About the "wrong spark plug", I'm not a mechanical person either. You take the old one out and go to the hardware store, saying "I need another one of these."
Don't know the story behind the lazy son but it appears he could get off his butt & computer and do the yard work. I bet he never seen an old fashion push mower. Oh wait that mite be to much work for him seeing he looked ok at the door.
My dad had a saying. There’s more than one way to skin a cat. I never liked that saying, but it’s appropriate for this video. Bless you, Erik, for your generous spirit.
Thank you so much for helping this mom. I have been a single mom and have been in the situation with a broken lawnmower. My yard wasn't as long mine was only a few weeks overdue. But the point is I know the feeling of what it is to have to do it alone with no help. So I say thank you. Thank you for helping others. God has used a couple of people over the years to help me, but otherwise I had to learn to rent a lawn mower. And 1 year I did free babysitting for a family and they bought me a used push mower for Mother's Day. And as I've gotten older, my muscles and joints are bad that I can't do it anymore. So now I have to pay somebody. But in it all God is good and I thank you so much again for your example of encouraging others to help others. When my boys were young my older ones there was a lady I know whose husband died. For the whole summer my sons and I would go over there and her yard was the tall grass in the beginning and they mowed it and we cleaned it all up. They never got paid all. They got was a glass of water but they changed someone's life through a tough situation, and they are now amazing fathers and have helped others.
Perhaps you could teach the son how to get the info of the mowers spark plug and how to go to the store to get the right one? Maybe help him service thier mower? Thanks for the video!
Beautiful job done! Looks so nice👌I didn’t realize she somehow gave him a secret note saying her prayers had been answered. God has blessed me numerous times.🙏🙏🙏🙏🩷🩷🩷
@@panders55- let me take a guess or two about your mowing escapades. “I had a rotary push mower to mow five acres around the house. After the first two hours, the callouses and blisters on my hands made it difficult to mow because the handles were so slippery with my blood, but I never gave up! When I finally finished, I had to sharpen the rotary blades and headed two miles down the road to grandma’s house, mowed her yard, walked two miles back home and started over at the beginning of the five acres. I wasn’t paid to do this work, I just did it!”
I would be embarrassed if someone was nice enough to clean my yard for free and my healthy looking son didn't help. Not sure when the video was made but if the son wasn't in school he needs to be working somewhere to help.his mom financially.
The young man saying that someone couldn't get alawn mower up on the lawn hadn't met you yet. It's been said where there's a will there's a way. It was kind of scary but you made a way 😊 Heartfelt note from the mother. I hope that the young man will step up and keep up with the yard before it gets that bad again. You need to take care of yourself Eric. Stop and take plenty of breaks and water. I really felt bad for you doing all this work in this heat. You need a baseball cap on or hat to protect yourself like the Aussies do from sunstroke.
Nice work Erik, I recommend wearing a light colored shirt instead of a black shirt when its hit and sunny. Makes a bit of difference.Get an old long dress shirt or something like that made of cotton.

None of my kids as adults are afraid of hard work. Aspergers or anything else, we all chip in around my house. One son had horrible allergies with asthma, but he helped wit inside things. Peace!
I hate to say this, but I clicked the video because the little house looked so beautiful and idyllic sitting in all the tall grass. I thought it looked like a painting...lol. That said, I was mesmerized by your cleanup effort although I am wondering what kind of a creton I am watching a video of a man working like a dog for free while I laze on a couch on a hot Sunday afternoon. You have both my deepest respect for your goodness and work ethic, and my profound shame and apologies for not living up to your example. My hat is off to you, Sir.
Amaze me to see a young man living there and don’t do nothing but be on that cell phone 📱 we must do better with our children including mines too. They are really lazy and not interested in learning a house 🏠 needs ,upkeep continues. Parents are working to pay for home but our kids couldn’t care less. Thank you 🙏 Sir for cleaning up America 🇺🇸
That would be a hard yard to take care of. Not able to get access to yard . Being a single bet she doesn’t have $$ to get things repaired or get new. Thx for doing this. I’m a new widow and am lucky to have a neighbor to mow my lawn since my lawnmower broke.
God Bless you Etik... You have such an amazing Soul and such a beautiful heart ❤️ I cant even guess how many days this job took to get so Beautiful...Erik, you are an Angel on Earth... God Bless you for your compassion, your giving heart and hard work. You have answered so many prayers for people in need❤ May the Lord Bless you Abundantly and Bless you with Love, compassion and monetary blessings.. What you do for these people in need is so amazing and I could not be prouder of you... God's Blessings and Love to you Erik🙏❤️🙏
Your a champion. First you help the neighbour then you almost go mountain climbing to complete the front which includes picking up the lawn clippings. Shame that young man didn't come out and help. Keep up the good work.
When I was 12 I did all the yardwork and weeding layered gardens just like this. Now I am Seventy and still push a mower and till and take care of the garden and flower beds.
Great job helping this mom out!!! I'm not a fan of snakes, either!! I tend to scream and run, even for a little garter snake! It's silly, I know! 😂 On the other hand, mice do not bother me at all. All my sisters and my mom were afraid of them. I always had to take the mouse out of the house for them because they were all standing on chairs! 🤣
We as parents become stumbling blocks to our children when we don’t require them to do chores and work, no time for goofing off. They can goof off when they lives on their own.
Eric helps those who are in need. It just doesn't matter. There needs to more of this spirit across the world. Also I noticed that Eric does not use gloves. I would have sp many blisters.
Erik, you're the best! My thoughts about the son is we don't know the story there. Maybe Erik's hard work will model for him what to do in the yard. Kids don't just automatically know how all that works and what to do first, etc. Maybe that nice man next store could give him some advice on keeping the property up too. Even just getting a weed whipper with a quality extension cord would be a good start for him.
It's good you brought the ramps with you, and good you used your noodle to think of a way to get your zero turn up there. Like you and many different viewers said where there's a will there's a way. Good job Erik!
Thank you for helping that single mom and her son for every one saying that the son could help his mom. y'all don't know if he has medical problems just because he looks healthy don't mean nothing just be mindful of don't judge
Regardless of the circumstances Eric, you did awesome job, even with the heat. Phoenix is in a heatwave as well. No rain in sight. Temperatures in the 100's +. Stay cool. 😊

