Hey, quick tip: if your using turtles, they can sometimes kill the noglin when it de mind controls them, the easy way to get around this is to Stan on top of them, they will then begin to spin and not attack

Important tip. If you play with PvE settings, be sure to turn on the friendly fire before attempting a noglin tame. You tames won't be able to hurt each other even if noglin controlled and the taming will go WAY slower.

With tek pistol in heal mode you can see the healthbar of all creatures nearby, this could be a way to find a noglin combined with the helmet visor

Karkinos give 20% too and are so easy to tame feeding them even spoiled meat
is that true? crabs are way easyer to move around and they dont stay KO for 2 hours when you throw 5 of them out with cryosickness.
@@Ratched64 I will test on official rates, it should give the same amount cause rexes in boosted server still give around 16%
@@Ratched64 I have tested it on official rates (x1 taming) and a 224 karkinos gives 15.1% to a 150 noglin, so it would need 7 of them to tame it.

Really nice video just subscribed. Do you know when the space whale spawns on this map? There is no video on it anywhere. I’ve seen it twice but i don’t know if it’s only on specific asteroid rotations or just really rare.
they spawn out in general in space, but i've noticed over time they tend to despawn along with voidwyrms, not sure why. they're decently uncommon after a dino wipe though from what i've experienced on my server
They tend to come out in force when the gem coated asteroids show up.
Great stuff. More reason to get a breeding pair of Void Wyrms

They need to be really high level voidwyrms to breed them for taming noglins. It seems that bred dinos get assigned an rng number on what % they will tame a noglin and it is less than the parents. It is better to clone the voids and as element is super easy to get cloning is super easy. Noglin taming is based off of wild/pre levels which bred dino lose that information causing issues taming the noglin. Since voids would give mroe than 20% if that was not capped high enough leveled voids could still give 20% but you will notice the taming going up slower so %per second is less. I have had high level bred voids only give 18% before and sometimes less. The good news is the number is assigned to the bred void therefore it will always give a consistent amount.
Thanks. I had some high level bred tek stegos I was going to try using and read about bred dinos not working so I thought about cloning the original 180's and this verifies that should work. I know it won't be a perfect tame but it will be better.

They go up to 190
clone one high level. I cloned a high level bronto 5 times so i wouldn't have to risk the original. have tamed 3 noglins with the clones only

This method works but there is a chance your noglin gets eaten by the voidwyrm. Cryosick the voidwyrms to keep them from flying around and attacking.

What i used is lvl 200 based level brontos meaning i didnt level them up to 200

Um excuse me sir, do you have to use a different tame when the Noglin wants to attach to something? Or can you use just the same Dino? Also just to reiterate if a Noglin is a high level, then you require a high level tames to get it yes?
Ok so first off, he can control the same creature twice but theres a cooldown, and about the levels i have no idea
There is a cool down after using each creature so its best to use 5 different one above lvl 200.
however the noglin did use the same void wyvern twice on my test

Does the just noglin fall off, tranq out with the Dino, jump off and eat it like normal or something else?
It will kill any wild Dino it jumps to. Not good for taming.
If the creature a noglins mind controlling falls unconscious, the creature instantly dies

Do you need to use an R bronto? I’m using normal ones and it’s only going up by 8% each time. Wild tamed too
Dunno if it's bugged, but giving it the first voidwyrm drops effectiveness to 55% instantly, on the first one. Voidwyrms were 155 pretame. Have no clue why. Brontos are so unreliable as they want to swing and kill the noglin after detachment 90% of the time.
People are saying that to tame them They have to tame void wyverns and that rasied or mutated ones don't work
Have you had the problem of your noglins just rapidly losing taming progress every time it detatches from the tame?
We tried for a good few hours to get a noglin with brontos but it either wouldn't bite or kept losing it's taming progress faster than we could raise it
It should normally take about 3-5 mins to lose taming bar but i didnt time it
If you play on unofficial that means the server owner doesn’t allow noglins to be tamed
does it need to be base 150 above or 150 leveled too?
How do you prevent that 1 attack when it falls off from killing it? That was an issue I was having.
You can cryosick the voids to prevent this issue. The voids wake up fast so then the noglin can feed on them and they will not fly away or attack.
Stupid question, but would bred brontos work too? Just asking because someone else said he used bred creatures to try and tame a noglin and it didn’t work right, but when he used wild tamed creatures it worked fine
This is due to bred creatures being assigned a RNG % for taming noglins since their wild/pre tame level info is dumped. The RNG is always lower than the parents. Noglins tame based on wild/pretame levels.
Sadly i dont think this works anymore... It gives the noglin 7-8%/per wyvern and thanks to that it exceeds the 5 tames good effectivness limit and it has very low effectivity.
Brontos still give 20% and they work tho.

