I think the English countryside best suits your families adventurous spirit. The small town feel will also provide a community environment, too.I bet little Neo is going to be a kinesthetic learner, how fun! When you want to read to him, give him a small toy or stuffed animal to hold or swing around, it might help keep his attention longer.
For me, water is grounding. No matter how hard my brain is spinning, putting my feet in water is instantly calming. To be able to immerse myself in hot water is the ultimate grounding, calming, rejuvenating experience.
Louis, you should try floatation therapy! It’s very common for initiating precisely what you describe from baths. It’s effectively floating in a very highly salted tank of water (so you float above the waterline) perfectly heated at your skin temperature, no sound and no light, they used to be known as “sensory deprivation tanks” that’s a bit scary sounding, but describes the feeling and is very very popular to help destress and has many many benefits. There are many places with float tanks you can book sessions, it’s 100% worth having a look. I’m so pleased to be able to tell you this and can’t believe you guys haven’t come across it before! Please have a little google :)
Raya, Louis, Neo and Cali, I am grateful for all you do for me personally watching. I'm lost most days living in LA as a 45 yr old overweight woman. Your vlogmas has made me have something to look forward to. I have followed you both for a very long time. I am again so grateful for all you both do for this community! Ty for sharing your lives with us!
I am sure you are beautiful. I am70 next birthday and enjoy watching them too. They are gentle and happy sprits. And baby Neo is a gem. I wish you a happy day.
Love, love, love the treehouse! 🌳 What a peaceful and relaxing place to escape the hustle and bustle of the season for a few days. Quite a contrast from your recent trip to London. Thanks for sharing the best of the UK from both ends of the spectrum. It’s ALL amazing!
i think the giant leaves you saw are from a Gunnera tinctoria, known as giant rhubarb, Chilean rhubarb, or nalca, is a flowering plant species, seen in many ornamental gardens usually attached to manor houses in the uk. you love the beach & Brighton has all the diversity and good vegan restaurants. if you move to the country you 'll have some trouble finding different places to eat on a regular basis without having to drive everywhere. but the choice is yours as long as you're all happy.
To be honest I didn't think I'd watch as much after you had Neo but you're even BETTER now. Reminds of my kids when they were little ones. 27 20 and 18 now. Keep the great videos going. Happy vlogmas. Merry Christmas Raya, Louis, and little Neo.
It is round, constructed like the Apulian Trulli - lived in for hundreds of years.. the round design and compartmentalising... one house, one roof.. reminds me of this. South of Italy - Puglia... you should visit it one day - bed and breakfasts are now converted Trulli houses.
As a mum of 2 i lovingly recommend avoiding wooden trunks for toys - the lids are heavy and trap little fingers when toddlers try to open the box alone and if your big toddler closes the lid on the little toddler it can be a head or finger fracture x also very quickly your children need to sort toys by type - smaller boxes on shelves with pictures on the front eg bricks, cars, farm animals , lincoln logs etc are great for a positive reason to tidy " we can find stuff its great 🎉"
Sauna (80-90°C) does it for me!!! I really resonate with what Louis was saying about it (bathing in warm water and sauna) being something like a spiritual experience! 🥰✨✨✨
I have been loving these vlogs so much! You guys have been my comfort zone for years now. Thank you for including us in your journey! And Neo is just one of the cutest babies I have ever seen.
I think if you have the means a countryside house would make a good holiday home to travel to for a few holidays of the year! Living there fulltime might be too quiet and chill, you guys seem to need a lot more to do. I think Brighton suits your lifestyle more, a bit more buzz.
Yes Raya keep the recipes coming ...sure that's where my friend used to live near the tree house . It's very rustic ...love it ... Looking fwd to 2moros vlog , oh love lil Neos outfits too , he's so very cute and his personality is coming out ❤
