From the Bob Florence tribute at the Catalina Bar and Grill (Hollywood) on June 15, 2008, here is the Bob Florence Limited Edition on "Auld Lang Syne".

Bob often closed his concerts with this one, so how fitting to close his tribute concert with Auld Lang Syne.
Bob Efford on baritone sax, the trombone section, the sax section soli, and the powerful emotion from the entire band. Big band jazz doesn't get ANY BETTER than this.
Bob was one of the most respected and loved leaders in Los Angeles. Every member of this band, and the audience, misses him tremendously.

Mike, thanks again for posting these great clips. The way that Bob developed a theme during the course of a tune really put his stamp on the charts and made you listen. So intense. Great bari from B. Efford, as always...along with everybody else. Wow.
