Thank you so much for posting this. I think Bob Florence is probably my favorite modern big band composer. All of his wonderful voicings, colors and instrumentation in his writing always brings a smile. Just stellar writing. And what a fantastic band with many of Florence’s original band.

So much to love about this concert. One of my favorites is Don Shelton's comment at 1:07:40, after one of the shout choruses in Carmelo's By The Freeway. I believe he's referring to the trumpet section when he says, "They're my boys!" Couldn't agree more.
