That makes me SO HAPPY! I usually have a raspy-nasal-Chicago-accent, but I've been working hard on making my voice sound kinder on the ear! Thank you for commenting!
Yes!! Listening to other hygienists or dentists ‘scripting’ and then having those phrases, explanations in your head makes conversations with patients so much easier!!
The background music is perfect and not annoying. Only recommendation is slightly lower it. Your personality makes your videos so lovely and you rock :)
i am just about to start my job and i still worry about correctly assembling XCPs 😂😂🤦♀️ I also think having an established dialogue about certain topics keeps you on track and makes you sound more confident!
Hi I'm student who majoring in dental hygiene in korea while I watching this video your energy come to me!!!👍 actually l was little exhausted recently😌 💨 expecting your next video good luck! : )
Im so so glad I bumped into your channel! I didn’t know what I wanted to study for .. I have been doing my research I definitely know I want to become a Dental Hygienist!! 😃
I find it rude for the client to ask questions like '' how long have you been working here? '' I have never asked these kind of questions to any of the dentists I have been to. BUT the customer is always right? Right?
I had a deep cleaning with a new hygienist. It was awful. She gave very painful shots. I should have asked for an experienced hygienist. We have the right to have the best experience. Also, we can ask for the Dentist if the procedure is going wrong. I mean this in a positive way. Communicating our needs, takes practice, we are not used to asking questions regarding our health services. Now, I ask how many years a hygienist has. I do not want them practicing on me. The office staff does not mind me asking and they are so helpful in finding the right hygienist for my needs.
Whitney, UA-cam paired a really sporty ad pertaining to auto care with this video! HAHA! It was about cleaning, though; is that the common denominator?? ;)
So excited you're interested in dentistry! I have a video all about what to do in HS! Hope this helps: teethtalkgirl.com/rdh/high-school-to-become-a-hygienist?rq=high%20school
I’ve been trying for the past two years to get into hygiene school. My counselor suggested since Florida is so competitive, I should get my license in dental assisting while I wait for the next round of applications next year. I’m told it will only help me more on my applications. Here’s hoping! In the meantime I stumbled upon your videos and they are awesome! You are giving me a great view on what the life of a dental hygienist might be like. Keep up the great work! You have a new subscriber haha!

I'd want to know how long someone has been in their carreer before they head into my mouth with sharp objects.
just making conversation and I'm interested in the people I meet. If it's early days I will go the extra mile to help them be confident.
@@sadiehaury1480 and if they say it’s their first day would you really say sorry, i don’t want a cleaning anymore? lol
