I've lived in a Mobil home for several years and am quite happy with it. An awful lot of negative people on here. I live in Florida where half the state lives in a Mobil home. I'm sure this will make a fine home for whoever buys it.
It's beautiful inside I was raised up in a trailer from the age of 8- til just just 7yrs ago at the age of 30 when we moved back into a beautiful home and I have to say I'm glad I was raised up in a trailer and not an apartment but I don't miss the trailer one bit and hope I never have to live in one ever again I love living in a house way better.
People still don’t seem to understand that Modular Homes are the same as stick built homes. They increase in value unlike mobile homes that decrease in value.
Here in Central Texas , one can buy a 2,400 sq. ft. custom built stone & brick 3 bedroom, 2 baths, 2 car garage Site built home brand new for $ 189, 000 . 00 !!!
Wow I have never seen one of these that wide , first and foremost though the center piece for this home is that "Star" on the glass of the front door - Bam ! Only other Texas moniker needed is a garden statue of Earl Campbell - The Tyler Rose, man I'm getting goosebumps.

strange flow of the home. I don't like company coming in the front door and BOOM there's the kitchen! Also I don't ever like company going into or through a bedroom to the guest bathroom. Also, a Walk-In closet is where you actually can WALK IN the closet. a couple of those closets were good sized but NOT actual Walk In closets. smh.
That's just what I was thinking! Two of those closets were plain old reach-ins, not walk-ins. I also do not like this new tradition of the master closet being in the bathroom. Uh-uhn! Give me a separate closet from the master bath. Lastly, that house still had the look of a mobile home - the ceilings, the trim work, the master shower, the bathroom sinks. For that kinda money, it at least needs to be a modular, not a faux modular.
I like this home. To clarify, there are mobile homes and manufactured homes and they are very different. This is manufactured and they are actually very well built. I still agree it is overpriced and one of the downsides. Sellers do not negotiate much and by the time you add land, hook up to utilities (especially a water/sewer source, it loses appeal.
Do Right I lived in mine for 30 years before I moved. It was in better shape when I moved out than when I bought it. It is like any home. If it is properly maintained, it will last. Mine was inexpensive yet had 2x6 construction. As long as the bones are good, it will last.
@@tommytruth7595 you can upgrade any of the items that you want to. Just like most stick built homes come with builder grade cabinets and fixtures unless you specifically ask to upgrade.
The bad thing about these type homes is the extra expense of pouring a slab for it to sit on. If not sitting on a slab settling can become a problem over time. Too high for all the extra expenses required for setting it up.
That's not true. I have lived in modular housing most of my life and they have a regular crawl space foundation just like a stick built home. Have never had a foundation problem. However, I have know people with stick built basement foundations that have had a myriad of problems. 🤷♀️
@@JentasticVintage26 I totally agree with you. Most all of my family members in Va lives in modulars & none of them has ever had any problems with foundation. Very beautiful home. Awesome layout. These homes are no longer affordable, as they use to be. Now, they're very expensive, the price of a brand new built home.
Insane price. I can buy a real house (single family site built home) this size or larger for less money, here in California! crazy. Strange flow of rooms. Sorry, I'm sure it's well built for a mobile home but ... good grief. I live in a beautiful country club currently. Spa bathroom, Asian style with granite kitchen countertops and wood floors throughout. I can (and did) buy a condo here in this club for around 40k and enjoy luxury swimming pools, large beautiful golf course, club house with 4 star chef, beautiful lounge overlooking amazing mountainous views, and even an Inn here inside the club for guests. I can buy a real house for less money than this mobile home that has no garage, and no land of it's own. one would have to purchase land on top of the 200k /189k sales price. I'm sorry but I think your going to have to do better than that.

These modular homes I have seen are built better than the usual house some are speaking of. I was shocked when I saw the inside unfinished. It isn't a mobile home. Manufactured and modular are built to be transported in pieces to the property location of the buyer.
You all do know you can get them customed made with sheetrock walls and granite counter tops, whatever flooring you want, kitchen and bathroom fixtures. I am seeing this 3 yrs after posted and couldn't believe he was calling those closets large walk ins. Agree with the others post about the matter. Maybe you should have said step in closets.
I live in a 18 yr old 80 ft. and 2300 square ft manufactured home. It's nice to see a new one with upgrades. But I consider the price far too high. For nearly $200k you might as well get a stick built single family home, that is not manufactured. Beautiful home though. Smoke alarm needs a battery before next filming. Thanks.
One thing I have noticed about these mobile/modular homes is that the lay outs are not great! They waste to much space with second living rooms or dumb extra rooms or huge closets when you can use that space to make the rooms more larger
Kellie Brogan I agree, the master bath could be better utilized by getting rid of that dumb tub. If you want a bath so bad there's 2 other tubs in the house. I'd rather use that area for extra closet space and a bigger shower.
OK where do I start... First, I knew you didn't close that front door. You could hear the traffic. Next, the carpeting was a no go for me. Then the layout of the kitchen was messed up. Oh and let's not forget the ugly faux stone on the fireplace and bar. Then that ripple in the kitchen floor caused me pause. And those little rooms with step in closets, not walk in closets.
