Please note the following: The Captain Drone channel is a family friendly channel, therefore I don't permit Hate Speech or Stupidity within the comments. If your comment was deleted, then it fell in one of those categories.
I do my best to avoid stupidity in my comments, but you know, when it comes to FPV, no guarantees 🤪😂
@@colibrifpvI do appreciate the effort 😂
It's sad that this specifically needs to be stated in a given comment section. But I guess that's UA-cam comments for you.
@@DanielCristThe problem with that is, most people just consider someone with a different opinion to be using "hate" speech.
@@7996hobguy I can't really pass judgement on any comments I haven't seen, but hate speech often starts with a rebuttal of a differing opinion. Having a different opinion doesn't necessarily justify it and protect it from being perceived as having elements of prejudice, racism, hatred, or other uncivilized notions associated with or rooted in it.
I don't know what happened here, but I have certainly seen many a comment section on UA-cam devolve as they quickly went from a few people simply
disagreeing on a straightforward issue, and then all it takes is one tinderbox comment of instigation in order to lead to the whole comment section descending into utter ugly chaos and hatred.
Perhaps then rather than delete the comments though, just block that user from posting and censor any sensitive words in their comments if possible, (assuming it is caught or reported to the channel early enough before it blows up into something so large that it overshadows the entire rest of the comment section) so that for example, all can see and be made aware of what an immature troll "User123" is. They likely follow and comment on similar channels as many of the other subscribers here, and if someone is trying to have a serious debate with one of these people who regularly posts very inappropriate, immature, and hateful comments on videos of similar channels, but if their comments are swiftly deleted before anyone can see what kind of person they are - then that other user doesn't realize that they're just wasting their time in pursuing anything resembling a civil debate and are only being lured into a pointless fight with a troll.
I mean, I don't know how common this type of issue is on this channel, so I'm not sure what the best solution actually would be. But I always thought of the FPV and drone community as being very laid back, friendly, united, helpful and supporting towards everyone else in this unique community, like a big flying family. So it's just really shocking and saddening to me that apparently something big happened and it got so ugly and out of hand that all traces of the event just had to be completely erased. It's already sad to hear of any infighting or unsupportive interactions within our community, but for one instance to get so bad that it needs to be fully erased and followed up with a pinned comment needing to address the negative social atmosphere that had apparently coalesced beneath this video.
Wow!!!!! Finally we live in the times when lightweight 4K quads, with take off mass less than 250 grams, are everywhere around the corner! I was always a bit uncomfortable with flying my Cinelog35 in the city. You never know if some people will show up and ruin your shot. With such lightweight drone line Cinelog25 v2 you can just fly over them! People safe, pilot happy - double win!
Very Impressive..thanks fir showcasing this amazing machine in such a practical and informative manner🤜🏼
Once again another great video, love the videos Steve keep it up!!
Thanks, will do!
You must be the first person on the internet realising video of CL25v2. Amazing 😍
It appears so. Unfortunately Geprc forgot to include me in any of their correspondence regarding release dates. Oh well, this benefits Geprc as now there is positive anticipation for the release.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I am pleased to know that it is coming that's to your great review but I thought it is strange to release it so close to the Dark Star drone. Oh well
I’m gonna get this as my first drone mainly for freestyle and fun even though it’s not the best for it. Slow is smooth, smooth is fasts
Thanks for the video and the drama. FPV needs more of both! GEPRC is the real winner here.😁 I still enjoy your uploads for over 5 years now. 🤙🏾
Awesome video Steve, thanks for the tour in your area. I really enjoy the ice fishing houses on the frozen lake you post every winter.
Thanks! I’ll be back to visit them this winter.
did you jump the line on the release play nice
Apparently I’m a bad boy and need to be sent a thousand drones until I learn my lesson 😇
Hi Steve! I have a little problem.
I have a cinebot 30 PNP version, i use remote controller 2 and integra.
