I am not a teacher or anything but as a student in college I wish I had a teacher like u the school systems need more teacher like you just from watching your videos I can tell you actually care about your students and love teaching your student are lucky
Exactly! I am a student in Bulgaria, in the 9th grade and it's completely different in here! This looks so welcoming and hospitable, as a workspace. Both of the schools I've been at (primary and now high school) have the same "layout" - tables for all of the students, 2 students per table, a single whiteboard, behind the teacher's desk. Sometimes there are special classes, or we go to one of the few rooms, equipped with a projector (either a meetings' room or an IT room) and I'd love to have her as a teacher, doesn't really matter that I'm not in the 2nd/4th grade anymore. She's so caring, and dedicated - sadly I have had only a couple of teachers like her (out of maybe 50, during my whole "student career".

I recently discovered your channel. I am an emerging educator (credentialed 8 mos ago but long term subbing for 4 years.) I have learned so much from you in the last month. I didn’t get picked up this year for my own class and I couldn’t figure out why until I saw your advice for interviewing. It was better feedback for me than what I got from the interviewers. It was a major “A-Ha!” moment for me. I now have some concrete professional goals to work on before hiring season next year. Thank you for being so generous with your time and knowledge. Also, thank you for being such an engaging youtuber and from what I can see, educator. Your kiddos and your district are lucky to have such a dedicated teacher.

I wish our meet the teacher was early in the day like yours! Ours is usually like 4-6:30. And withvstartibg school the next day its stressful starting late to clean up the rooms so they are ready for the first day.

You did an amazing job again this year setting up! It’s a little strange the school decided to have meet the teacher in the daytime when a lot of parents work. It would have been better if they had 2 sessions. Afternoon and evening.
Thank you so much! We have a separate "Back to School night" the first week of school starting at 6:00 pm so that parents who work during the day can attend! Meet the Teacher is really just a chance to see the classroom and meet the teacher. During Back to School night we give information about curriculum and information about our grade!

This is amazing!! You inspire me to become an elementary school teacher one day! It’s been hard for me since people have been discouraging ,e because people stigmatize negatively on male elementary teachers. Do you have any tips for me on how to not be discouraged by that?
I would suggest reaching out to a male elementary teacher for advice! I'm sure they can give you some great words of wisdom!
Just my opinion for what worth....children need to learn from diverse teachers. Male, female, young and old, all races etc. It helps them become more well rounded for many reasons. GO FOR IT!!! If you can change a child's life, they won't care if you are male or female!
OneDerriction When I was in elementary school I had a male teacher and everyone in my class loved him! Sometimes being a male teacher is better! Best of luck to you!

My 4th grade year was soo crazy.We had a total of 9 substitutes the first 4 weeks. And got our first official teacher but he screamed "shut up" and broke a clip board. and he never came back the next day. We got another official teacher and she was the BEST!
