Pam and Steph love watching your video. WOW that's a lot of pecans. You will be busy. Love your WIP's and haul you received from your retreat and goodies. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind. God bless Pat
Sounds like you had a wonderful time in NH! I'm only a little jealous of that beautiful drive. Congrats on your finished ornament, Steph! Pam, the Betsy Ross piece is coming along quite beautifully - so many details I would have never understood, so thanks for the mini history lesson :) Hope you had a great time with your Crockpot Crew! Off to watch your next episode now 🤭
Hi Ladies! The turkey exchange was adorable, and what a great idea. I was at Hobby House this past weekend. I definitely did some stash collection 😆. David and Kathy are amazing!
When you mentioned having not heard of Tabby Cat Fabrics you bought at Hobby House I smiled cause I knew why. Those of us that watch Nicole Parkman from the UK and owns Hands Across The Sea. She mentions them frequently in her videos as they are one of her favorites fabric dyers. Also she just had a retreat at Hobby House which was just before your visit. Love your videos and have watched every one!
Hello lady’s another great video from u Gals. Enjoyed hear about ur trip to New Hampshire. Not far from where I live. (Maine). I love ur ballon project I think it will look great as a pillow and ur idea of putting 2022 on back is awesome. U gals r so funny and entertaining.
The stitchy retreat in NH sounds like heaven!! Pam thank you so muchnfor sharing all of your history knowledge. I look forward to learning something every week ! Ladies have a great weekend...see you Sunday ❤️
Glad you had fun at your retreat. I kept looking for you on Sunday and then remembered that you were at a retreat. Love your finish Steph! I can't wait to see your Betsy Ross pattern when it is complete Pam. I love anything patriotic.
Hi! This is my first time watching your Flosstube! It was so fun and kept me company while I stitched. I so appreciated Pam’s detailed description of Plum Street’s “A New Constellation”! I don’t have a LNS, so it’s not easy to learn the details of certain charts. I’m not much in to patriotic stitching, so have just overlooked this chart. But when Pam have all the HISTORY that is included in the chart - that peaked my interest. So now I’ve added it to my “Add to Stash” list. Thank you!!
Pamela, your Maine accent was really popping out when talking about the retreat at the farm. Love it!!!!! Susan (of the Old Man and....) is a friend of mine, she is a hoot! Unfortunately life, and teaching, has gotten in the way of meeting up with her. It is always nut season!
I was fortunate to go to a retreat at the Stitchery Nook in July where those 3 Waxing Moon Designs ornaments were introduced & were our retreat project. Liz gave us a finishing class and they are beautiful. I look forward to seeing yours Pam! Loved your recap of your retreat and stop at Hobby House. That shop is on my bucket list of shops. Come to Iowa sometime and retreat with us in Osage! Just be sure to let me know you are coming!!
Hello! I see a Unicorn piece that I must watch for. The Bucilla Sampler kit is one that escaped me years ago on EBay. I truly enjoy watching you both. My needlework world grows with inspiration daily. Thank you! 💐💕
I am so glad your recipient from the smalls exchanged loved her Mr Gobbles the turkey :) Was fun to hear your account of the gift exchange! Greetings from Australia, Rachel - 🦃 designer
🙋♀️I missed you Pam and Steph and everyone at the retreat!💕 Wish I could have been there.😒 Congrats on your finihes🛎👏 Campbell's dolls so cute! Yes candy your nuts. 😂 Have a great weekend! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Love the chart you started at the retreat, Stephanie. Pam, that Betsy Ross…wow! Thanks for the history. It was great to see you both again. I love the smalls exchange you gave and received. Mine was the one that Jane from BosStitchers brought. :) You got some great charts and kits from the freebie table. I got the Waxing Moon chart in the mail a couple of days ago. Didn’t know about the kit so I’m going to call today. Have a great weekend! We have remnants of Hurricane Nicole on the way…great excuse for getting cozy with my stitching (not that I need one).
Welcome home! It's the time of year for putting the electric throw in your lap and settling in for some long term stitching. I'm so glad that I lived long enough that designers no longer feel the necessity of making 30-40% of their patterns be backstitching. Absolutely loved the Betsy Ross history. I adore it when Pam puts on her Librarian hat. I LOVE that you buy wine based on the cute label!! When I go to the horse races, I always bet based on the name of the horse, and how likely they are (based one their name) to be featured in a vampire romance novel.