My video signal is bad, about 1 miles about 20-30mbs without trees clear place, FCC is OK! It is helped but not enough. It is normal? ELRS is better? Or Integra is bad?
Thanks for answer, and sorry my bad english :/
Look in your goggles and see if there is a setting under TRANSMISSION to increase the output power or image in your goggles. Normally the cheap antennas that come with the Integra and FPV Remote 2 will get you about 2.5 to 3 miles range if the interference is low. Since you are flying out a mile, my guess is you may be flying too low to the ground. All drones by DJI can not go very far unless there is a direct line of sight between the controller, goggles and drone. This means that items like people, hills, trees, buildings, cars, etc can't be inbetween.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Thanks for answer! I didn't found the transmission settings with output power in Integra,
Yes, I'm flight about 10-15m altitude.
What is your advice?
Change goggles or change to ELRS? 😏
great video. Did you stabilize the image? Did you feel that it vibrates when outdoors? Is the O3's native stabilization enough?
The DJI O3 was set to ROCKSTEADY stabiliziation.
Wow!!!! some great footage and piloting there Steve. Looked AMAZING 👍👍👍👍
Thanks 👍
I think this is the first mention of the Cinelog 25 V2. Very temping. I hope they make a "O3-Ready" version so I can just pop my own O3 in there.
Geprc may just do that if there is enough demand
Love the view of the beach...cap!❤
Would it be better to use D63-5 props with 2.5" pusher drone?
This little guy sounds surprisingly pleasant in the air considering it's prop size :)
Can't wait for next video
Hi Steve, was this colour graded at all or just straight from the 03?
Please note that in every video I make, I do not change the Rates or PIDS of the drones reviewed, nor do I ever change the recorded video output (what I show is what you get).
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Ok brilliant, thanks!
Good evening captain that's really nice drone cool review looks insane
Fun video ! 😃
This drone is near perfect!
Great flights Steve .
Thanks 👍
Looks like a real winner... Multi tool of sub250 drones for sure. I've been waiting for this exact thing to be made pretty much, 1204- to 1404 motors and 2.5 to 3 inch props will be the o3 sub250 formula whether it be open or closed prop.
class video captain, great review.
Thank you kindly
Would you rather have the geprc 35 or 25? The price difference is $70.00
With a 25 I would not add an external camera due to weight. With the 35, weight of external camera would not be an issue.
Very nice FPV drone and good review Steve.
Thanks 👍
Great landing😀 great video Steve😀😀😀
Thank you
5:33 Great review, loved seeing this in action. My question is these are available now, and they can be shipped either with or without GPS.
I have goggles 2 and a DJI controller that I plan to use. Can you see any disadvantages in getting the GPS version "just in case that might come in handy someday?"
It is probably a silly question, but even though I'm not completely new to flying, I'm still trying to make sense of DJI tech. Getting the GPS version is only an extra 10 bucks, yet I would hate to get the wrong thing for the FPV near obstacle flying I'm planning on doing. I'm not sure if DJI has any safety features that can't be disabled if I get the GPS version, but I don't think it can hurt to ask.
Thanks in advance for any feedback you might be able to offer!
Subscribed.
GPS rescue (nothing like a DJI beginner MAVIC drone GPS) is normally for long range drones. This is not a long range drone. The GPS will use up some battery power. The reason it is offered is because some pilots fly these drones low to the ground and around buildings and if the video signal is lost you crash, but if you flip the GPS rescue switch, the drone will rise and head back in the home direction so you can again regain video.
I should also mention that if you get gps, you will need to learn how to set it up in Betaflight and understand that by default it is set to not allow you to arm your motors unless a specific number of sats are acquired
@CAPTAINDRONE798 Thank you for the detailed replies! Off the top of my head it looks like the hassle to benefit ratio would work in my favor. A minor hassle to ensure configurations are correct together with a minor drain on the batteries at first if GPS can't be disabled, and a potentially major benefit if GPS rescue ever becomes relevant and helpful down the road.
