Thank you so much for this video I nearly cried watching it. Your thoughtfulness and care behind everything you do is so comforting and inspiring. I recently watched another video from a creator called Katelynclemonsart and she was speaking on art and activism as well. I have really been self reflecting on what purpose I want my art to serve in this world. I have been in a slump so it has taken me some time but watching this video has really re-motivated me to break free from this helplessness stage and move! this is such a beautiful video. i do have one thing- have you considered masking back up? the pandemic is still happening and it's a bit jarring that you made a video about artivism but weren masking in the store and stuff. i dont mean this as an attack, if you didnt seem like someone who would be willing to have potential incongruencies between their words and their actions pointed i def wouldnt b saying anything at all lol

Hi! I appreciate you being so thoughtful with your comment. I currently don’t mask up (as you saw) when I’m healthy presenting- if that makes sense. I do see what you’re saying about consistency when it comes to this area of being socially conscious, I think the best I do is refrain from interacting with anyone but my house/masking up around those times if I absolutely have to go out. I’m sorry if this isn’t a super satisfactory answer, and I want to be transparent about my intentions especially if I'm posting store footage w/o a mask in future vlogs, but I really appreciate you giving me something to think about and I'm glad the calls part helped.
