I think she meant to say that Spanish people, like italians, portuguese and french are considered latins, and in the US white usually means anglo saxon, east european or nordic.
European would be any part of Europe, Anglo Saxons, Nordic are Northern Europeans, Eastern Europeans would be Slavs, Russians, etc. Spain is on the West coast of Europe, and British islands are North West of Spain.

no one who is actually Spanish (you know , the ones born in Spain ) says they are not white. it's usually the ones who are from South America that call themselves Spanish.
The race "Spanish" and "Latin" is a creation of americans. People from Latin America have a complex ethnicity but they never say they are "latin" or "spanish" outside USA. Im Brasilian and if u ask someone on the streets about theirs races they would probably say they are white or black or mixed-race or asian, but never "latin".

😂😂ITALIAN IS NOT AND ETHNICITY NOR A RACE! ITALIANS ARE BOTH WHITE SUCH AS NORTHERN ITALIAN DESCENT AND RACIALLY MEDITERRANEAN COMMONLY WITH SOUTHERN ITALIAN DESCENT! AND THOSE OF MEDITERRANEAN ITALIAN DESCENT WE ARE THE REAL ETHNICALLY LATINO MEN AND WOMEN! LEARN HISTORY! “Latino”? No. Indigenous Americans and mestizo Americans etc. of south Central American and Méxican origins are Not Latino as they are Not people of Mediterranean Latin origin. Hence the term LATIN_O. Real Latino/Latin people at the prominent Mediterranean descendants of Latin Europe, specifically the Mediterranean Italian descendants. Hence how the place Latina Italy got the historical Latin name Latina. Hence how Latin Europe became Latin Europe. It makes absolutely zero sense for people who have Nothing to do with being of Actual Latin origin to call themselves the misappropriated/ linguistically mutilated Latin European term Latino. Claiming to be “Latino” has become trending propaganda to appear more desirable for social status for social advantage amongst culturally ignorant people who suffer from an apparent cultural identity crisis. “Latin” America got its name SOLELY and ONLY to mean the part of the Americas that were conquered and ruled by Latin European countries in opposition to Anglo America which was conquered and ruled by the Anglo European country. BOTH terms were only created to mean Latin European territory and Anglo Europes territory. It ends there. It makes as much sense for indigenous Americans and mestizo Americans etc. to call themselves “Latino” that it does for Filipinos and other Asians who were also conquered and ruled by Latin European countries to call themselves “Latino”. The same with the Africans who were conquered and ruled by Latin European countries and therefore named the united states of “Latin” Africa. NONE of these places are Latin countries as they are Not countries of Latin origin which is where the Latin culture natively was Present that being ITALY/ LATIN EUROPE. The people of these colonized places they are Not Latin people as they are Not the prominent descendants from the indigenous Latin tribes/ ethnicity of Italy and Roman derived Latin Europe. You can Not be part of an origin, history and ethnicity which your ancestors factually are Not historically responsible for. Without Italy there would Not be the term Latino. So to claim “Latino” when you have No true prominent cultural inheritance from the Mediterranean Latin ancestors of Italy is an abhorrent form of cultural negation, cultural erasure and cultural theft. And true ethnically Latin Mediterranean people we share much of our DNA with the Middle East, North Africa and other Mediterranean descendants such as Albania and Greece. This is Nothing new in history. Us culturally rooted True Latin descendants specifically us Mediterranean Italian descendants only use the term Latino/ Latin in reference to those of Latin European origins specifically of Mediterranean descent with typical brown Mediterranean features with typical olive Mediterranean skin types. Any one else who has absolutely Nothing to do with being Latin claiming to be “Latino” is a false caricature and mockery towards us True and Real ethnically Latino Mediterranean people. Being willingly ignorant and willingly uneducated because you have been brainwashed to believe a False bias and erroneous definition of Latino which is fueled by misappropriation and cultural erasure of Italian Latin terms, and therefore only accepting false misinformation to further validate your erroneous perspective of what being “Latino” means does Not magically erase and rewrite almost 3,000 years of actual Latin history and the sole people who are historically responsible for it. Calling yourself “Latino” when you have Nothing to do with being of actual prominent Latin descent is No different than calling yourself a unicorn, calling yourself a unicorn does Not actually make you a unicorn, and it sounds equally ridiculous, erroneous and delusional. The same with calling yourself Latino when you are Not of prominent Mediterranean Latin descent. The cultural identity crisis amongst south Central Americans and Méxicans has created a true form of psychological detachment from their cultural identity which is why they feel so valid misusing cultural terms that are a