Getting the one with GPS is basically a $10 insurance plan with some fine print attached, which sounds worthy enough to me.
Great flying! It was nice to see some of the other areas you may not visit quite as often.
Thanks! I’ll have to visit more areas in future vids.
Hee @captiandrone,
Really enjoyed your videos, they are really helpfull. Im about to buy a new drone and im doubting between cinelog 25 v2 or a cinebot30. Any tips for me haha. Thanks in advance
Gr Jeroen
All depends on where you wish to fly and what you wish to carry. Larger drones can carry more but are less likely to fly well in smaller spaces.
Hey Captain, how are you?
I ordered an 850 mah 100C 4S battery.
is it suitable?
I'm asking because I see most people using 650 mah
thank you and a hug
The 850 is just heavier, so flight is slightly affected.
thankyou 🙌@@CAPTAINDRONE798
Hello, could you tell me which drone is better in its category, cinelog25 v2 or pavo 25 v2?
Better? In which way? All FPV drones are great, but you have to know what you’re looking for. If you’re not an experienced FPV Pilot then there is no drone that will be good for you until you have some experience and know what you are specifically looking for.
I have only flown DJ Avata with cinewhoops, so I realize that there are much better cinewhoops on the market, namely I am looking for a drone to fly indoors when presenting companies and real estate, I wonder which one is more precise. I heard that paco25 has a problem with o3
@@BaksteRollFPVindoor flying is extremely difficult for people who can’t fly in manual mode (which is called ACRO in the FPV hobby), so for indoor flying the smaller the better, like the Darkstar or smaller.
I think I am 😍. This drone has my name written all over it. I would love to get this and supplement my photography hobby. Thanks for such a nice review and long beautiful flight! 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
Remember how you had this drone hype in 2015 where you had these giant drones with foam ducts and a crappy camera. Yeah thats this but good with all these cinewhoops o3 quadcopters coming out.
I didn’t know about all the Drama. But glad to see it’s coming at you and not from you. Everyone seems to have lost their minds these days. I am sorry you’ve had to listen to it though.
I've been waiting for this for a long time. I couldn't wait any long and got the WASP version but may eventually buy this and use the WASP as a backup. This is the best platform. I like the DarkStar too as its even small, will be good for even small spaces but won't have the same flight time or power as the Cinelog25. GEPRC have good quality drones. Great video Steve.
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed the vid and like the product.
I'm new to cinewhoop drones and this new Cinelog looks like the perfect choice. Please can you point me in the direction of the rest of the kit I need such as googles, controller and receiver?
Thanks for the brilliant and informative video.
Watch my video entitled: CAPTAIN DRONE FPV FOR BEGINNERS EPISODE 12
Brilliant, thank you @@CAPTAINDRONE798
i've always wanted a CL25 or CL20... both having O3 versions now make it even more difficult to decide
I recommend purchasing CL25 v2, which has better performance, better debugging, and much better user experience.
The dji o3 version isn't showing as an option there's a runcam HD wasp
That is because, as noted in my video, GEPRC has not released it yet.
I want the 25 V2 03 and planned to use it with the DJI goggles 2 and possibly the dji controller 2 as I could use it with the avata, also. The other option is crossfire. Also wondering if gps is necessary when 03 had GPS, also. Honestly not of fan of dji and all the damn permissions. Looking for opinions.
This is an amazing little quad. Superb picture quality and it looks very agile. Cheers Steve. 👍
It certainly is a great filming quad
Hi Captain,
when dji mini 4 pro review video is coming?
I have to find time to review it
Those all look great. I'll stick with my Avata (camera drone guy new to FPV) because the flips (even though the Avata can) are not important to me (right now). Thanks for sharing! 👍#32
I lost my Homfpv Wingsuit S and i need a new 2.5".
I'm interested in cinelog25 and cinebot25 but i can't understand all the differences, any experience?
