I was there and this was on of the coolest moments I have ever had at a concert! The timing couldn’t have been more perfect! And the rainbow after made it so much more amazing!

I was at this concert as well. It was probably one of the best concerts I've ever been to. I had seen Weezer back in 2005 at the First Grant Park Lallapaloosa. I had seen Green Day back in 1994 when Dookie was first released at a concert in Cleveland for $5. First time seeing Fallout Boy and I was impressed. I wonder if the Weezer people in the background have that Apple app open monitoring the weather that gives live minute by minute updates on when the rain will start and told the band. "It's time, play Africa".
Took my wife for our 3rd year anniversary. All 4 bands played amazing, but weezer took the crown that night. PS: had to throw my sneakers away after this show. If you were there you know y
It's actually the complete opposite of irony, because it was fitting for the situation and not contrary. But I agree it was totally worth getting soaked.
They drop the key on this or perhaps should’ve? GREAT respect showed in performing a song that was written and recorded by some of the best musicians, TOTO!! 🙏🏼
I was at this concert and as soon as he said “i bless the rains down in africa!” It started showering. Couldnt have been more perfect. Also at this concert he forgot the words at some point to a song. Made the audience kinda chuckle

I was there to Chelsey I was in the back row on the field it was a down pour and I soaked but was diffenlty werth it the hella maga tour was amazing.
