you should try using 1x1 suspension at 0 or 1 resistance to stop the bouncing.And it will be easy to hide in the car
You should add straight piece that tells AI-car to slow down before turn (partially colored same as turn piece). Also maybe self-destruct button for lost cars if there is room for dynamite.
Niko Rentola you dont need self destruct you can turn off the thrusters
@@kuttispielt7801 I know but if you spawn a new one, you can't use it without activating old one. Not that that's a big deal.
It's pretty cool but can you try to add new pieces like a cross section, a lane changer or even a loop!
If kan gonna do a cross the car maybe easier to get loose of the track

There was a Slot Car race Multiplayer Monday, over 2 years ago.
1. Make a track piece where you can choose on with Lane you want to ride next. Than you can race with 3 or more people and still be able to pass each other.
2. Make an 1 lane track piece.
3. Make an S bend piece.
4.Make a large slope. Or better a slope with 3 pieces: a piece from flat to ramp. A ramp piece that is entirely sloped without going flat. And a piece from ramp to flat.
Suggestion: add a counter near the lap counter that when a car gets to the number set in this new counter, It stops
I love making a things as modules. Whether it’s LEGO or scrap mechanic, I love connecting my creations into larger creations. I also love how each piece connects. This is exciting to watch.

Kan, i think you need to let the pins spin in their own directions! Just make the track 2 wide and then use double pins Both on their own bearing i think that is one of the issues because when the pin wants the spin Both ways it Just gets stuck and flips out.
You should try suspention so they dont bounce as much
I wonder if the slot pins are connected with a free floating bearing.... maybe it'd act like a wheel rolling over the polygons instead of crashing into them.
I think the big problem is on the speed sensor system with the color detection, when the AI car is racing on a straight line and switch on a corner there is the bouncing thing appening, so to counter that maybe do a sensor system place on the extremities of your track parts, this would be on the straights lines parts and it detect the color of the attached part and it will deploy, in function of the color, a short colored panel to warn the car with the correct color before it went on the corner, i'm not sure if its clear enought 😅
I was gunna say challenge mode but I saw the moded slant parts. You should still do a racetrack and have people race AI cars.
Me the challenge mode part
Paint the bottom of the track with a differ color than black on the curves and put a color sensor on the ai's so when they take a turn they slow down
Make some 4 player logic so that you have 2 cars on each track. Then, make some 1 way cross tracks as well. Also make a change so that the lap counter applies for each individual car not that line of track
Try putting the pegs on bearings so they can roll, hopefully that isn't going to completly destroy the game physics

Widen the slot so you can use tiny wheels in the slot to keep the bouncing to a minimum.
I have the Modpack and the Modpack Polygons installed, but the start line doesn’t spawn?
What if you made a heavier car eg. A pickup truck (that is a Ai of course)
Less thruster boost or stiff af suspension
if you were to use a pipe as the rail i doubt that the cars would bounce as much and move much more smoothly

Kan i think the problem is with wheels hitting the sides and the fix for it maybe is using suspension
Increase the down thrust and put on max stiffness suspension
A lot of slot car racing is controlling your throttle to make sure your car doesn't fly off the track. The thrusters kinda take away from that...

If you have Wheels under the track it will stop all the problems but you wud have to delete some track for it to fall through and then replace it but it wud not bounce
