For spring fishing generally choose a river that’s had or has spring fish in it,,lived and fished in Ayrshire for 40 years and never ever heard of anyone getting a fish in feb or march out the ayr
Aye always good to get out I fished the girvan for years if you can get on at blairqhan they get fish in April on well kept secret the fish stop there first

you can get a day ticket in the Annbank shop for 25 quid. That allows you to fish for Salmon Catch and release. you can also fish for Brown trout and Grayling. Hope that helps

@@Gamefishing111 there should be the odd fish running. Later in the year is better for sure. Just nice to be out though to be fair
