Opel GT Restoration

1970 Opel GT project started Aug '08. 99% Complete November '09. Painted Hemi Orange with double the pearl. Spoiler added, lowered, header, Weber carb, new head with bigger valves, flat top pistons, Crane fireball ignition, and ISKY racing camshaft.

Good pick for a restoration. A friend of mine's parents bought him one when we were in high school. Funny, after all these years. I can't remember the friend. But I do remember the car.

I fondly remember my 70 GT back in the seventies. I had more fun fooling people with the foot-activated wiper switch. I told them there were special water sensors on the windshield that ran the wipers. And since my hands never left the steering wheel (no switches there) they believed me.
