If you're planning on visiting Barcelona city, make sure you know these tips on how not to p*ss off the locals!!
Yes , yes and yessss ! Totally agree with the rules . Thanks for telling to everyone , Valerie . I love Barcelona and the kind and well mannered locals . And it gets me angry when Tourist act inappropriate. Greetings from London ( here we’ve lost the fight about manners already. And I am not talking about tourist only) .😑
I though England was one of the most well educated country in Europe 😱😱😱
@@PickaPictourlady’s and gentlemen right ? It’s true . There is still a lot politeness and consideration. But unfortunately also a lot noise due smart phones ( especially in busses and trains ) . Or :
I wouldn’t eat chicken wings in the tube for example. Don’t get me wrong I love London too . But we need some strikter rules . Last time I went to Barcelona I was amazed about how clean it is compare to London.
Trust me, Barcelona is also full of obnoxious people, tourists or otherwise. Then again, that's likely true of every city.
I agree with you! As a tourist who has visited many times Barcelona, these are things that bother me too! and I have always tried to be mindful to be respectful but to be honest I have always found that these rule breakers are not just unfortunately tourists but also residents. I stayed many times in Barcelonetta and the beach area, early in the morning was honestly a horror show! Hats off to the army of cleaners who, every single day, have to deal with such a mess.

People who visit respectfully are what every place needs. As someone from Barcelona, thanks for being that person. 🙏🏻
@@ghoulwiz It's my pleasure 😊
that glovo guy that ran the light was more likely local
Indeed! They are the worst 🙈
He was a local Pakistani working to pay off his smuggler.
Been cycling in spain for a year. I do not see locals obeying the traffic lights they definitely don't follow them on foot. also see locals riding on the footpath all the time. also there's always people going the wrong direction in the single bikelane on my morning commutes
🙈🙈 old people hate us, locals and tourists we are alike.
I haven't been to Barcelona , but thanks for the warning 😁
🤣🤣🤣🤣 you're welcome!
Thank you so much for the advice.
😬😬 thank you for watching!
Buenísimas recomendaciones!!!
😅😅
Smoke, not esmoke Beach, not veach.
Noted!
I lived Barcelona for two years and I don't completely agree with number 11. I think most Catalans do consider themselves Spanish at the end of the day - it's just that many people are not proud of it. Kinda like the Scots when it comes to being British.
Also, in my experience, it's perfectly fine to cheer for Spain in football. I mean, the Spanish national team even played a match in Barcelona two years ago and they got a pretty good crowd. Sure, people are not as patriotic in Barcelona as in they are Madrid, Valencia or Seville, but supporting Spain is definitely not frowned upon and it is possible to find bars where a lot of people are supporting Spain. Especially if Spain are playing in the final of a major football tournament!
When Spain won the World Cup, Barcelona was in silence 😱
What??? Madrid better than BCN? You’re kidding me. Barcelona is thr best city in the world!!!
😅😅😅
Plenty of locals at my neighborhood’s mcdonald’s in Barcelona haha 😛
I would say young people!
what if I say "bon dia" in Catalán in some places? They will accept it?
Of course!
You'll likely win the heart of any Catalan if you show appreciation for their language
Gracias por explicar la cultura de Barcelona.
I'm not sure if I would be frowned upon by Catalans or Spaniards if I mention I don't like football? 🤔
🤣 as long as you don't say you support Madrid in Barcelona and viceversa
Curious, when Spaniards come to Japan they mostly do all these things...
You should do a video 😅
@@PickaPictourI love my Spaniards friends , their Jamon, and that they do not fear speaking loudly in the train. But maybe people from Barcelona are different. Love from Japan
Most of these are common sense, which is sadly in low supply these days… don’t be that guy!