complete misrepresentation of who they are, while at the same time these people are misrepresenting the historical group of actual Latin people who belong to these Latin terms that they are in fact misappropriating. If you can Not confidently call yourself Mediterranean, then you have No cultural inheritance to call yourself The Mediterranean term Latino. Calling a person of actual Latin Mediterranean origin who is educated and rooted and has honor for their heritage and the accomplishments of their ancestors “Ignorant” is the typical American/ Anglo language mentality of gaslighting in attempts to feel that the misappropriation and cultural R@pe of Latin Italian terms is justified and valid, it is Not nor will it ever be. To claim you are “Latino” because of the similarities you have simply because of the forced influences due to colonialism is true ignorance and even more willingly stupid. And the people you mentioned with so called “Latin European” ancestry of south Central American and Méxican origins are MESTIZO AMERICANS and it ends there. Mestizo They are a completely different group of people and their own ethnic group and it is Not the same as Latino. the same way there are Filipinos who are MESTIZO ASIANS NOT LATINO. The same way there are similarities due to colonialism in the Spanish East Indies, the same influences that are in the United States of Latin Africa due to colonialism. The same reason there are similarities with all Anglo language speaking countries due to England spreading their influencess through colonialism. And yet we are Not calling the people of the Spanish East Indies the false cultural term “Latino”, Nor are we calling the people of Latin Africa “Latino”, Nor are we calling all English speakers around the world the false term “Anglo Saxon” simply because they speak the English language and have influences from their Anglo Saxon conquerors. It is common sense to know that if you were conquered and ruled by a group of people that the influences of those people will be present, that is literally how colonialism works and is the very point of colonialism. Big surprise there. And yes I will agree that there are many people whose origins come from southern Europe that immigrated to all of the Americas, and the southern Europeans of prominent Mediterranean descent they are Latin. And we have typical Mediterranean features and look like Mediterranean people. Again if you can Not confidently call yourself Mediterranean then you have No cultural right to call yourself the Mediterranean term Latino/Latin. And you are right, as people who’s ancestors are solely historically responsible for the Latin culture we decide how the Latin terms which we are solely historically responsible for are used, and we use to only for actual Latin Mediterranean people, Not for indigenous Americans who were colonized by Latin European countries. The same way the Anglo Saxon English people in England are Not going to ever call all the people of the USA despite of their origins the false term Anglo Saxons simply because they were conquered and forcefully influenced by them. And also there is absolutely zero validity in how the USA or any other country that has adopted the Anglo languages misuse of the Italian/ Latin European term Latino/Latin as it is a misappropriation, mutilation and cultural R@p3 of Latin Terms in the Anglo language! There is No validity in taking a historical Latin term which comes from Italy and trying to erase and rewrite its meaning and the history and people it has which is almost 3,000 years old from Italy/ Latin Europe. Uneducated Americans who suffer from psychological cultural detachment due to having a cultural identity crisis do NOT decide how a term is used Nor decide what a term means when they factually and historically have absolutely Nothing to do with creating that term Nor the cultural identity that is associated with that term, being Latino/Latin. And to believe you have some magical ability to erase and rewrite almost 3,000 years of Latin history and the sole people historically responsible for it is completely delusional. And these delusions have been tolerated and encouraged by culturally incompetent people such as Anglo language Speakers and other uneducated countries that have foolishly adopted the false linguistic influences of the “powerful” USA’s misnomer language and misnomer terms. To pretend that indigenous Americans, mestizo Americans, pardos, Zambos, Afros etc. of south central America and Mexico are similar to Mediterranean actual Latin people is once again a delusional attempt to feel valid within the cultural identity crisis and psychological cultural detachment that those like you suffer from. Again only uneducated people and people who have absolutely nothing to do with being Latin would only encourage and tolerate this delusional form of cultural R@p3 towards us true Latin people of Mediterranean descent of prominent Latin European origins. While educated people of actual Prominent Latin descent see it as Nothing more than a false caricature and mockery towards us and our identity and the abhorrent attempts of cultural erasure towards the accomplishments of our Latino Mediterranean ancestors.