Bro Gen 2 is the buggiest ark map ive ever played. And thats saying something random acid zones in space that hit 3k Noglins suicide when 80% tamed, Void Wyrms Ignoring damage and suiciding into acid, or just being 8x rarer than astros. Missions mostly unplayable, dc fest, Reaper queens existing in wiki form only. Mission buffs giving tiny imprint per cuddle, dinos disappearing in cryos (still), planets should cycle more randomly sulfur is most common by miles. Space creatures seem to only inhabit walls. Wyverns seem to Despawn when out of render. These only reasonable new creatures are the shadowmanes. Stryders need the broken missions.
Its a good idea that I have just tamed a pair to breed the voidwyrms

To clarify 100% no a level 705 noglin takes 7-8 level 1330+ voidwyrms to tame. Works on official beautifully though
The noglin has a 20% cap per dino. If you watch the % per second as you use different dinos high level voids is crazy fast. If there were no cap the high level void would probably get the noglin to 40 or 50% off of 1
The only problem is I have seen literally no void wyverns on my server and I have searched for 30 hours

Same here. I actually got bored of genesis part 2 and switch back to my private rag server. The environment is not even a threat😑😑. The biggest adversary is the shadowmane. The drops make grinding pointless now. I had a tek base after like 4 loot drops😆😆. Aberration was more interesting than this map. Even the missions are so boring too play.
If you can try checking the Dino count, I was searching for hours for a reaper queen until I found out there's a minimum Dino count for them to spawn
@@tobywilson4920 I have multiple reapers, I found out that the maximum amount of reapers (King+queens) must be equal to five.

Hmm isn’t mutagen super slow to grind though, it’s taking me ages to get it via space biome spawns. Just to get 1 voidwyvern. 5 makes a expensive tame.
You could get two of them then breed them (if they can I don't have a clue)

I went to space on 3x and got over 400 mutagel. The asteroids near the top have lots on them, the rest have bugger all haha

I had to take a magmasaur and use it in combo with solo farm mod emptying ambergris and you can get 2k a session on genesis 2 during the white loot crate spawn. Make sure you sure both missions that increase respawn rate and you can farm the same asteroid till 12pm

Hm for some reason the voidwyrms ended up attacking me anyway, taming% got stuck at 3.5% and by the time i had killed the now-enemy voidwyrm, taming dropped to 0 already... and the noglin started swimming and drowned xD

Could you test bred dinos? I used bred turtles but couldn’t even get the tame percentage to 10% by using only when bred turtle but when I used wild tame it got it to ten easily

@@scourgeofsaltyness I have flown around in there, a lot. But not a single voidwyvern. 100s of astrodelphins and seekers at the sides with asteroids and empty space in the middle. I've been in that space area more times than I can count on my hands and spent close to an hour a lot of those times, either hunting for voidwyvern/astrodelphis or farming resources. Are they high up? Low? In the middle where the bridges are? I really don't know why I can't see any
@@thundercptts1452 On our private server, a noglin took over my tribemate's boosted (server cap was 300 sooo) Lighting Wyvern. Then glitches and said this is mine now. Let's just say 8 deaths later and they had to admin God mode and force tame the Wyvern to get it back.

Rock Elemental give you 20 but there's a bug it hit me and I've heard of doing others where when the Noggin let's go it reverts the team back to being Wild
This supposedly happens when the dino the noglin is on gets de-rendered.
