I recently saw McCrank skate during a girl/chocolate demo at house park in Austin, Texas. If you've ever skated house, you know the triangle quarter in the corner is gnarly and even has some oververt up by the spikes. McCrank frontside aired the top and bonked the spike to fakie. Seeing him just go for it really sparked something and I have a new found respect for this guy. He's just a guy who loves skating and life in general. Cool to see a pro be such a rad guy.
I used to skate with Rick in the 90s in Vancouver and there are no words to describe how good he is live. I wish he would've had a video part that did him justice. He's also just a super nice guy. He was always exactly like he is in this video.
I want my life to be like this. To just be able to climb a tree in the middle of the day. It's the same reason why I love skateboarding. Total freedom. Fuck Wage Slavery. A job is not my life.
So I loved this Slice of Life for ever and ever. I'm here 10 years later because I just saw LCD Soundsystem with a friend and they played a song and it was driving me NUTS. I knew I had heard it somewhere. I'm not a big LCD fan so I couldn't quite place it. I'm very happy I found it cause it was driving me up a fucking wall.

oh my sweet jesus you have a turbo 2 skateboard. I had two of them when I was 6. Ended up cracking them 3 flipping at the park. Those are heavy HEAVY beasts.