No you aren't you look whiter than most white people, you look almost literally white. You definitely haven't taken a dna test one of your parents probably told you they were hispanic and you believed that was a race, and that one parent is probably in a similar situation as Jessica here.
Jessica Alba is still mainly Latina. She is 87% LATIN EUROPEAN. Spain is a LATIN EUROPEAN country. The term 'Latin America' comes from the fact that mainly Spain and Portugal (Latin countries) colonized the continent. The Latins were a tribe from Italy and one of the early inhabitants of Rome. Their language, ethnicity and culture spread mainly through Southern Europe (Mediterranean). Therefore: Spanish, Italians, Portuguese are all LATIN PEOPLE. The French also have a big latin influence and some other Southern European/Mediterranean nations as well. Now, whether you would consider them white or not is a different story. Some people only consider white those who are of Anglo-Saxon, Germanic or Northern European genetic backgrounds. Others consider the whole of the European continent as being white (white variations). There are plenty of Spanish, Italians and Portuguese people with blue eyes and blonde hair, but there are also plenty of Spanish, Italians and Portuguese with dark eyes, dark hair and darker skin. So it's debatable. Still, they are all undeniably European, in terms of geography.
Jessica Alba is Spanish ( Latin European) from her father side also descended from ancient people of what is now America on father's side, Mother's side is English, German, French, and Danish. According to what I recall from Wikipedia.

@CrociatoAzzurro From a newspaper article on Madeleine McCann: Abdul Jamoussi, a spokesman at the Moroccan embassy in London, said: "The people of northern Morocco are often blonde-haired. Also from the article: The predominance of blondes in this African desert region might explain why so many tourists claim to have seen Madeleine. You see, blonde hair is common amongst the Riffian and Kabyle Berber peoples of North Africa. They are White Caucasian North Africans.

I pointed it out once and was called "racist", but its 100% true and not racist at all.
Jessica isn't white passing, so I understand her confusion with finding out she's mostly European. Even with blonde hair she doesn't look white. I'm dating someone hispanic that isn't a dig. @DonMiguel1810 I'm not bent on diminishing her Native American ancestry, the Dna test has done that. She has 13% Native heritage, so like I said, pushing 90% White makes her a White person. She is a European with minor Native American admixture, if she were mostly Native, I would say she was a Native American with minor European admixture, but that is not the truth. 13% is not large, if you remove 2 tires and a bumper off of a car, it's still a car right? There is your 13%. Lol.
@CrociatoAzzurro I don't believe I said most Spaniards are blonde, yes it would be a smaller percentage than Northern European countries. Most Spaniards have brown-dark brown hair. But I disagree with you about the Madeleine McCann topic, it is certainly not rare for a Berber to have blonde hair or light colored eyes, it is quite common amongst the populations of the Riffian and the Kabyle. It made the news because of the mistaken identity after the certainty that it was her. That's why.
@IslenoGutierrez Yes of course the Spanish are hispanics those are the Europeans I was talking about. It depends what definiition you are referring to. The American version of hispanic is defined as "Hispanic or Latino" as "a person of Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, South or Central American, or other Spanish culture or origin, regardless of race." These results are bad anyways. "European" counts for probably a lot of different things, because Arabs and North Africans are technically Caucasians, just brown Caucasians.

