I am now forty, I remember getting my first fat board at age ten. Skating was illegal everywhere so half pipe in the back yard was the shit, but atleast three times a week we would hit the streets. Always ended with a run from the cops. The skaters today are amazing. They do tricks we would never thought were possible. I still have a board, but rarely touch it. The slams hurt alot more than they did fifteen years ago. Once a (real ) skater always a skater. It was my life and soul. I can still pull off some eighties tricks, but one fall and I put it away for a couple of months. Now I am trying to see if my 3 year old girl likes it. A girl skating was unheard of thirty years ago. I will be buried with a board!
same here although I still pop the basics after nearly 20 years away from serious skating I relieve my childhood dream of professional skating through watching todays skater's. coz a tre flip which once was staple in my bag of tricks is now a dream
Hell yea dude.. I've also been skating since ten years old (actually grew up skating with Malto. We always knew he would go pro) and am now 32 and for real man the slams are starting to be a real issue to deal with. I mainly stick to transition and curbs nowadays. You should make a goal to go out and skate with your little girl once a week or something to start out. Get back on that toy that has defined our whole lives yo! ✌
What an awesome collab. I've always loved Pedro Winter's Label and then Sean Malto's skating is superb. They both went hand and hand. Well Done Girl and Banger!
One of the best skaters to ever skate period. I'm surprised his insane 360 flip in his sponsor tape isn't talked about. He makes handrails look fun as fuck.
So dope lots of unseen footage. Maltos got style and a good trick selection. And for those wondering Malto is wearing etnies and eS because that old footage before he was on Nike.
I don't necessarily mean the steady cam/dolly shot's. But those are cool too. It's just nice to see a little change in capturing the trick is all. Like the way French Fred did the Cliche commercial with Lucas. Only like one fish eye shot & everything else was either just a polarizer lens or just an affect on the computer. Either way it's good to see it from a different eye.
i dont know how people just automatically hate the music its so intricately in tune with malto's skating thanks to french fred and his amazing editing skills, stop being such idiots and open your mind to the fact that skater parts can have all different types of music
the rail he fs crooked grind about 4.40 is in MPLS and it is so outrageously gnarly. bad ground, cracks, downhill runup, rough ass ground and it is gigantic on top of all that. All the other mpls spots he did so so stuff that has already been done and outdone by people from here but that fs crooks is epic. even the big name guys from here, davis torgerson, steve nesser, clint peterson etc... i dont think did anything on it and it is far from hidden its right in downtown about 3 blocks from the skate shop
Sean is gonna be the dude whos gonna keep getting I.D. through his thirtys at bars but end up getting more drunk and throwin down harder than most of the 20 year old ams.
They did such a good job on this edit! Malto kills it! Cant wait till his chronicles part!
👀
Genius minds think alike

I had 14 years break from skating.
Came back at 35. Best thing I ever did.
Never too late.

The Love Of Skateboarding.
that slow motion... wonderful edit dammnnmnmnmm
His style is freaking perfect!
Such an awesome skater.......editing is just perfect!
Something about Malto's grind tricks makes them so visceral to watch, like you feel his trucks lock in and grind the rail or ledge. Sick style.
I haven't seen a part this good in a while. Excellent filming and editing as well.
I went happy 9 minutes and 46 seconds thanks to you, and I will play it again and again.
What i like most from Malto is his style, doing most complicated tricks and seem easy. Thats what make skateboading beautiful.
This is, without any doubt, my favorite site video of all time!! 🛹
pretty sweet clips! Sean Malto is probably one of the best skaters I actually watch a lot
One of the best Skate vids of Malto

So dope lots of unseen footage. Maltos got style and a good trick selection. And for those wondering Malto is wearing etnies and eS because that old footage before he was on Nike.
That was actually way better than I thought it'd be
Sean has been my favorite skater sense forever
Great re-edit. Great skating. Fred rules!

The whole edit and filming are epic start to finish! Malto is 1 of fav Riders after this part 👊🏽💯
This edit is sick! Malto killed it
Where do i start? The skating, the filming, the editing, the track? Sean sure packs a freight train full of incredible skill and style....
That was truly incredible!

This edit was really different and real sick!

Sean Malto is INSANE!!!
you don't know how to appreciate good music.
why so talented....

this is just great
This was tight, even though i've seen most of it, it felt like an entirely new part
Just because he does them well doesn't mean it gets dull and repetitive for the viewer.
Anybody else come to rewatch this video randomly?
I love me some malto! Dude is just cool
ahah
I love so much malto, he is smiling all the time !
hhaah hell no, 9 minutes of malto footy is crazy. They should do more re-edits, especially for the guys that didn't get full parts
it isnt even fair.. the dude's a beast... and he's fly.. im jealous.
such good style
hes got such good style
I've wanted to see that second angle of that front crook to drop fall, and that angle of that flatbar with ty in the van!
So lucky to own a signed Sean m deck got it when he was semi - Famous . Its on my wall with all my broken decks
Sean is gonna be the dude whos gonna keep getting I.D. through his thirtys at bars but end up getting more drunk and throwin down harder than most of the 20 year old ams.
just awesome
Awesome!!!
My God! Maltos a beast!
Was riding for Etnies at the time. eS and Etnies are both under Soletech. Er, WERE.
awesome!!!
The gnar factor on the front crook to drop @ 1:25 is very high. Wouldn't want to stick on that one. I could watch him all day, this guy is tits!
Can't wait to see him on street league. Dude is so nice with it.
Best edit
awesome filming ;)
Chulada de Video :)
I'm surprised he hasn't won SLS more than he has. He's a beast on rails!
Wow, that's a really harsh slam at 7:40!
A M A Z I N G !
They been filming for pretty sweet for a long time. That was before Malto rode for Nike.
i need to come back and watch this when im stoned
He's so fiiiiiine
The way he moves, remind me a bit of Leo Romero.
***** arms, shoulders
I Love You, Sean!
damn that was sick
I think the distortion you're talking about is when they shoot on the SLRs. The Panasonics they used for the most part don't do that.
