One dollar fifty Nine cents. Digging this knife very much. Anyone that knows me knows that I am a huge Kizer Fan. Before Kizer I was digging Kubey around 2018, some of the older KU and KB models are amazing. But yeah, Kubey has really stepped up in 2023 with better heat treats and amazing designs. I just got in 3 Kubey's last week - Hyperion (simular to the Tityus, but beefier) Timberwolf (a budget knife only in cost, action is amazing) and a murdered out Verijero. All of these are truly amazing actions, quality fit and finish and the price is right.
Beefier than a Tityius? Damn. I have the Verijero and agree.
Glad you explained they are using cryo treat on some steels now. I did not know that. Definitely gets me more interested in the brand.
I have a Kubey Interflow with black Ti and M390 and it's a great knife. Kubey is stepping up there game.
I love Kubey! I have 4 or their titanium knives (Atlas, Titius, Nova, Barracuda). Everyone of them has action, fit and finish worth more than what I paid for them. Not a single screw besides T8 on all of them, even the pocket clips! The Barracuda in S30V is my favorite. Their S30V cuts longer than most companies, and the action is so ridiculously smooth/hydraulic. It is on all of them, but the Barracuda is special. Best front flipper I’ve ever used, too (don’t worry Militaw, I still like you better overall 😅)
I like Kubey, but after they screwed me over on my Wrath preorder, I will not purchase anything directly from them. I'll wait for it to show up at White Mountain or another retailer I trust.
I ordered a Dust Devil from Kubey a while back and still haven't gotten tracking. This is my last time.
Kubey, like Kizer, are absolute value leaders... But I only buy them when they go 50% off, they've trained me... If TwoSun would modernize their business model, they would be a three headed monster

What impresses me the most is the rockwell target at that pricepoint..you can find other knives in this range with those materials, but few companies actually deliver that consistently sub $200🍻
From a random "throwaway" knife in a mystery box to this stuff... My onramp with Kubey has been short and sweet. Good stuff!

Not sure how I feel about that engraving pattern- at least I'd like the "puzzle pieces" to go all the way to the end of the handle. Also, while we're getting the blind screwed clip, could we also get the lockbar relief cuts on the inside please? I know, I'm being hella picky for the price, but there's no reason why cuts on the inside would add to cost and it cleans up the clip side and prevents pocket abrasion.
@@jonathanklein7875 I was actually thinking it would be cool if it was frag patterned on the flat unmilled portion of the scales, and reversing the lockbar relief cuts would be cool too

with pieces as good as this one... neither can I haha - although sadly the quality of Chinese manufacturing has outstripped American made knives en masse long ago, I'm still an avid USA made knife enthusiast as well
Welcome to the 2020s. There are some China made knives that blow the doors off some established, high-priced American brands, in terms price AND quality.
I’m definitely out of date...
I followed China’s manufacturing from around 2012 to 2018...today’s price’s just surprised me...
As soon as I hear American made .... Sadly i question quality. After watching the Boeing insiders telling us how employees were selling and buying drugs off each other and so many being on. Antidepressants.... I am very weary with cause.
