I have both too! Notes on durability Cinelog20 first and broke 8 prop guards in a couple of weeks, the plastic they use is just brittle (same as the cinelog 25/30) also once you have to replace the guards, you end up tearing and destroying the foam that is stuck on them. If running the O3 you can actually not install the top action cam carbon plate and rubbers as the camer has its own mounts bellow, saving a little weight. CineOn20 It is in fact slightly lighter and slightly smaller, (but slightly taller - i found it helps with the O3 install) The prop guards are the same material as the props, so the are flexible and strong ive yet to break any 4 weeks in, even in a crash which ripped a motor off. They kinda bounce back, although you can bend more props on crashes.
Really wishing I had built a 2 inch cinewhoop instead of a 3inch now, but it works for what I'll use it for. I always enjoy watching you abuse a cinewhoop flying fast, hard to pick between this or the GEPRC. Thanks for taking the time to run the gears with all of these. Cheers!
Another great review. I do enjoy your presentation style and your candor when reviewing these quads. A frank, honest review. much appreciated. Thank-you for another great review.
Check to see if you have spectator mode enabled. They added that with the newest version, and if it's enabled you are rebroadcasting your video signal. It looks like in order to accomplish this, the quality you see in your own goggles suffers a bit compared to when it's not enabled.
This is a very good point. Ran outback to check, but no joy. I also tested against an old WS quad with the old version of the firmware 23.33.16. Of course goggles said firmware mismatch but the image looked as expected.
Hah! this was uploaded 20hrs ago...meanwhile, 20 hrs ago i started building my C20 (z20?!) kit to add my O3 unit! The kit was about $80 which included all tpu and motors, not abad deal...i have an o3, had a fresh board, adding crossfire for this one, and off i go - it's an amazing size, and will be perfect to travel around with...nice!
Amazing flying as always! My main takeaway to be honest is that I'm glad I got the OddityRC Xi20 (This CineOn was on my list). Prop protection is much tougher (same as the Xi25 and Xi35 that you recently reviewed). Camera is completely protected between two front standoffs (no vibration mounts). Mine comes in just under 100g dry but I'm using the Walksnail 1S VTX rather than the full sized one. I'm really interested to try those 1305 motors on mine though, I've tried them on a much lighter 2" cinewhoop (one of those carbon skeleton looking things) and they had loads of power.
Another fine review Nick. Great flying too. Really appreciate all you put forth to help us out with fpv choices. Hopefully you can continue with these excellent vids.
Thank you Nick for your dope reviews. I agree with you and like your reviews because I like to fly mine aggressively. I shoot sport videos like basketball and track. Out of these two quads which one flies better aggressively in your opinion? Keep these sic videos rollin!!
Fantastic flying and review, Nick! 😃 I guess the prop protectors would feel a bit stronger with the foam added... Perhaps that's the difference between them. Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
I would thing the foam would have a minimal amount of stiffness added, but it does or potentially does have an impact in overal crashes. It might tear the foam allowing the quad and prop protection to "slide" off the impact point.
I have both quads. Many people stop by and ask which one they should buy. I say if there is a gun to my head, then I pick the cineON. Otherwise, i like them both and they are very similar. Easier to repair GEP but my AF hasn't broke a prop guard yet, the GEP has broke 4 prop guards so far. Micro USB port is slightly harder to get to on AF. o3 unit is a little lower on AF causing it to tip over easier when landing. Both great quads, but I regret not getting 2.5" versions. Just my two cents as I own and have flown both many times.
@@NickBurnsFPV Me too. Although, I have only broke one prop on the GEP and have gone through several on the AF. The AF seems to just bounce off of everything. Never a perfect solution, always trade-offs and compromises. 👍 Thank you for the great reviews man, we all appreciate your insight.
@@VECAFPV I presume you mean cinelog20 as I don't believe there is a cinebot20. I think the cineon 20 is going to be more durable, so that is pretty much the major difference.
@@NickBurnsFPV it takes around 30mins to be fully charged as lipo(4.2 per cell)? Because mine it takes almost an hour for 1100 mah for .5A😂 im worried about whats the safest range coz im new to larger quads at batts, my 1st drone is the mobula7 1s which your reviews are my basis, and also my new quad the cinebot30 that i also based on your reviews😁
Just a slow cruise inside, nothing super fast. I presume the z20 is a previous iteration, but I don't recall it and don't find a video on the channel on it. I have to presume they are similar but with no flight to look at or recall I can't differentiate.
Hey Nick - big fan! Did you happen to see Flywoo put out new revisions of their 1S Baby Nano line? I only found out because I was having a heck of a time finding one in stock, only to realize they have a 2.0 set now and that's why. Any chance you could give them a spin on the channel for us? I'm very interested in something so little, but I'm not sure how the changes (looks like bigger motors mostly) is going to affect it. Either way, thanks for all the content. My Meteor65 Pro owes all it's hours to you. All the best to you and your family.
Hey! I like your reviews, but when you're reviewing cinewhoops, I really think you should include a segment where you fly them with naked GoPro. That's what it's all about, isn't it?
I would say “all about”. I have heard most want to see the fpv camera and it’s stability. That will then give some assurance that an external hd camera would have similar stability. I wouldn’t fly them aggressively with a GoPro or naked GoPro. To risky for my purposes
The cinerace is a better flat flyer, but this is better at acro. That is what I see when looking at the two videos as its been a long time since I have flown the cinerace20.
Hey I need some help currently I have the FrSky Taranis Q X7, and some fat shark goggles too. I want to get into whoops, but would like a beginner best bang for your buck starter whoop. Do you have any recommendations. 😅

I legit don't understand why you only have 53k subscribers. Out of all the guys who cover smaller drones, you're definitely in the top 2-3.

Thank you 😁
I don't charge multi cell lipo to HV/4.35 I only HV charge 1s lipos.

Is axisflying c20 much bigger than pavo pico ?
Do you have some review from mobula 8 with dji o3 ?
In the hand the pavo pico does feel a great deal smaller, by measurement it isn't that much smaller.
