The Amazon filter does fit. You need to take the cover under the glove compartment apart and the filter fits perfectly. There’s even tools that came with the filters.
Best instruction on cabin air filter changeout. You took apart only the necessary with fastener count and detailed demo how to put it all back together. Great Job!!! Thanks
Thank you so much for this video. I just picked up a 2023 M3 and when I opened the frunk rear panel, I also noticed the big hole with no screen or filter. I was wondering about that if there was suppose to be something there. This video answered my question. Thanks.
That filter under the hood is highly NOT recommended... it causes a severe amount of air restriction... made my blower have a burning smell. You’re better off with the leave guard instead.
Oh geez I just installed one of those and didn't think of it affecting the blower motor. Maybe I should take it out. Did you use your blower on high often or did it have a burning smell from being on low?
Those under hood filters get soaked when it rains/ car wash. The leaf guard is good but not needed. There is a screen on the air assembly further downstream, you just can't see it
Hi. it is weird that the first filter didn't fit since I have been watching some videos, model3 /Y where it fit nicely, especially the XTechnor from Amazon
Literally the hardest part is putting the speaker and light back up in there but almost no UA-camr records that part, including this one. There are two notches on the cover. You slide into the left side first but how do you slide the notch into the right one?

You literally saved me the headache having to return a filter, adding the right item in the cart and subscribed!
Glad to help! Gl with the install!
Your friend/tech is really cool and knowledgeable!
Can’t wait to do another video!
The first filter actual fits, you just have to position it correctly so it slides down properly. No force required.
wups! lol
Man ur friend is a gem
The best

Those aren’t duds btw you have to get the bottom filter at a weird angle
Wow thanks for this video and your friend!!!
Worked out beautifully! Are you going to try?

Or maybe jus a plastic guard that doesn’t block air flow
@@DennisCW absolutely! I got the leaf guard and it’s excellent! Great videos!
Love it

Yea , I mean - it probably would of fit with some force but YMMV
I agree. Our XTechnors fit for our 2021 Model 3 LR just fine. Unless the Performance model filters are different??
When it gets wet MOLD comes next.
100%
The Tesla filters are supposedly made by Purolator. The Purolator filters are available on Amazon for cheaper. Both are made in Germany.
The cabin filter you listed your link is not the one you installed it’s showing a black plastic one??
Always clean your evaporator coils while changing the cabin filter. Other videos show how to do that.
The obligatory slow mo shots sure do add some pizzazz to the videos, don’t they? Haha! Thanks for the vid!
Thanks! Need MOAR
My amazon filter fit fine
lucky you
Mann-Filter FP 25 015 fits Model 3 perfectly, and it's Made in Germany, for EU folks watching this channel. Of course you need to order 2.
Nice!
Just did it for the first time took a long time to get that damn screw specially if you’re using a little like I did😂 2/10 difficulty
I have a 2022, Tesla changed the position of the screw from the top to the bottom, making it much easier.
Will intake filters will restrict the airflow to the AC coil? Is this bad for the AC?
She had the black filter upside down/ wrong side forward - you put the black side facing forward.
The black air filter solved the vinegar smells I kept having from the Tesla cabin filters.
Ouf
Bought my filters from Amazon. Snug fit due to the foam on the sides.
nice!
WHAT IS YOUR CAR YEAR MODEL ???
This was a 2019 Model 3!

Why would someone pay you for shipping for filters that don't fit lol😂
Why’s this video so fuckin long christ
