to rebuild an old Japanese bike but cant afford the silly asking prices. 🤥
Same in Aus 😂😂
If one of the four exhaust headers read as cooler, say ~200 when the others were closer to 300F, would that be time for a vacuum carb sync?
Wow! i love it
Love yur builds! I'm doing a top end and cam chain components on my 73 cl350. My question is what paint do you use on your engines? A lot of my parts have been media blasted already just gotta take a wire wheel to my bottom end cases.
Love these bikes. Sorry I sold my 550. Good rebuild videos, looks and sound great. Dan ✌️🇨🇦
Looks good and sounds amazing!!
hell yeah man! Glad that you're back to the YT thing, love your channel!
awesome build
Amazing, what color did you use to paint the exhausts?
Great sounding bike
Love it - wondering if you had Tuffside apply the Honda logo or if you do that? I think it adds a lot!
I wondered the same!
Bike looks great and sounds good
Always nice to see your work
I use dot 5 for that reason, sir
This is my dream bike.
👍👍👍
Wow you removed the front fender and made a very uncomfortable seat wow so custom. If you restored it to stock you could have doubled your money, and maybe get a reputation for quality not destruction.
Wow. Nice unwarranted slam. Chill, he has done this for a reason. And has done restorations.
@@timorzel3871 Stop molesting the survivors.
A full OEM resto would probably cost many times as much as this custom, so doubling your sale price would make no sense, leave that nonesense to the silly old men with nothing better to do!
@@tonyhawkins1258 you don't know what you're talking about. I saw at old 750/4 at the bank parking lot. Random people were shouting numbers 10 15 30 k.
Trolls, they never cease to entertain with their toxic know-it-all comments.
Dang that thing looks great.
