- Single mother of two that would love to share her journey to others to potentially help other single parents out. Low income apartment tour. I just recently got this apartment last month and very blessed and thankful because God blessed me and my babies with this apartment 2 weeks before Christmas. By the way my apartment is located in a really nice area.

Im a new subscriber me and my 10m girl and 2year old boy just got in a low income apartment I was on the waitlist for a 3 but a 2 was available I took it and we do not know what the inside looks like yet but this gives me hope .. we been homeless since March stayin in hotels and couch hoppin , thanks for making this video

Congratulations! I remember my first apartment was low income with my daughter! This really took me back! That's been more than 32 years ago! I can tell you enjoy all of your moments with your babies! I have gotten married, owned a home, sold it and and lived in a nice apartment paying rent. I know I was proud of it, yet that price, tho! 😂😂😂 Then my husband and I bought another home in 2021, newly built, praise God! I am so proud of you! . Keep taking that time to smell the flowers, and God bless you! You are on your way!

For your closet that is open without a door. You can get a shower pole and extend it across to hang a curtain or 2 across it so no one can see what's in it.
Maybe you can use shower robs to put up in the closet and put curtains on them to hide the clothes
I did this because the sliding closet doors were always falling off the track. No more problems

I like the the idea that someone said to get shower curtain rods and then hang curtains on them (they could match the curtains on your windows in each room for continuity 😊

You can easily by 3 rods and 3 sets of sheers and you’ll have a divided space in all 3rooms. Make your space warm and comfortable for you and your kids. 😊
Hey darling, just get you a flexible sliding door mounted. They sell them at Home Depot or lowes Easy fix. Sweet place for you and your children 🌹

You can go to home depot buy you some accodian doors in same color has the walls. They come with track an all easy to put up for all the closets. Sn they wont say nothing at apts bc they are very removable when or if you move
That’s a great idea as well! I definitely wasn’t thinking to go to Home Depot to see if they had anything like that but that definitely makes a lot of sense now. I think the people that stayed here before me did that as well because it’s like little holes in the ceiling and I was wondering what they had used. Thank you so much 😊

@@Csparkleyes my x had a rental house an the family that lived in it 8 yrs fought a lot so every closet door was messed up with holes bc they are hollow. So as we were getting it back together we were at home Depot looking into closet doors. An came across the accordion ones they have them in all sizes even for closet doors your size in your bedrooms or your little nook area in the kitchen where you sat your trash can and they are able to be took down that good part or you could leave them up for duration good luck to you sweety

It's great that the government tore down the project's, and gave the poor modern townhomes and apartments.
It’s still a lot of projects that still exist today. I wouldn’t consider myself to be poor.. being poor is a mindset… some people take advantage of things that’s in place so they can use those benefits so they can have more to profit from when they kids become adults. But may God continue to bless you!

I actually haven’t been doing hair lately been focusing on trying to establish me a real business that’s bringing in me income. So that I can go back to school in finishing getting my barbers license. I was a fulltime barber student but I put school on hold for life reasons then I had started working delivering groceries which I had opened me up a LLC a couple of years ago that I was going to link with what I was doing delivering groceries. But I had got into a car accident and lost my car which I’m working with an attorney on that…. I never said anything about a restaurant but have always wanted to open a food truck business before people started popping up with the food truck … so to sum it up for you whatever income that I do start back making that’s on paper I would have to… and thank you much love and blessings to you as well. ❤️

You can put curtains up in front of all of the closets so that they can be more private and if I were you I will keep that shower curtain in your room and put one that looks unisex and the other bathroom since you have a girl and a boy

Congratulations 🎉you can get a rod with a curtain to cover the closets it can match their & your rooms decor: to easy. I did the same to separate my barracks room from my roommate back in 2003. For more space in your dining area, turn your table length the other way, and you will have a little extra space to set up your area. You may want to separate it with a divider. Best wishes.

Its definitely not just black people that live in my apartment complex actually the people that stay across from me is white not to talk on the terms of our color but the area I live in is a beautiful area and it’s a mixture of people. I honestly made this video because I have always said that I would never live in a income based apartment but I always told myself that because of I thought that apartments like that were in a ratchet community with ridiculous people but in reality there are some great income based apartments in a just wanted to share with other people that’s trying to figure out life. I’m a single mother of two and I needed someone to guide me in the right direction it took a while but it was because I didn’t know but the time I spent with God praying for help he guided me to my apartment. And I just want to be able to share and help the next person. Because not everyone has a roof over there head it’s not because they don’t want the responsibility it’s just because they don’t know where to start. But you continue to be great and stay blessed!