Difference is mostly in the frame
I like the set up always great review
I always wonder what new features and improvements will be in the future. Every video you make seems to hold better drones every time. What do you think the future holds for drones? I can imagine 5 years from now what is in store( 3d, night vision, more range and flight times, maybe). BTW, what are those angled boxes around the fields and beach? They look like speakers or lights.
Drones will get smaller, fly longer, have extended range & great cameras.
Tu viens de voler la surprise de Geprc! J’adore. They would be pissed if the launch was scheduled before Christmas 😂
Geprc sent me this drone and many others in September. They never mentioned a release date because they had expected to release all their drones in September. I’m usually late with product releases so I was very surprised that Geprc had not released this one yet.
Does the analog come with the same flight controller? its not listed on the site i am assuming yes. They don't want you to upgrade to hd from analog like i did with V2 35
Yes. The Flight Controller is always the same. It is only the camera and video transmitter that changes.
I think this might be my drone of choice, any idea on price?
Should be similar to the Cinelog 20 DJI O3
I would go for 5” quad and small cinewhoop. But this really fun to play with
Regarding the mavic, I’ll say it, flying a mavic is really boring compared to flying FPV in acro mode. Don’t get me wrong, I have a mini 3 pro lying around, but FPV is just a lot more fun!
I would still put on a naked gopro for better quality :)
Excellent review! Hopefully GepRC can work out the production issues and get it out to the public soon!
Last word was it is coming in the next couple of days
Awesome.
😂.. What .Where is he.. guess you got there before Lawnmower / Tractor man … Pays to get up early.. Great Review as always Steve.. 💚👍
Thanks 👍. Tractor Man was late getting up that day.
Hi Steve, cool drone! I thought you were going to try and fly through on of those rings on the pitch lol
Another excellent video,I really like your content, you are one of the most honest UA-cams out there I really trust your feedback on products.looking forward to your next video 😊👍
P.s I really looking for a good aftermarket face plate for my DJI goggles 2 as the standard one is awful , it crashes my nose and the focus isn't great.
Any recommendations would be appreciated? As the are so many on the market.😊
I had bought a faceplate long ago for the version 1 goggles, and that faceplate was from DJI (it was thicker & softer than the original). Not sure if it is still sold.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798
Hi,ok thanks 👍
So 9g left for a naked go pro to stay under 250g.
Beautiful! Would be nice if you can also share a footage that has not been stabilized. Thanks for the great review.
The stabilization is ALWAYS on in the DJI O3 Camera (you set that in your FPV Goggles). I have never met a person that would fly an FPV drone without stabilization unless of course they wanted to add their own stabilization after the fact. That would be like taking a DJI Mavic or Mini and removing the stabilization, which would cause DJI to no longer be able to sell their MAVICS and MINIs.
I think the idea behind showing us unstablized footage would be to better showcase potential issues with the stock tune, cam mounting, and frequency vibrations, which is indicative of overall build quality. Important information to know about a BNF, IMO - especially one that is probably going to release for around $500
@@MoeFPV Yes, but The only problem would be that since I've been flying for many years, the footage would still look smooth (I'm very light on the sticks) for the most part. However, if a prop was bent or chipped, then vibrations might be seen. Most new FPV Quads in the past 3 years are tuned so well that the only jarring motion is due to the pilots flying skills.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I agree with @moeFPV here. I would also think unstabilized footage in a review makes more sense. If the prop was bent or chipped would that not mean at some point you weren't flying smooth?
I think the really reason is you want the product to look perfect so you continue to receive products from these companies.
@@_tcmoreAhhh… so you are one of those Conspiracy Theory humans. You’re not gonna get far in life if you always believe the glass is half empty. Try to be more positive & you’ll soon see the results. Oh… and I don’t get DRONES for Free. I’m in Canada… no such thing as FREE stuff from China or USA.
