Hey I found on a different channel a cheaper way to tame a maywing So basically make 2 billboards and place one on it getting its head stuck and then put one behind it so it can't escape I bet its cheaper than making a net
Yeah I got attacked by one next to the river with sea scorpions, u can kinda sorta fight it but the little bastard was trying to walk me into the water!
2:05 if the shadowmane keeps waking up, use a ghillie suit. You can also use the netgun on them, it forces them to go to sleep and not move around (back away from them)
Only problem is, I feel a few of the missions arent soloable, especially not past beta anyway. I dont mind spamming the same one as long as that works! :o I need my robot giant deer tool
I'v done the same races a few times but i only got the requirement for the stryder the first time i did a mission. Maybe i am doing something wrong or im just INT 1 but it doenst seem to let you do the same missions to fill the requirements sadly :(
@@cherryrook8684 ye I’ve just been going on crate runs and been finding loads of useful Dino saddle, for my pteranodon... tbh I don’t even need it cos of the ten suit but he was a high level so I thought I might aswell

If you want an early game maewing get 3 bill boards and rare flower kill all creatures in area around Mae wing including passive creatures. Make an L shape with the bill boards wait till the maewing walks on the inside of the billboards. Go to outside corner and eat the rare flower it will rage at you trapping itself in the corner. Once the effect wears off run round the back of it and place the last billboard to make a triangle. It can't fly away or escape so tranq it out and your done

Just something to note for you, this map is devoid of bee spawns in official. It's stated on the fan site and they likely heard it from the dev team. I'm a bit of a bee fanatic so when I heard this I was debating not going. To my knowledge there is only one way to get bee honey on this map and it's drops. There are no bees
I've not seen a single bee hive on the server I play on, in fact have a SS transmitter and no queen bees show up at all on the map, have WC screwed bee hives up again? wouldn't surprise me
Don't know if this is true or tested, but according to the awesome spyglass hud you can also use Extraordinary Kibble on the Shadowmanes as opposed to the fish baskets. Will probably try and test it on them with a full ghillie suit so they won't wake up.
Ok, for the shadowmane, what did you do to keep it from aggroing on you after you fed it? I've been at it since launch and can't get them to not attack me.

The Maewing will take ANY kibble and not lose effectiveness. I've tamed them with Basic Kibble and with Regular Kibble without losing any effectiveness.
Incase you ever need a video idea there’s a chance when maewings breed that they drop a slightly diffrent egg called “superior maewing egg” I don’t know if it applies to other dinos but could be interesting

Do they disappear after attacking you? I tried to figure out where it went after it finally let me go and it seems to have just completely disappeared

2x2 trap with hatch floor so you can tame from underneath safely

I think there’s another problem ik tsk Dino gates aren’t insane but I found one in a supply crate (gen 2 btw) is this meant to happen 😂

Just note that the stryders can’t be cryopodded at least not that I know of.
They can be picked by a skiff though

When going to the space biome. I recommend using the vents high up on the walls there are lots of them so it's safer and more discrete

With shadowmane .. you NEED to use ghillie ... or it is extremely recommended.. also you need to feed it from behind not from front

Noglin are scary. Once they steal a tame its gone. Lost a few tames getting suprised by them
Noglins do also, very rarely p, spawn in the Rockwell’s garden tek trench. It is much easier to find them in the innards tho.

Quick tip if anyone didn’t know about the astrodelphis, if u have a tek skiff u can use the gravity beam to hold it and tame it while it’s grabbed.
