- Today we are going to be using the new Deluxe Water Layout Blind in The Hunter Call of the Wild as we check out the WATERFOWL REWORK in Revontuli Coast in Early Access! Thank you Expansive Worlds!!! We will be working with decoys, callers (when there is one - not all ducks have a caller) and of course shotguns and we are using the Virant .22LR with the new trunicated bullets! Waterfowl hunting after this update are definitely going to be a lot more challenging and a lot more fun! Today we are specificall hunting Goldeneye Ducks, Greylag Geese and Eurasian Wigeon! As well as a few Canadian Geese! Revontuli Release Date is June 28, 2022 on all 3 platforms! Hit the LIKE if you're excited! Who loves new content??? Everytime I see a Goldeneye coming in I'll be singing that Tina Turner song in my head ! 🤣 Love how they land. That's such a cool design feature. It would be great if Expansive World did a video on how they make these things they're so impressive. No two rocks or leaves are the same. So realistic! Amazing 👏
This is arguably the update I hate the most, I love the idea, and I think the ducks needed to move faster, but not THIS fast. They don’t land anywhere near my decoys. It’s more frustrating than fun imo
Thanks for all your tips n tricks, admittedly not watched so many vids but you're one of two-three go-to's when looking for some useful hints. Atm hunting the 19 on Revontuli map, pretty much started. The caller-less birdies are so hard to find and I'm not just talking about finding a gold specimen. I can hear them, I have all the callers but, I can't see them, just hear them lol! Hard but fun, tho!
And as a finn - although born and raised in Sweden - I can confirm that the environment in the map is spot on. That's how Finland's forrests look like, atleast where my parents are from, southern Finland. Good job! Very informative videos. Loved the one on Silverridge Mts. about the air-rifle and hunting pronghorns.

I’m running crawling up the wall excited to play this map!! I love how the waterfowl fly and land, tho the amount of circling they do before they land is a bit excessive I think..

2:19 reminds me of the geese on hirsh. Sometimes they fly in a v formation and you can’t spot them or shoot them.

from what i have seen i think some of the ducks move too fast, yes its a challenge but like you said in the video they are hard to spot cause of there speed. would like to see the other maps with the pop resets to see how much has changed and to see if the previous ducks in the game work better now.

I am looking forward to playing this map I think EW did a really good job on this map and a really good job getting the new maps and updates pass console certification and getting it out on all 3 platforms at the same time i am looking forward to you hopefully get early access to call of the wild the angler

I'm curious if this will effect the traditional way of hunting geese in Hirschfelden. Will I no longer be able to sit in a tripod stand and wait for them to land amongst my decoys. I use those geese to level up my shotgun and handgun scores early on.
I do look forward to trying out this new map, and I fully agree that the devs have done an outstanding job. The scenery is simply gorgeous. My only worry is will this update add to the CPU/GPU workload on the older consoles. (Xbox One & PS4)

Did they update the graphics?? Man it looks good. If they did, I wonder if they're going to overhaul the older maps as well or if that'd be too big of an undertaking and more of a 'COTW 2' situation.

Kind of a dumb question but do we have to buy the decoys or do we get some free ones?
With the goose DLC you got some free so I imagine they would give you some when you buy the map
It would be useful if instead of reloading the shotgun all the way u could stop reloading after 2 or 3 shells! Great shooting your a legend!

When you walk up to it, it should tell you on the screen
Anyone noticed that the previous two g1s could be killed with the 243 so the next g1 could very be the same…this is just a theory though it’s hard to tell…
So that only leaves it to the lynx which is probably not going to be the G1

If you wanna know how good you are at shooting, go bird hunting now and you´ll quickly get to know your real skill level - Cuz they´re REALLY freaking difficult now!!
The fowl post patch is so much fun! They´re extremely hard to shoot (in the air atleast) now, it really makes for a massive amount of fun. Before I got the leading on my shots dialed in, and I was able to easily pluck entire flocks of geese from the sky - - When I grinded for cash and XP, I ran 2x.22 = 20 shots in total, but now I´m lucky to get more then 5 within 20 shots :D I LOVE the new challenge!
I completely agree! I had a viewer tell me I was a bad shot in one of my first videos lol. I'm really not. But they're hard! Wait til he has to shoot them lol!

@@LadyLegendXO I was new like when the silver ridge peak came out so when rancho came out there was UA-camrs who had early access I was like OMG, I hop on my Xbox, nope it wasn't there lol, I was so confused.
I'm happy EW and Avalanche have stepped up the game with The Angler. And now they have expanded out of Sweden with new offices in NYC. Sounds like more new games in the future.

Hello lady! I am a real life hunter from norway, there i hunt for rock ptarmigans. And that is like a seasonal hobby, so it is perfect that the hunter cotw releases a map with ptarmigans. But i want to experience the new map on my own so i will come back and watch this video when im done exploring the new map that is coming out tomorrow❤️👍🏼🦌🔫

This map is gonna be a challenge I’ve playing it all day I’ve had luck with the bigger animals but the small ones are impossible

If they make it so grinding no longer works and Diamonds and great ones are simply random without killing massive amounts
I got all my Canada Goose decoys in the middle of a lake and I couldn't get them all, they are stuck
