I thought you were going to do the Moog part of the Emerson Lake and Palmer song! Still enjoyed what I heard, I got a Grandmother rather than a Matriarch, and I wish now I’d gone for the bigger synth . . . .
Thanks, glad you enjoy! I think I may have a legit Lucky Man cover I posted years ago using my Slim Phatty, this one is just Lucky Man-esque lol. The Grandmother is still outstanding, I only opted for the Matriarch for the independent envelope for filter
@@shadowcircus Yeah, Moog make very solid gear, no corners cut on the architecture, the keys are one of the best I’ve played on a synth. (I few months back I was in a studio which had a Fender Rhodes Mk 2. Very exciting, until I played it - sounded ace but the flimsy keys didn’t endear me.) I think the Moog designers made great choices when setting out the CV inputs, so I can always trigger an external envelope in my Eurorack to independently control the filters. You get many more of these in the Matriarch, even without any external gear, it’s for joyful experimentation!