*Yes Spain means “Oh My God!”*
According to what I recall from Wikipedia.
hydrolito oh my God! She's part European and part native Indian which is a mestizo from Mexico... What makes a Mexican is half native and half Spanish blood... Learn your history people!
imemine imemine Latin is found in the English language as well 80-90% of our big words are Latin root and are the same as Spanish or any Latin based language with a slight twist at the end. But you can't expect kids educated in public schools to be taught a decent vocabulary. As far as a strictly Latin people genetically be serious. Probably 2500 years ago maybe when people were tribal. But every European country has had major conquest , migration and blending and countries as we know them today are relatively new.
rubyray777 that's so ridiculous. I'm sure Mexican don't go around taking blood sample to find if one is half Spanish half Indian. Some more this than that some pretty much all white some native American. And so forth and so on.
imemine imemine Shes 25% NONWHITE which makes her mixed race.
Lol has she ever looked at a map?? XD Spain is literally in Europe and her results at 80 something European which is where the Spain comes from.
and yet she is still a Smokin Hot PERFECT 10 !
What does that have to do with anything? I don’t disagree that she’s beautiful but you said “and yet she’s still”…meaning what?
@@brip799 after all these years and her having three children.... she is still a PERFECT 10 ! she takes very good care of herself !
@@diverdave4056 I hope you know “she” is a guy. Said so herself on video once.
@setapartremnant Stop spamming that same comment
@CrociatoAzzurro From a newspaper article on Madeleine McCann:
Abdul Jamoussi, a spokesman at the Moroccan embassy in London, said: "The people of northern Morocco are often blonde-haired.
Also from the article:
The predominance of blondes in this African desert region might explain why so many tourists claim to have seen Madeleine.
You see, blonde hair is common amongst the Riffian and Kabyle Berber peoples of North Africa. They are White Caucasian North Africans.
did you guys know that her husband is half black?? he could pass for full white tho.
Spain is OMG! Because it's in Europe, east of Portugal, south of France, north of Morocco.
The silence when they found out she was 87% European. Kind of a racist crowd lmfao 😆😆😆
Yeah, I will admit I was upset when I saw this video, when it was being read out to her she reacted like she was being diagnosed with a illness.Im proud of being white but I just hate how everyone sees white as horrible and even minorities are so happy they aren't white, they act like they aren't but it's very clear.I kinda ranted, and not all minorities think that obviously.
It's not anti-white, it's the fact that 75% of Americans are white, so having european ancestry is not very surprising or interesting.
PC.
When I was in high school, not too long ago, everytime "Latin" was discussed, it was referring to people of Central and South America.
Never in reference to the founding ethnic group of Rome, their language, or the other groups of cultures and languages that came from them like French, and Romanian.
I pointed it out once and was called "racist", but its 100% true and not racist at all.
Jessica isn't white passing, so I understand her confusion with finding out she's mostly European. Even with blonde hair she doesn't look white. I'm dating someone hispanic that isn't a dig. I'm 77.6% European, so technically Jessica is whiter than me. But I look so white my black landlord goes around telling people I'm 10% black because she thinks it's hilariously ironic. This just shows DNA tests are just for fun. They can't actually take make sense of how the world percieves you.
Her family went through it. Her Mum's side of the family cut ties with her because she started dating someone hispanic. Jessica's obviously very proud of her heritage.
Yes, DNA can be crazy sometimes, my test result is 72% European, 11% African, 10% indigenous and 7% Middle Eastern.
@Steadno Being native american is something to be proud of as well. In fact, there's nothing wrong with being any race. It just seems like the audience is prejudice in favor of blacks and hispanics only.
