I never get tired of your Norway videos. Absolutely stunning scenery!!! Thank you for all the hard work you put into taping the scenery, driving all over Europe to find these scenic routes, the uploading, etc. You do an admirable job on these, and I'm thankful for that. Hoping your summer this year is full of adventure, fun, and a few places that are truly remarkable to look at.
Drops to sea level over 10km - that's where the little map showed a 3D tunnel as a corkscrew inside the mountain next to the 1000ft /330m Vøringfossen waterfall at the edge of the canyon.
You take the great weather with you, it seems. I've driven across Hardangervidda twice and it's either been full on rain or a mix of thick cloud and heavy showers. Great to see the drive in nice weather.
Yes, really a challenge to keep this mountain crossing open on some stormy winter days. It has even happened a few days closed b4 reopened this rv7. Until mid of the 1980s completely closed normally from during Nov. till during May. But a tunnell project has already been proposed for years to make this rv7 more winter safe. But so far no political bills have been made on any such rather controversial step.
Thanks for the video. Just a note: you can see a similar non-ending drove into nowhere in Eastern Montana! ;) Might be why my family moved there from Norway in the early 1900s ;) thanks again. Please take no offense at my joke.

Norway looks even more awesome with great weather. I was lucky to have 2 weeks of sunshine and high temperatures.
I arrived at the end of the warm spell, around mid June last year. I had a few nice, if cloudy days then it rained for the second half of the week.
Ive been driving there alot of times in the winter. There is alot of wind and snow blowing over the road making it hard to see where your going
