Looks like a great build. Have you considered hard mounting a roof top tent with passthrough from the back of the bed, like a Alucab or Go Fast Camper? Would give you a sleeping area, and youd keep the interior area for another person OR more storage area.
That’s actually such a good idea. I hadn’t thought of that! Then move my solar panels on top of that. Only thing I’m worried about is becoming more top heavy.
@@JRCadventures ya it would increase your center of gravity a little , but shouldnt be too bad considering some of the systems ppl run. but ya there are wedge tents that have bars on them for solar panels. youd just need to custom mount it and create a passthrough. Ive seen alot of custom builds but love how your sides and all open up far more.
Hi Josh. Unreal vid. So simple with fantastic description. Just starting my own full canopy build. Thanks for your inspirational ideas.
Thanks Scott! Appreciate you watching and flicking through a comment. You'll have to send through a photo of your build once its done.
Love the 75 mate, got a 1996 75 myself, just starting to do up some canopy designs myself. This vid provided some great ideas, keep it up
Thanks so much for watching it. I really appreciate that and the comment

@@AudiaciousLife You've given me a lot of homework to do haha
@@JRCadventures lol do it, I'm just living vicariously through you for now
Hi Josh. Seems like Bunnings only sells Formply in 17mm not 12mm. Is it possible yours is actually all in 17 mm ?
Ah I actually had this same trouble too. Around my area (Brisbane) there was only one Bunnings who actually had it. What can you fit in yours?
Bigger is better if you can fit it
@@JRCadventures just got some structural ply 12 and 17mm today from local hardware store. Starting cutting this arvo.
Some people are building with 3/4” which is 19mm. Too much weight I reckon
@@scottm3055 Yeah Im with you mate! Good luck with it all. Keen to see it
Hiya, whats the roof rack on the rig.
Hey - it's from OCAM called the flat rack. Super cheap and easy to fit. One of my previous videos has the fitment and more details of it :)
@JRCadventures hi thanks for that, I have been looking through all you vids looking for that but couldn't find it
@@Steve-cd4wo it’s on the “Too many LED Lights” video. Episode 10 I believe. No worries at all.