When you read to Neo use board books with no words or even one word on each page... ask him to find the dog... find the baby.. etc... getting him to interact like this will build up his attention span and his involvement with reading and books... you can read longer books to him... but do it as he is relaxing... or playing with something... he will hear your voice... he will get used to being read to... but don't require him to actively participate... as he grows get board books that have more words..... and when he is bringing you 10 books for story time... you can then get early readers.... with a sentence or two on each page... before you know it... you will be reading all of those wonderful stories you want him to enjoy...
I always regard a bath of hot water as a subconscious version of being in the womb. Quiet, just the ebb and flow of thoughts, water movement. Good for you to disconnect in the purest form.
As a parent it's mindblowing to watch you carry Neo everywhere (as you are away) and know from experience that he's about to not need that anymore and he's going to be self sufficient.
I really enjoyed the little chat at the end there, I am totally the same with baths Louis, my mind is *constantly* going, and being in the bath is one of the only times I really truly relax, I try to have one every Sunday evening and it's absolutely sacred to me! Would be so interested to hear some of your revelations another time 😊
This is why I love watching you both because I just relax and you both have such soothing voices so I get a lot of relaxation watching you. I too am like Raya I will have a film on and play a game as I can’t switch off. Also constantly have music running through my head 😁. So being able to get a hit frank and relax watching your day is my switch off time 😍♥️🏴
Raya when my son was about that age he wouldn’t sit for a story for long, but I would keep reading even if he was playing with something else he would tend to come back to the story. His just in an odd little phase but keep powering through and I think he will love reading. He just turned 5 two weeks ago and he loves books, we’re at the library weekly
Love the daily vlogs! You guys have made me excited to have kids! I’ve always been worried I’d be house-bound with kids but I see how much you guys get out and it gives me hope! ❤😂
wow!! I loved and enjoyed the adventurous walk and the treehouse 🌴🏠 tour. Omg, that pic from dinner looked amazing!!! Share the recipe to those delicious meals please 😊.
I get the bath thing Louis. I live in Finland now where no house or apartment has a bath. They do Sauna here instead but its not the same thing for me. I miss bath's so much. What Raya was saying about swimming is me too. Seimming is the only sport where I find meditation. And yes, im addicted to my phone too and don't like that fact.
I used to play games on my phone as well while watching movies. But then I started knitting and crocheting and have never been on my phone again haha and it is so fun! I highly recommend :) Greetings from germany 😊
Omg…I wake up to a jukebox in my head every day. Not like waking up and then think of something, it is in the middle or at the end of the song like it plays while I sleep. It’s just there. I love baths but it doesn’t quiet my brain 😢
Loved this Vlog! The treehouse vibe and countryside definitely suits you and wow I love that staircase. I live with chronic pain and have been to a few float tanks which are amazing. It basically means you lay in a pod that you can totally close or leave open a little and just lay in the dark floating in like magnesium water it’s totally awesome. Maybe you would like something like this Louis cause it does help to shut the mind down! Looking forward to tomorrow ❤
Loved the walk to the village and hope you didn't get too wet and of course the tree house! Curious, have either of you been to Christiania in Copenhagen? You would love the adorable and unique dwellings. House just seems like too ordinary of a word to describe them. I loved Louis description of his bath experience. I used to live in Europe and miss it so much I can't tell you. Meandering alone through lovely villages is a special place and time for me - and dancing! Dancing to deep house and even techno I've had spiritual times as Louis describes. Woe, sorry, my comment is this long! Thank you for your daily vlogs! You are two beautiful souls! 💖🎄
