Decent sounding drum, but no more exceptional than 1000's of others I've heard at 1/2 the price with triple flanged hoops...

I just think that wood hoops like these on any snare is esthetically unappealing , and i do not find them practical..It is however, a beautiful drum shell, and Ron Dunnett makes great snares anyway, so there you have it..
