if you wanna have some fun with motifs.... the captain bells memorial theme from 'Star Tropics' and this theme can be layered over each other and mashed up very easily!
Cheers! I would've thought this track would be more popular to cover, it's probably one of the top 3 in the game (although I guess the whole OST is pretty awesome top to bottom, something's gotta be less popular!) Definitely was fun to jam it out!
@thesosomusician After doing a quick search on covers of this song just now, I'm delightfully surprised to see it has been covered by more people now! I covered this song many years ago and at that time there weren't too many. Love to see classic vgm stuff get recognition by more people! Indeed the whole soundtrack to this game is a banger!
It's always surprising which songs are under covered, so many great tunes out there! I just checked out your version, nice work, always nice to hear really tight galloping riffs!

That's one thing I need to invest in learning and getting my hands on an E kit at some point, I can't be too loud in my current space lol. Anyway, Great stuff. Subbed to you too! I went on a 20 year drought of having drums at home, so I'm definitely grateful to both be able to play at home and record, especially since drums are really my main instrument! Old ninja movies are great, they're so over the top I almost only have to add in sound effects!
