The accountability of this team is second to none from the true freshman qb stepping up on his second start to the veterans all over this team thinking about whats best for the team and not the individual never been prouder of utah football these last few years keep it up

I wish Whitt And Ludwig would stop with the conservative philosophy that handcuffs their offense from scoring more points when they need them.

Not with Wilson playing qb! The playbook is vastly narrowed-down with Wilson, so you hv to lean on your running game and defense. Even then, Wilson still threw 2 picks. If you open it up to throw it down field or just allow Wilson to throw it all over, you're just asking for trouble. Kyle and the staff know exactly what they are doing. Get the lead, keep the crowd out of the game by maintaining control through clock management and, lean on that defense! If anything, Scalley going conservative with the prevent defense late allowed OSU to get momentum and get back in the game!

The defense, and the run game can’t do it all, the Utes offense has to be creative, and open up the playbook for Wilson to be given the opportunity to score points, especially if they need to do so to ultimately win a game.
It’s the coaching staff that plays the with conservative mindset that restricts the opportunities to put points on the board.
To say that Wilson will just automatically commit more turnovers by having him throw more is ludicrous.

@MacStackingWins Learn reading comprehension my friend! Who said anything about the run game and defense "doing it on their own?" They do have a limited set of pass plays for Wilson but, they are LIMITED for a reason because he doesn't understand the whole playbook; all the audibles and protections that are attached to each play call. Just calling for the coaching staff to "open it up" reveals how you're not understanding the complete situation. Also, you calling on them to "be creative" shows again you're not understanding Wilson's limitations. They aren't at the beach spontaneously drawing up plays in the sand. The playbook is completely open with Rising but, not with Wilson. Finally, I didn't say Wilson would "automatically commit more turnovers," I said you run the risk- reading comprehension! He already commented 2 with a narrowed-down approach!

I agree with both of you at this point I wanted to see more points and pass plays on 3rd down but there is one obvious weakness to Wilson and that is when he is pressured he either takes a sack or throws a bad ball that risks an INT. So I understand the play call but I definitely lean toward being more aggressive.

@MacStackingWins Who said the defense and run game would "do it on their own?" There are play calls for Wilson but, THEY ARE LIMITED! Why? Because he doesn't know all the audibles, protections, and adjustments depending how the defense lines up. Also, I didn't say Wilson would "automatically commit more turnovers;" you run the risk. He already committed 2 with a scaled-down approach!

It all comes down to the coaching staff. Coach Whit has done an awesome job of getting the right assistant coaches.

Dude sliced his hand from a dirty tackle against Baylor. Just admit you have no idea what you're talking about. Cam has had bad luck the last couple years with injury, I'll give you that. But when he's in the game, you are either ignorant or blind if you're going to sit there and pretend he isn't one of the best QB's the ever put on a uniform for this team. I love what I'm seeing from Wilson so far, but he clearly still has growing to do. Cam provides the team with the best chance to win the conference and make a playoff push.

That first one was just a great defensive play tho, he’ll get more used to not panicking when the pocket starts to collapse the more he plays. He also doesn’t let mistakes get to his head which is such an underrated quality
