wow, this really is my dream. and im going to work my hardest to be a student in that room when im done with highschool. its so amazing 😀
Graeme Facteau it's really interesting, the first classes that they set you up with are really fun as well. I'm an online student but I'm planning on attending on campus for the fall. Hope you apply! It's worth it.
How is the online? I am curious as I am in the process of switching from my tech school.
My dream tooo
@@tiptop7327 Hahaha yeahhhh, i went to a different school, sounds like a made the right choice
@@graemefacteau2068 that guy is trolling. it's ok to say this school or anything good and bad but reason?
there are other schools like this one, full-sail. AAU, cca. and what? private school always being targeted. i bet this guy never turn in homework and got a lot F grades, then he came here saying its not his fault lmao.
I love academy of arts university, but I don't have money yet, to school there but I hope I can get a schoolardhip someday. I'm from Nigeria, and one day I believe I will school here in academy of arts university, as a game development student, animation and graphic design.
I honestly don't know why anyone thinks this is a bad school, and I want to ask you guys if you've ever attended this school? How are your grades?
If you don't turn in homework every day in class or don't study hard enough (get many F grades), then rant about this school sucks; this is a scam school. Well, I have nothing to say about that.
You can indeed learn most things from UA-cam and udemy, that's true. You can learn most programming skills from youtube, and the courses are even better. The problem is that when you have a problem, you have no one to ask. Sure, there are always some nice people online, but imagine trying to create a game, a design. People online can't just sit there and wait for you to ask them all the questions; you still need a teacher.
Is this school a scam?
A: I personally don't think so.
Is this school expensive?
A: Private school, compared to other public UC schools, is quite expensive.
How is the quality of teaching at this school?
A: By major, I know the design, painting, and game majors are of high quality.
How are the teachers at this school?
A: Most of the teachers are professional, but there are some annoying teachers (for example, I met a feminist teacher, you can see that she doesn't like any male, although she is skillful, yet I don't like her. So I chose to switch to another professor). But this is a private school, you are the one who pays the money, and you are their boss; if you dislike a teacher, tell your advisor that you can change to a better teacher.
Overall. Many great students study here, and I know some perfect grades from the University of Michigan transfer students. I can understand a lot of the online reviews saying negative things about this school. But my own experience is that this university has a shallow barrier to entry (private schools pay to attend, it won't look for your grade in high school or sat) and an equally low graduation rate. After all, many people don't like to study, procrastinate and have low ability. Those who can graduate from this school are serious about listening to lectures and doing homework.
I think the quality of teaching is fine, and many capable people in the industry are teachers here. So I don't think it's objective to say that it's a "Scam" school.
going today
This is good and all but what is the title of the music used in here??
Currently pursuing a diploma in Game Development and technology, planning to further my studies in this school after completing my Diploma :)
You are making a huge mistake. Tuition is enormous and you gain nothing (including connections) that you couldn't get from a community college. Only kids with previous ties to the market take on valuable positions.
How do I get into gameplay ai development
Does anyone know the price range to the entire program? Including dorms, and all the other stuff.
Kuro Maru I just talked to someone about admission, and they said that each unit cost $963. The game development program has 132 units. So the total will be $127,116 for the whole program. Dont know about dorms and such.
@@Daniel-th3dh jesus, worse than the uk, over 10 times worse
@@Daniel-th3dh I would kill myself with that debt
@@oo--7714 but you also get work studies and stuff that I would assume you get paid to do as well
@@Daniel-th3dh just got done talking with the school and it’s not as expensive as your saying.
Well I know where I’m going
Is this just in America
I want to come here so bad
Where is this school?
White Raven San Francisco, California
My only problem is that you're a University. Even with my special program to help me out with grades I still wouldn't be able to get it.
Coud you give me game design school address for my son please!
Horrid school. Do not do it. Send him to community college. His debt will be enormous.
@@kevinchang1371 lol
The 1 dislike is a jealous kid who doesn't have what it takes to attend.
Or a professor who failed over 85% of his junior class. This school has an incredibly bad professional reputation for professors who do not care and usually only work shifts here as part timers. Tough to incentivize professors who don't really want to be there to begin with. This place is all kinds of bad and if you're dumb enough not to investigate, you deserve the debt you will incur.
Or the money
@@kevinchang1371 man, you got scammed
@@oo--7714 I got out quickly after realizing what the school was about. Don't particularly want it on my resume to be honest. It's sad what places like this do to people who could receive better educations from PDfs online :/
why do i have to live in the UK...
Creative Commando Ha at least UK is way better than what they have here in India
@@roshanpk9101 Indian here, totally man. I want to go to USA for a game design degree
@@mellow5347 just so u know theres a lot of cons being in the us
Mate there is tons of different options in the uk Glasgow and Edinburgh now having proper games studios
? you can still go here even if u live in the UK, if that was what u were referring too. If u were referring to the video game market then yeah I guess that sucks.
After Highschool
talk about programing ?????????????????????????????
if you want to focus on programming, youre better off taking a CS course
I know where I’m gong
Shout Out SONY playstation! From Baby Shannon 🤨!.lolmhgg!
There is no need to go university. U can learn online through udemy and youtube.

Don't get me wrong, it is ok to say this is a scam school, but reason?
If you brainlessly say this is a good school without giving me a reason, then to me, you are not mature enough either.
If you are a mature person, you should say why.
Simple enough, you say this is a bad school. Tell me why it's bad. (I give you my reasons why I think this is not bad school.)
Imagine your mom makes you a nice dinner, and someone asks you how your mom cooks.
An average person would say, I think cooking is excellent because xxxxxxx (reasons).
Unreasonable people: I don't care, I don't care, it is bad, a scam, there is no reason. I don't like it. I don't care.
This is my dream currently in 7th grade but hell yeah ima make a remix of fortnite and make it better (no mechs)
