- Welcome to our full van tour! We managed to turn Custard around in about 5-6 weeks believe it or not - what a task it was! We successfully converted our Mercedes Vario 814 Van into a beautiful campervan / tiny home on wheels! All the stress, sweat and tears were totally worth it and she looks GLORIOUS!! Massive thank you to everyone that helped - we couldn't have done it without you!

Thanks so much to everyone who has watched and commented on this series - CUSTARD IS (ALMOST) COMPLETE! 😂It has been the ultimate challenge but we are so pleased with the result. We forgot to mention that she PASSED the MOT and we are on the road already. You're coming to Germany again?! Yay!!!! There's a spot in the Eifel mountain region (in the west near by Cologne). It's called "Vogelsang" which is a place full of history and it's surrounded by stunning nature. A former colleague of mine runs it but they're not well equiptet yet. A long the rhine river are a lot of beatiful spots often located directly at the river banks. There's a camping ground in the south of Bonn overlooking the islands and the mountains. I'd suggest to make your way up from Switzerland along the rhine river with lake Constance, Mittelrheintal and it's ancient castles, Loreley Mountain, Koblenz, Cochem, Burg Eltz and try some Moselriesling and see all the beatiful surroundigs then make your way to belgium via the Eifel mountains (the border goes right through it) and stop at Lake Bütgenbach. Also the city of Maastricht isn't far, it's right next to the belgian border and it's also worth visiting. The south and the west of Germany and the neighbouring countries are just stunning and I am not just saying it because I am from Cologne myself 😃 hope that helped a little
Black Forest Germany is stunning. Camping Elztalblick is a great place to base yourselves. Stunning views, great german beer!

Looks really good, I’ve worked with a few drivers who have converted old coaches and minibuses into campers and yours looks fabulous. Can I be cheeky and suggest maybe installing an emergency glass hammer next to your bed just in case of the unlikely there is a fire near your door where most of your electrics seem to be located. They’re relatively inexpensive and there was probably one in the bus when you bought it, it’s highly unlikely you’d ever need it but it could be a life saver if you did as bus and coach windows are very strong and not kicked through easily. I hope you guys have many happy travels ahead.....

I totally love what you have done with this. I could happily live in it. It's bright, it's got all the facilities you need (once you have hot water) and that bed looks comfortable
This is the most stunning bus conversion I've ever seen. Your taste in decor is impeccable. I love it all, especially the jute flooring on your stairs as you go into the bus. I also love the way you have put rope on the pole in a later video. I am building a sewing table with a beech butcher block and using white Ikea table legs and am going to pinch your idea of the rope around the table legs as I also have a beach theme going on in my sewing/music/guest bedroom. I am also redecorating my campervan here in Perth Australia and hope it turns out as beautiful as your bus thank you for the inspiration. You two rock.

I just gobled up the whole series today. Wicked fun to watch. Custard is a gem. I know her history later on. Seeing the beginning was a treat. One can never say you two are not hard workers. You rock. When Amy was learning the saws I was thinking. Well those abilities will come in handy very soon with the house. Hopefully it is not as rusty as custard was. lol :)