I don't like people using "single mom" for not doing something . The son looks healthy . and strong to help his mom.
I'm just like you, kid is just lazy and he knows mom can't make him do anything.
This excuse persists and seems there’s always a son that looks like he just rolled out of bed wearing socks and superhero shirt…lol.

Maybe other issues with young man, as suggested by another viewer. But it does cross your mind. Just come out and offer to some light work.

I hope you were keeping hydrated. That was a BIG job!

You did a magnificent job Erik, the work you do seems easy but it is not.
Thank you!
That would be a hard yard to take care of. Not able to get access to yard . Being a single bet she doesn’t have $$ to get things repaired or get new. Thx for doing this. I’m a new widow and am lucky to have a neighbor to mow my lawn since my lawnmower broke.
Prayers to you my friend, blessed to help out this family
God Bless you Etik... You have such an amazing Soul and such a beautiful heart ❤️ I cant even guess how many days this job took to get so Beautiful...Erik, you are an Angel on Earth... God Bless you for your compassion, your giving heart and hard work. You have answered so many prayers for people in need❤ May the Lord Bless you Abundantly and Bless you with Love, compassion and monetary blessings.. I'm just blessed to help
Oh Eric...you had me clinching my teeth when you went up and down that ramp😲🫣.
I was too! lol
It turned out absolutely beautiful great job ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊
Thanks for the support!
Your a champion. First you help the neighbour then you almost go mountain climbing to complete the front which includes picking up the lawn clippings. Shame that young man didn't come out and help. Keep up the good work.
Looks great... and impressive backing up skills with those ramps!
When I was 12 I did all the yardwork and weeding layered gardens just like this. Now I am Seventy and still push a mower and till and take care of the garden and flower beds.
If there was a better word than amazing I would use it. You go!
Thank you!
they all scare me!
We as parents become stumbling blocks to our children when we don’t require them to do chores and work, no time for goofing off. They can goof off when they lives on their own.
Hard to say what was happening, I was just happy to help her
Eric helps those who are in need. It just doesn't matter. There needs to more of this spirit across the world. Also I noticed that Eric does not use gloves. I would have sp many blisters.
I can't stand gloves
Erik, you're the best! My thoughts about the son is we don't know the story there. Maybe Erik's hard work will model for him what to do in the yard. Kids don't just automatically know how all that works and what to do first, etc. Maybe that nice man next store could give him some advice on keeping the property up too. Even just getting a weed whipper with a quality extension cord would be a good start for him.
I'm just glad to help
You be careful if it's 90 degrees out!! We need your kindness around!!
It's good you brought the ramps with you, and good you used your noodle to think of a way to get your zero turn up there. Like you and many different viewers said where there's a will there's a way. Good job Erik!
Always a way to get it done
You call them baggers, we call them grass catchers. Lol. Have a great day, Erik. 👍👍👏👏🇦🇺🇦🇺
Thank you for helping that single mom and her son for every one saying that the son could help his mom. y'all don't know if he has medical problems just because he looks healthy don't mean nothing just be mindful of don't judge
I was glad to help!
That yard is something else ' You did a great job; 💚💚💚
Loved this video ❤
Appreciate your support, feel free to share!
Regardless of the circumstances Eric, you did awesome job, even with the heat. Phoenix is in a heatwave as well. No rain in sight. Temperatures in the 100's +. Stay cool. 😊
Thank you once again for giving someone a fresh start.
Blessed to be able to
You got your job cut out for you. Thank God for you not giving up
Never give up!
Great job Eric looks way better!
