    Me and my husband are really enjoying your channel. We just discovered it, and the reason we like it is because it’s not a fake channel like so many Alaskan living channels are. Thank you for keeping your channel real. Looking forward to watching all your videos.

    Hi from Dave in North Pole, AK. I want to congratulate your whole family as you all work together toward building your homestead. Lily, if I ever have a grand daughter, I hope she is just like you! Stay safe and may God bless you all. Dave

      Thanks for your support Dave! Yes Lily is a hard worker for 12 yrs old... I am just thankful she enjoys learning with me.
      She has no phone and doesn't game.
      I think that helps her engage in learning new things..." real" things! Lol.

    I thought about my grandma when you hung the shirts. She had a very strict way of hanging laundry to ensure it dried with the lease ironing needed. ❤🎉

    Your greenhouse is looking good. Those tomato hornworm are creepy & will destroy a plant in no time! I clip them in half & feed them to the lizards 🦎 🤣 Lily is gonna be a master gardener before to long! We had a dog like your when I was growing up, he was our duck hunting dog. See ya next time 😊

    Another good video! Looks like your well has good pressure. After you have the ag land cleared is there a stipulation on it's usage?

    • @Alaskan6pack
      @Alaskan6pack  4 місяці тому

      Thank you! So the crazy thing on the agriculture " patent" that we have to meet is...once the state signs off , you can then purchase the land if you choose and they really don't check up on you again. I found that interesting.
      We will probably apply for the hoop house program through FSA and if that goes through they DO check in for up to 5 yrs or so...to make sure you are doing as promised...
      Either way we are very committed to growing our food so we know it's
      " actually " food! ....lol

    Just a suggestion when hanging up the shirt on the clothesline. Take the shirt, hang from the bottom and clothespin at the side seams. Less wrinkles too