So glad that you had a great time at the farm retreat, sounds like so much fun to experience that type of environment with all the animals. I very much enjoyed seeing your wips of the week. I love your finished Santa hot air balloon ornament, Steph, so cute!
Fun one and love seeing you all between all your trips! Staying unplugged once in a while for a little while is always a good thing glad you’re home safe. Christmas is coming and all things colder is finally here! Here in Texas it seems to take it so much longer to get colder and I’m still not used to how long it takes to cool down here! Born in Mi in August of 1965 then moved to Texas in June 1992 and now it’s 2022! Ok Steph story problem for you. Which state have I lived in longer! Haha Cuz Math! Lol 😂 😉 Happy fall y’all and just keep stitchin! 👋👍😂
It was so lovely meeting you! Steph, thanks for letting me fan over you at the farm. Wishing you a stitch-filled, cozy holiday season. With love from Oklahoma
Fascinating hearing about Betsy Ross! I feel like there’s hope for me!! I’ve been married twice myself hopefully 3rd time will be a charm but I need to find a stitcher!!!
So the Irish Angels at Your Door, that blessing was the blessing at my wedding. Brian & I had a huge Irish themed (St. Patty's Day weekend 2002) wedding and his uncle picked that as the perfect Irish Blessing for us.
Your hot air balloon is very pretty Steph 😍 💕. With all the ornaments you stitch and have been gifted I hope we will see a picture of your Christmas tree! Do you decorate more that this? Pictures would be lovely 💗 My mom had an aunt that lived in Toledo. We were in London, Ontario and if you drew a line straight up from Toledo you would find London! 😁 Pam you will have to change the C to a P on your dolly 😆 ty and see you Sun!
We adopted a cat who sneezed a lot Vet couldn’t help it but I was allergic to him. Years later I found dried snot in places. As he got older he didn’t do it. Good luck with yours.
I read a biography about Betsy Ross when I was in the 4th grade, over 50 years ago. I love to learn about her and was able to visit her home in Philadelphia. I am going to have to purchase this pattern! Also just love the purple linen and cat whisker fabric! The retreat at the farm sounds so charming. I would love to go to a retreat some day. I am very curious about Teresa Kogut’s patron. I’m not sure how it works but I loved the Christmas Kitty. Thanks for all the enabling!!!
Pam, I just love how your stitching reflects your interests. We get a little history lesson along with scratching our cross stitch itch! I have been wondering about how you arrange your stitched pieces behind you. Do you have multiple nails in the wall or do you just replace each piece with a like sized piece when you switch them out? Or do you use something other than nails? I have never heard you mention anything about this when you do your Tour de Wall (which I love!).
Another wonderful video! You ladies are fun, inspiring, and informative. #stitch harmony, I live in the little borough of Orwigsburg, PA. One LNS is an hour west of me, and another one is one and half-hour south of me. I am looking for a couple of ladies who love cross stitching and want to get together to stitch, laugh, share, and help each other. And even some road trips now and then.
It was such a fun weekend! Did you feel like you just needed to crash afterward like I did? I was sooooo tired from overstimulation when I got home from the farm! :) It was great to see you - hope to see you next year at the farm!
riverview stitching is also in Monroe (maybe 20 minutes north of Toledo). Shop owner is Aury TM and is lovely. They have stitching times you can join. Stop it now... muddy duck!!! I need some too. I totally buy stuff at time based on a cute name or label.
Glad you had a great retreat at the farm, and Steph, I'm glad the leaky tire made it home! Pam, thanks for the info about the motifs on A New Constellation. It was interesting. I have that pattern but it will be a while before I stitch it. Regarding the date of June 14 on the piece. Could it possibly be on there because June 14 is Flag Day?
#stitchharmony My friends find it “fascinating” how much I love stitching but alas no one has the bug! I’d love to meet some gals in or near my home in Forest Lake MInnesota ❤️ Thank you!
One of my cats is a chronic sneezer i think she has allergies like me because she’s always sneezing and chronically drippy. My vet told me as long as the liquid stays clear it’s not a concern, I hope the same is true for your fur baby!
Sew, I always look forward to watching your floss tubes. Thank you sew much for all the sharing. Question: what are the two people that are located next to your printer?
#stitchharmony i love you both and your channel. I don’t drive. I live in Renton Washington, which is near Seattle and I know there are quite a few stitchers in the area but I’d love to find someone closer. Man or lady stitcher it doesn’t matter :)
