I love this. Not only how the main body is more dynamic than the original, but also, I really like how you chose to end it. It ends as melancholy as it started, feeling slower and softer...which actually works because of the lore: Proto Man is dying. While it's more stable than his original solar reactor, the atomic reactor inside him is still slowly failing. Thus, the song ends in a soft, melancholy manner, almost as if mourning his eventual demise.
no he starts with a solar core it was just faulty in were it slowly started to hold less and less of a charge and if he used too much energy at once he would receive an overload shocking him. also WRONG!, his atomic core is not stable, if it were damaged or UN-maintained it would fucking explode taking out everyone in a 100 mile radius.
JEEZ, that was NOT how I was expecting it to kick into the main chorus. DAMN! VERY nice use of the VRC6 channels. they can sometimes overbear, but you used them wonderfully for chord progression and harmony while keeping the focus on the MMC5 pulses.
This remix version sounds much happier, and in my opinion more fitting as part of the ending for Mega Man 3, compared to the original Proto Man Theme. Good Job!

I love this, and the fact that it sounds like a battle theme makes me kinda want to learn how to mod games so I can put stuff like this in, say, Mega Man 3's Break Man fight, or Mega Man 5's Proto Castle, or Mega Man 7's secret Proto Man duel for the Proto Shield. I see so much potential here!!

Others hear it as an ending.... I hear it as a beginning, One my my friends is making another campaign mode for Megaman 8 bit deathmatch, and literally one of the first maps was the protoman arena in stage form, using this song. Get ready for an Encore people....
As much as I love this theme, the actual opening misses the iconic whistle. The rest of it is perfectly fine, but you can't have Proto Man without the whistle. 8/10.
