Thanks for showing the cot inside the tent. It's been so hard to know the internal useable area for our blow up bed and now I know it will fit for sure as I also have one of those cots! Cheers!
Great review. This is just what our family needs to compliment our small camper trailer. Seeing the bed inside the tent has answered the questions we had.
Excellent review, thank you for sharing it. Am in the market for a RTT, but strongly considering the RV-5 as an alternative. Your video is most helpful in making that decision.
Thank you for this, I have the same tent rv5 it's one of the amazing tents I have ever bought I really recommend it specially if you are camping with a family. Thank you again for the Video
I've had my eye on these for awhile. I currently have a Springbar Vagabond 7 (10'x14'). It's a massive tent. It's been absolutely awesome and relatively quick to put up too, I can generally get it pitched in about 15 minutes (solo). My son has moved out and now it's just me, my wife and daughter. I'd like to downsize a bit. I'm either going to get a smaller Springbar or try an Oz tent. My specific question is concerning the cots. We have a set of cots called Disc-O-bed. They can stack like bunk beds. I'm not worried about the fit length wise as I can tell by your video that the bottom cot will make it. I'm a little worried about the height of the top bunk. Since that tent slopes, and the top bunk sits at 32" tall (83" long), will there be enough room to make it without touching the tent wall. Any info you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
wymore73 Dis you ever get the answer to your question? I have the same cot and was wondering the same thing. I also wonder how he feels about this tent after two years of use and if it held up well.
Sir, I understand the tent poles are not adequate for the continuous load use. That much beefier poles are required. How much does it weight? As I would be using on my own, could I pick up one end and drag the tent to my setup location? Or would I require some sort of small Kayak wheels (?). I realize some tent sites do not allow a vehicle to off load on site. I have a state park nearby I would have to drag this tent possibly 30 to 50 feet before setup. I am 63, not the best shape, as I am a disabled warrior.
I would recommend some sort of wheels if you are carrying it any distance, it is pretty heavy as it weighs in around 55 pounds. As far as the pole strength, I have had it set up for weeks at a time and in winds up to 30 mph and have never had a pole issue.

+Abdullah S Thanks for the kind words.
Thanks for sharing this is the tent I want but was unsure if it would fit two cots which you addressed thanks
+LFH02 That was the exact problem that I had looking at the tents online. Glad I could help.
Now for the worst part getting the wallet out ha ha. thanks again.
Well that question is gone now. Thanks for the video it helped alot. Have you had any problems with it in the rain or snow?
I have not had it out in the snow yet, but have had it in several drenching downpours and have not had any leaking issues whatsoever.

Would you say it would be good in the winter? would the snow gather anywhere?

Thank you sir.
Amazing tents and incredibly engineered. Unfortunately I can't afford them.
nice review wildernessways, was that a wolf pup at the end of vid.? LOL
+1uptospeed He would like to think that he is, but alas he is a German Shepherd (Who is a whole lot bigger than when I shot this video!)
They are super fast hey!
