Watching my childhood inspiration play a game that I worked on is absolutely unreal! I wouldn't have been so interested in games without your old let's plays. Now we've gone full circle! They’re so cute! When Evelien uploaded her Backrooms video with Seán, I wasn’t sure if we’d get one on his Channel. Evelien mentioned that she became intimidated by the size of his audience when the two of them were about to record another Observation Duty episode. I’m not sure why, since she’s made lots of appearances on Seán’s Channel and vice versa. Maybe she still feels bad about some of her viewers giving out to him the last time he joined one of her Nancy Drew Streams on Twitch. I hope what I just said doesn’t sound like I’m calling her out (goddamn anxiety is at it again!). I’m just glad they both still record together when the mood strikes them. Seán and Evelien are just too adorable!
As an american southerner, i felt great pride when Seàn cracked open that Almond Water and exclaimed “4th of July!” in a terrible yet hilarious southern accent.
I always love when two people upload the same game play but from each others perspectives because there's so many funny moments from one perspective vs the other. Definitely watched Evelien play this already and still cracked up watching Sean play it as well. 😂
Date collabs are genuinely the cutest thing. I love the combo of Evelien's calm, adorableness and Seans chaotic adorableness. My heart feels full. Sure, they were screaming while running from that modern art project monster, but it was very entertaining.

I think that's more for the channels trying to be family friendly which Sean has never identified as. He puts up the content that he would want to watch and doesn't try to pander. Mad respect for that.
54:24 I like that Jack comments on there being two “primary” versions of the backrooms: the Kane Pixels version, where there is just one infinite series of yellow rooms with strange entities in it, and the community wiki version that this game appears to be based on, with multiple levels, items like the almond water and a few select entities on each level. I don’t think there needs to be any competition over which “version” is better, because they’re both just creative interpretations of the same liminal concept.

It depends on how long you're in there he tends to show up more and get more agressive the longer you're there. He also tends to knock or cough so you'll know when he's near.
There is a certain happiness that you can only see in a healthy couple, so watching this was a treat as I don't see many. Love the video, and thanks for being a good influence.

Why does everything in the backrooms want to kill you? That's my question. Like, why not have some creatures that just kind of exist or maybe are even friendly? What if Meat Man just wants a friend but most people who see him run in terror but sometimes someone doesn't fill their diaper the second they see him and they find out that Meat Man just wants to help? Or maybe like, some dog-like creature that will be friendly or attack you depending on how you treat it? You know, stuff like that. Also I agree with so many people in the comments, Evelien should be in more videos, the dynamic that Sean shares with her is precious!
theres a lot of entities like that !! theres a dog entity that has some cool, royal sounding name, that just walks around! theres this camera head lookin' people that would literally kill for you, and a few others that are very helpful in the backrooms!! im sure theres tons, but unfortunately most of the monsters just want to kill you :(
She seems like a great person to co-op with. So chill and funny. She's a great counter balance to Jack's crazy personality. I'd love to see more of her on this channel. 🙂
I thought this when I watched on Evelien’s channel, but the little girl’s voice in the fun section sounds a lot like Spooky from a certain house of jumpscares. Unfortunately it was cut down a lot in Jack’s video, but I’d recommend it if you fancy some nostalgia.

A world/or realm of supernatural and paranormal horror that people accidentally fall into and are seemingly never able to return home and are instead trapped FOREVER in "The Backrooms."
Hi Seán! I’ve just finished playing this game called Gris, and I think you’d love it. It’s a really peaceful game, with a deep story. There’s no talking or interaction in it, but it’s still capable to tell an amazing story. The art style is beautiful and the music is also beautiful.
Love when Sean and Evelien colab their personalities and bond mesh so well together ❤ Wish Sean would update the unedited all most 3 hours long version like Evelien, left out a lot of funny moments.

the backrooms has this thing called the bathroom, that can just appear at any level when you have to relieve your bowels and it will shut itself forever and not let you relieve said bowels until you're far enough away from it, probably the most terrifying part of the backrooms imo

Also I'm not sure if this is just on my end but I thought the link to Evelien's channel looked weird and when I clicked on it it kept bringing me to a 404 error page. Not sure what happened there, but maybe it's just my computer being weird.