lovely English countryside..... even in the rain...Leo is adorable...great tree house.... cold sunny days here in Athens... expecting rain on Friday... try and keep vlogging... your'e fun to watch
Hi again. We stayed in Pembrokeshire and they had a log fired hot tub. Oh that’s the best hot tub experience ever. So if you do ever get one. Log fired is the best. Yes it takes a while to heat up but the temperature is amazing. Sooo cleaning under the stars. ♥️. The place was in angle gorgeous place with the most incredible wooded walks a near to amazing beaches. Would defiantly recommend going♥️. Neo is so adorable ♥️🧚♂️🏴
Me again 😂 cut out some beautiful material and sew together to make stockings♥️. You could either use felt letters to make a name or initials on each one. Instead of worrying about knitting them. Maybe you. Outdoor pick up a large velvet dress from the charity shop so they are the same 😁♥️♥️♥️🏴
Loving the Christmas vlogmas series I thought I was going to have to close my eyes for a minute there while Louie was in the bath I’m also a bath freak but we live in the country and have to buy water and have it delivered so I don’t get to bath that often 😊
"Maybe I will just knit them," Raya says 12 days before Christmas (not to mention the Vlogmas, motherhood, family coming - oh and a puzzle...) NO, you will find them for next year! LOL We love you!
@@RayaandLouis For context, my mother was needlepointing a stocking for my kiddo (born in 2009), my mom unfortunately passed in 2018 with the stocking unfinished - my kiddo (currently anyway) wants to only celebrate the Yule, winter and not Christmas... no one has missed that stocking! Find ones when you can, rest, enjoy and do more puzzles and baths - less stress!
Instead of learning to knit and learning to make stockings , it might be easier to buy some big pieces of felt , stitch your names on ( you might get felt letters too) and sew a simple stocking for this year .
Hi Raya and Louis; wow 🤩 amazing beautiful treehouse I just love the shape of it and the roof / ceiling is stunning the craftsmanship and attention to detail is amazing 🤩. You two are making such great videos!!!thankyou for sharing. Sending love to you three xx 🥰
I love walks in the woods. I used to go with a group (20 or so people). Then one day I got lost. Arrived 30 minutes late. Did the walk alone. The best walk EVER. Hi Neo. Love your vlogs.
Not that our votes count for much 😂 but I vote countryside! Many more adventures & ways for Neo to use his imagination. You can always drive to the beach.
As adults it’s not that our ‘brains have been trained’ into the over-stimulation… we’ve created and maintained those practices. And we reinforce it everyday. We have agency to heal that.
One of my favorite things to do is to sit outside in a silent place that is flooded with sunlight, out of the wind, on a day of extreme cold. The juxtaposition of hot and cold takes me into another realm.
I wait every day for these vlogs .. I get excited when I see fou upload... I love neo so much ... he was born thr same week my granddaughter saoirse ... she's trying to walk too ... please keep making these videos xxx they keep me alive lol x
Louis, it's your quite space😊 everyone should have a space where there quite Mine is in front of my huge window where I sit at my desk with my☕ and have my quite devotional time
Look into Deltec Homes - they have mastered the circular floor plan, which apparently is the most strong in hurricanes, etc. I think the style you like is Modern Rustic. I like it too!
I’m obsessed with hot tubs and deep, soaking tubs… one of the main reasons I rented my place in Montreal is because of the ginormous bathtub! And my house in Vermont will always have a hot tub! Hit me up if you’re ever in Vermont! Loving your Vlog 🎄
Love the video, the treehouse looks amazing! I noticed at the end that Raya is interested in some handmade stockings. I have a crochet business and would love to make these happen for next year ❤ Just had to take my chance and throw that out here😂