Very cool to see this, it isn't even on the GEPRC site yet 😮
Coming soon to Geprc
im new to this field but what else would i need to fly this or any geprc drone? on the geprc website it says options and i dont know what any of those are ,pnp,elrs2.4g,tbs nano rx, im assuming i would need a controller and goggles but which ones ? thanks
You have two choices. Either do some research and learn all about the FPV hobby (you can watch my video series: CAPTAIN DRONE FPV FOR BEGINNERS), or you can tell me you are extremely rich and can easily speed a few thousand and I’ll list all the items you need in the digital FPV hobby. Of course you’ll still require the knowledge of how to connect everything. My advice is to check out any of my reviews of FPV ready to fly (RTF) beginner kits and start with one of those. FPV is the most Advanced drone hobby for a reason (plenty of knowledge and skills are needed), but once you get it, life is then no longer boring.
Hello friend how are you? What would the final weight of the cinelog25 v2 be like using a Geprc Gopro11 Naked and battery?
It will exceed 250 grams, correct?
Is the V1 version still lighter, even using a naked GoPro, Caddx Vista and a 650 to 720 battery?
The V2 would be over 250 grams with those options. You would need the Analog version to be under.
i wish for the same. I wanted to use the 25v2 with naked hero 11
You have such a awesome job 😂 can you make a video showing your entire collection of things that fly?
Yep... Links do not seem to be available with either DJI-03 camera, nor PNP for DJI Goggles-2.
So CD, just where is this combo available???
Geprc has told me they have not released it yet, but keep checking as I’m sure it will be released soon.
Are it plug and play motors?
Woooo😊😁😄😀💪👍💥
Looking good 😎🤝
Interesting 🧐🧐
Great video. I can't choose 25 or 20
Could you do an indoor flight with this cinewhoop? I'd love to see how it could perform for real estate vids
I think some of the other reviews by other UA-cam channels will have indoor flights.
blimy Steve thought you were a vicar then nice quad and cool flying price look's good as well, won't buy yet still trying to conker my other quad's great review Captain. {for got to ask what are those grey boxes leaning on pitches}

It's ready to be launched. Geprc is releasing ClneBot 25 with even better performance. Of course, CL25 V2 is also very good.
Geprc just told me they have not released this one yet, but keep checking as the launch will be soon.
Hi cap I’m in the market for my first done and having a hard time choosing between the cinelog 25 v2 the cinelog 35, the new Geprc tern40 and the audity 250. HELLLLLPPP PLEASE LOL
What is your FPV skill level?
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 🤣🤣🤣 zero. This will be my first fpv that is why I was attracted to gps. I have a Mavic pro but that does not compare to this type of flying.
@@CarlosRodriguez-vg2obYikes! You will have a few months of total destroying. Go with the smallest size FPV Drone (Cinelog 25) and do yourself a favor and spend hours on an FPV sim.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 oh man I was hoping to start with the missile that the chimera is lol . Just kidding. The cinelog25 sounds good but. I just have to wrap my head around the really short flight times and I think that is the one thing that is attracting me to the tern40. Specially to get some distance like I do with the Mavic and the potential 15 plus minutes of flight times.. I just received my goggles 2 and I’m about to order the TBS tango 2 controller. I can’t wait

Edit: can you please review the bubito fpv drone, its a really good free style nano fpv drone, its made by bubby fpv from rotor riot, thanks
How does this compare with the Darkstar 20 for a sub 250g cinewhoop that can do some freestyle?
The DARKSTAR is a bare minimum design and a blast to fly. The CINELOG series is known as the WORKHORSE series… very well built, strong, versatile, vibration dampening, etc
Great video. I cannot see where cinelog25 v2 with o3 available for sale. Is it because I am in the uk
It will show up on the GEPRC website this coming week (delays), keep checking.
Does this version still have the extremely brittle propguards?
If you crash often, everything will eventually break. Mine is still in perfect condition with just a few scratches on the bottom from multiple landings on pavement/concrete.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 that's true, but on my v1 I had to replace those propguards more often than I had to replace the props on my freestyle quad
Do you prefer this to the Defender 25 ?
I like this because I can use my own batteries. For the Defender series, I like the Defender 16.