Yup
She's European..,.. her kids and husband are European, too. Just be happy
Her husband is part black
@@celticlilly5832 Cash Warren? No one would ever look at him and think he’s Black! No one. People are so desperate to not be called White that they’ll cling to 1% ________ to say they aren’t White. Strange when you consider that Whites are supposedly such a “privileged” group. Why wouldn’t people be excited to be part of the “privileged” group? Why are they running from it?
Reading these comments make me laugh. I can’t believe people are so pressed about someone questioning more about their dna which is not even her own fault but the education systems fault that should be teaching those things.
Olive skin tone is beautiful spanish skintone originally and her genes carried it.
Spaniards can also be very fair.
Not just Spanish. My whole family has olive skin and dark features and we’re English. Plus Spain also has fairer people
emmm, have you ever been to Spain? People from Spain are caucasians and mostly white skinned. I'm from spain and my skin is completely white. Many people from mediterranean european countries have olive skin because they had to adapt their skin to the sun, but even so, most of them are totally white as newborns. There aren't many brown skinned people in Spain, mostly are simply tanned. Besides, the north of Spain isn´t mediterranean. Jessica's skin is more brown because of her mestizo genes.
Lol.
There's so much subtle racism against Europeans on his show.
The American version of hispanic is defined as "Hispanic or Latino" as "a person of Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, South or Central American, or other Spanish culture or origin, regardless of race." The other definition which I was referring to says it has to be directly linked with Spain. Also I didnt say Native American, I just said Native
Jessica Alba: "Damn, I can't play any victim card here..".
The incessant need to be a victim and the entire “woke” agenda is literally destroying a century of progress and acceptance and is the antithesis of what it claims to be. The virtue signaling and the media’s ridiculous headlines are so intentionally divisive😢 it’s really sad and is destroying western civilization
These results are bad anyways. "European" counts for probably a lot of different things, because Arabs and North Africans are technically Caucasians, just brown Caucasians. The people of Spain are mixed with North Africans because of when Muslims were there from North Africa. Notice how none of the groups I mentioned had their own category. European is not the same as Caucasian.
She’s still talking about how hard her life was growing up as a Mexican... like stop
@Miauriceful
It's is also the name of the country of 'Scotland' in old Scottish Gaelic.
I love how no one cheers when he says '87% european'
It's not fair to watch and hear for a Spanish person, I'm south European as well... Offensive.
that was the only time they cheered….
Due to historical events 😩
@@ChrisCanomi Some people of Spanish blood in the New World don't let the Communist globalist run up on them. Thankfully they don't get suckered in to the guilt thing like too many Anglos do.

This makes sense. Her father is Mexican and Mexicans are a mix of Spaniard and Native American. Most Mexicans are more than 60% European (Spaniard). Her mother is White. She is still HALF Latina for all you haters. Latino just means a mixture, so if you mix a Latino with a White person, that is going to be mostly White. Even African Americans often times come out 20-30% White due to slavery.
Most Mexicans are actually more native than white. However, that depends on the region.
OMG she doesn’t know where Spain is!!!
She's a dumb blonde...Oh ma gawd!
Origin can be viewed as the heritage, nationality group, lineage, or country of birth of the person or the person’s ancestors before their arrival in the United States. People who identify their origin as Hispanic, Latino, or Spanish may be of any race.
Hispanic or Latino can be as any race. Spanish refers to or from Spain which is in Europe which means white.
I knew this would be a race baiting video
As a European, Spanish and Caucasian, the only Latinos I see in my country are the immigrants who come to work like Jessica Alba
I choked when he said so Farah there you go 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@googisfree lol 5%
25% "mixed" aligns with these results. @googisfree
@MangoMass77 It's her native side. Native americans are proto-asians, thats why they have asian features. She doesnt look 100% white to me either, and I am a spaniard. Anyways she is 87% white... and 13% native american, so she is mestiza, like most mexicans, but with predominance of white blood.
Man si tú vivieras en Estados Unidos .
A los españoles no se les considera blancos.
Porque tiene mezcla con Arabes y Africa.