I think people enjoy warm baths so much because it resembles our experience of being in our mothers womb.
For me, water is grounding. No matter how hard my brain is spinning, putting my feet in water is instantly calming. To be able to immerse myself in hot water is the ultimate grounding, calming, rejuvenating experience.
i’m normally a silent watcher but i’m loving your vlogmas so much! it’s bringing me a lot of
joy in this hard season of my life.
Louis, you should try floatation therapy! It’s very common for initiating precisely what you describe from baths.

Ah thank you so much! ❤️
Being overstimulated is so true. The whole time I’ve been baking, I’ve either been catching up on your vlogmas or listening to Christmas music. ❤
It is round, constructed like the Apulian Trulli - lived in for hundreds of years.. the round design and compartmentalising... one house, one roof.. reminds me of this. South of Italy - Puglia... you should visit it one day - bed and breakfasts are now converted Trulli houses.
From a 22 year old that grew up in the countryside. There is nothing like it. It was a great place to learn and explore new activities safely xx
I am the same always want a holiday with a hot tub or a pool. I put it down to being a Pisces ♓️
I love to knit. It's really calming and great when watching a show. I can knit stockings for you!

I agree with Louis, I love sitting in the hot tub with a good book & relaxing.
Sauna (80-90°C) does it for me!!! I really resonate with what Louis was saying about it (bathing in warm water and sauna) being something like a spiritual experience! 🥰✨✨✨
I feel like water is innately calming and comforting because we start surrounded in liquid. It’s also energetically conductive.

I could so see you living in the country side and having your own garden and growing your own vegetables.
Yes! Please keep showing ur food and linking recipes. My husband and I are new to vegan food and wanting to try a bunch if different recipes

I know these vlogs take a lot out of you, and are more work, i appreciate the extra content and yall opening up more! Really fun to watch
I can relate to what Raya says about finding swimming medating, even though it is exercise i find it so relaxing in a way ☺

Love the daily vlogs! You guys have made me excited to have kids! I’ve always been worried I’d be house-bound with kids but I see how much you guys get out and it gives me hope! ❤😂
Aw I love that so much! ❤️
Louis, if you haven’t tried it yet, add a cup of epsom salts to your bath and it will take you to another level of relaxation.
wow!! I loved and enjoyed the adventurous walk and the treehouse 🌴🏠 tour.
Omg, that pic from dinner looked amazing!!! Share the recipe to those delicious meals please 😊.
Another wonderful vlogmas. ♥
The treehouse looked magical! The rain on the roof sounded lovely.
Totally cool tree house! Thanks for sharing! My grandson is also fascinated with ceiling lamps and fans like Neo! ❤
Love you guys. Truly. Thank you so much for sharing this month as it’s strangely been something I’ve needed to get through this Christmas
Thank you so much! I’m so glad these videos can help bring some joy into this month for you ❤️
I feel so lucky getting to watch lil Neo grow and learn

I am really enjoying “Vlogmas”! Thank you so much for doing this. I love you sharing your recipes.🎄🎄🎄
What a fabulous tree house!! Loved the village you walked to, so wonderfully quaint. Thx for sharing your adventures and sweet little Neo❣️❣️
Absolutely love the recipes being posted! I love this tree house retreat! Love watching you both with Neo!

I love watching Raya cook and am interested in the recipes. What a cute tree house.
oh my gosh this village is absolutely divine how cosy and wonderful wow 🎄🇬🇧☕
Yes, please share all the recipes you can. Love them!

There are a few chimney sweeps in brighton & hove to unblock your flue.
Loving the Christmas vlogmas series I thought I was going to have to close my eyes for a minute there while Louie was in the bath I’m also a bath freak but we live in the country and have to buy water and have it delivered so I don’t get to bath that often 😊

We don't use umbrellas. We always have waterproofs as a staple in our car.

When my kids were babies I found felt stocking to make. my kids love them. it has instructions on how to make them.
This is the coolest place❤❤

Raya you looks so beautiful is red and pink! I hope you got that red hat from the op shop it looked great on you!
Neo is so cute. I hope he grows into those eyebrows.

I cant believe you walking through this wether and muddy walk, not having a raincoat or a second umbrella.
This video makes me want to build a tree house
Try some lavendar epsom salt in the hot bath. Most relaxing great thing ever.
What a beautiful tree house & vlog.❤
Y'all need to live on a narrowboat! Cruise around the UK countryside.
❤❤ He's growing so fast! ❤❤

My calm zen space happens when i play GTA V and just drive around the sidewalks smashing the npcs ..
Raya you've definitely picked up some English slang! Lol it's so cute to hear
