When i take her to the track, she really shines! She always turns in the fastest times! If someone knows cars! This one is a gem in any muscle car collection!

The body work is premium work. Because black paint will show the flaws if the tin not prepared correctly!! That is a super machine! Straight line fine with drummie brakes. "Well, I saved up my pennies and I saved my dimes!!!!
She's a beauty just needs minor things. Those additional Impala emblems on the rear quarter need to go, the exhaust needs to be routed to original exit points and it may need some valve seals or retainers nothing major. Wheels are a nice touch too.
Besides the minor things i would replace that patch up gas tank beautiful machine fix the exhaust leak and adjust that carburetor Beautiful Beautiful Machine Maple Motors 😊 Hey Nick why didn't you take this one home? I know you are a camero guy but this machine had to be hard to pass up .
When the video first started I thought somebody was pecking on the bumper with a wrench. Maybe a slight exhaust leak but that sucker is bad to the Bone 🦴 4sure! I would have to put some old school Chevy wheels of some sort on their. Paint it Black chrome rings in Chrome center cap something along those lines

My first car in 1986 was a 64 impala SS. I kept it from the time I was 14 years old all the way until I was 20. Wish I had that car back.

Slow motion view, slow motion sound that’s the exhaust more than likely
The noise at idle is an exhaust leak, most likely manifold gasket. They can be problematic with headers.
Beautiful Nick fix that exhaust & carburetor and keep riding .
Collector gaskets blow out FREQUENTLY unless you get a very good quality set.
