The wealdstone ground is notable for containing a listed World War II installation: a Bofors gun tower and ancillary building. Also, backing onto the other end of the ground is the former home of notorious Soviet spies, the Krogers.
Yep, and Aldershot Town's aerial photo of a worn out pitch must have been taken in the early 1970's ? Not a lot has changed since, but the old girl still creates a fantastic atmosphere during games with decent away support. All played on one of the best playing surfaces in the lower leagues. Fun fact about York’s new ground, it hosted only one game in its first season in 2021. They got it ready just before the season got called off.
