This theme was and still is my absolute favorite of Advance 2's amazing soundtrack. I remember playing this level for the first time back in 2003, fully expecting the normal boss theme, but then this theme came out of nowhere and made itself KNOWN. It hit me right at the start with that bold orchestra hit melody and that loud, pumping drum beat. It was absolutely oozing with tension, and the pinch cranked that tension to 11. At the time, I had no idea there was a sound test in this game, so I used to re-play this boss over and over just to hear its theme again. All that being said, I really hope I did the track justice with this remix! ^^

A bit of metal slug at the beginning. Then it becomes the classic gravity boss everyone of us knows, plus the second best cutscene in the GBA history (the first is sonic advance 3 nonaggression ending)

After listening to this several times and discovering the collab with Silent Dreams which this might have taken inspiration from, I can’t go back to the GBA original without the descending melody at 1:06.

This boss fight music is still one of my absolute favourites and im so glad i found a remix that does it perfect justice! (Even if the switch from pinch to extra ending does sound a little jarring)

Good ear! I updated the whole mix before the Zone 7 album's release. I wasn't really happy with how it sounded before