I wonder why the called it the v2 instead of Cinelog25 O3?
Because there is already a CINELOG 25, with different Supports/Flight Controller/motors, so since there is more than a camera upgrade, it had to become a new version.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 there was a new Mark5 but they called it O3 so was just curious why they didn’t carry on yeah trend. Anyways when are GEPRC making this available!
Any chance you can send me the betaflight factory firmware for this drone? I accidentally wiped mine lol
Sorry, I get asked that daily from everyone new to the FPV hobby. If was a drone tech help service I’d make millions providing such a service, but I’m not such a service as there is zero available time for it. You’ll have to get it from the company website.
They are not mad, your (this) video is on there GEPRC webside.... And i know that because i just orderd one🎊🥳
GEPRC loves me for sure! you’ll certainly enjoy the Cinelog 25 V2 (good choice).
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Thanks Steve ! it should arrive soon now.🥳 (watching the video again) 😎
Boy you started a firestorm by releasing this video early!
As the start of the video says… there was no reason NOT to release the vid as it was originally planned for release in September as indicated by GEPRC. I never heard from GEPRC that the release was delayed. Now other channels are upset as they believe I’m stealing the limelight. I can’t be bothered with turning the vid off because the cat is long out of the bag now. The good news is that GEPRC still loves me and they don’t mind all the interest (no such thing as bad publicity). 😀
Is a 6s version of this would be a good idea ?
Perhaps in the future
would it be harder to flight ?@@CAPTAINDRONE798

It was supposed to have been released in September but Geprc delayed the release and forget to tell me, hence my confused look at the start of the vid. Geprc is working hard to release the product very soon. Keep checking the Geprc site and you should see it soon.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 maybe they're too busy for many orders coming to them, because my order of moz7 took a week and few days to ship...and i think it's because of the 1week holiday in china happened last week...
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 too busy packing orders,so they have no time to do a promotional video and release the v2 cinelog25..well i think 🤔
GEPRC tells me the release date is this week.
Hi Steve thank you very much for the video. I have been waiting for a drone that can be able fly on both windy conditions and indoors. Can this be the one?
Indoors, certainly. Outdoors, certainly. Normal windy days, no problem. Very windy/gusty days, it would be affected by the wind.
Is there any drone that you recommend for very windy/gusty conditions + indoors? Or shall I continue waiting for one to be released:)
@@sonceler All 5" and most 4" quads are amazing in strong winds, but impossible to fly indoors. For indoors/outdoors your only options are the 2.5" drones. Now it goes without saying that in the FPV hobby the pilots skills are the most important. Unlike the beginner drones such as DJI Mavics & Minis, the FPV Hobby requires pilot skills, and those skills take years to develop. Once an FPV Pilot has great skills, then even the smallest of FPV drones can be easily flown in strong winds as well as even the largest of FPV drones can be flown indoors.
Listen, the fact is most of the complaints ive seen is due to the release of this video... now the video isnt very long and if anything i watch several videos on a drone before i buy it. And i never buy on the first one... by the 4th or so if i want to buy, i use that affiliate link... not even on the first... and i think most are that way... so why are you all worried... great video Steve... ill still want others perspective too.
Someone with common sense! Refreshing. Also, the bone head at Drone Camps is claiming that I released a video in advance for some personal gain (this guy is like 9 years old, and I stole his lunch money). There is No gain to Captain Drone channel as there is NO DRONE for viewers to buy. In addition GEPRC is not overly concerned as it brought anticipation to their next product launch. The CINELOG 25 V2 was scheduled for launch in September, as my video stated, hence I though I was launching my video late. GEPRC had then scheduled the launch for end of last week, and now moved it to next week, so there was no reason to remove the video by any party.... other than the guy I stole the lunch money from.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I'm just happy to watch, lol mostly everywhere you look these days, people always find a way to complain... I mean, I get people do make money on all this but... the first guy to make a paintbrush doesn't have a monopoly on them.