De hecho dato interesante .
Hay más personas rubias de ojos azules en Sudamérica que en todo el Sur de Europa
She is white, period. She still claims Mexican American even though she was raised without Mexican roots and traditions.
@googisfreeshe doesn't look white at all
@@Србомбоница86she 100% looks white
@@lcorbo96 she doesn't??I am in Europe and she definitely looks mixed
@@Србомбоница86 I’m in Europe. The first time I saw her I just thought white. I’ve got family with darker skin than her. Look at all the different shades of ‘black’ that people still call black. But when someone has a tan they’re a different race?
There's an old saying in Spain "Africa begins at the Pyrenees," because the Iberian Peninsula is not part of Europe.
Does she not know Spaniards are white? The Spanish language originated from white people. Original Latin people (romans) are white. What do they teach y’all in America ?? 😂
American education is not the best education.
@1NYClove That has been addressed many times. Spain may be "European", but that doesn't mean there isn't Berber, Phoenician, Moorish, Jewish, and even African admixture (It sits above Morocco in North Africa by the way)...
She's definitely "oh my gaadd"
White is right! Stay proud Jessica✊🏻
There are many southern Europeans that look like her, southern Spaniards, southern Italians, southern Greeks, southern Portuguese.
Spaniards are extremely good looking, so no Lopez and Alba do not look Spaniard
I really can´t understand why Jessica alba answers if spain counts...of course spain counts. Her mother is 100% european and her father is probably, at least, 50% european (from spain, as she says talking about her surname). This dna test makes all the sense. It seems that some people don´t have any idea about their own roots.
and her surname means "white" :D
Viva Canarias! Viva Barcelona! Viva España! y Viva Luisiana!
First off, wow. she is the prettiest girl Ive ever seen. how can someone be so freakin perfect. secondly. she's dumb. spain IS considered white. the name alba is from spain, yes. but spain is european, not latin american. There are no natural mestizos in spain who haven't come there from latin america. the reason she's so freakin gorgeous is BECAUSE she has so much damn spanish blood. have you SEEN the spanish women? why do you think Latina's are so hot? the hot ones have high percentages of spanish blood. vergara, alba, mendez, longoria... they all have lots of spaniard blood. and they are all pretty. have you seen what native indians look like? go take a look on the internet at people in peru. you will see what they look like. they are not good looking people. spaniards on the other hand. my god. they are hot.
+tewkewl i don't think she's dumb, she just didn't know. it's a good thing that she was inquisitive, as that is the only way you learn. unfortunately, asking questions makes people assume that you're dumb (for whatever reason, i do not know).
Her Grandma Isabella Martinez was Native American and looks exactly like her you racist son of a bitch
@MangoMass77 Many berbers are pale, blond-headed, and blue eyed. Especially in the Kabyle and Riffian Berber groups. They are North African Caucasoid. Also Mediterranean looking Berbers are the norm also. Many get mistaken for Italians in neighboring countries. Some get mistaken for Germans.
Lopez is hilarious. Here you go Barbie. Lol
@IslenoGutierrez I didn't say she wasn't but most ppl who see tan skin don't automatically think European and I see her as Mexican mostly b/c she has described herself as Mexican-American. When a deeper analysis is taken you find out she has other roots. I find that most ppl look at race as a black and white issue so her reaction doesn't surprise me that's all.
Spanish people are Caucasians, they are Europeans but Spain is very close to North Africa and there might be a lot of African blood in Spain.
THE ITALIAN ARE BLACK ,DECENDING,
Not really cause you're talking Islamics from North Africa and Arab countries. They got kicked out along w Jews after the Spanish Inquisition. If they didn't convert to Catholic Church. Plus Spain has Latin roots from the Roman, Germanic roots from the Visigoths and Vandals. Celtic roots in the north of Spain. American socialist public schools teach bonehead history as if people in countries sprung up from the ground like a redwood tree and stood in the same spot. LOL
