In this performance, David Ruffin does his hit solo song "My Whole World Ended (The Moment You Left Me). I love hearing when the Temptations incorporate their solo work into the group.
If only we could hear Dennis do some of his Contours' tunes, some of Glenn's previous group "The True Reflection", and personally, I would've really liked to hear Richard do some of his Monitors' songs. It's really a shame he missed out on the Monitors' reunion later. Can you imagine "Greetings, This is Uncle Sam" live?
I learned a lot throughout the editing of this video. I had no idea there was an unreleased David Ruffin album entitled "David" not released until 2004, unfortunately over a decade since he passed. I also learned there was more than zero pictures of David with a lion, which I can't say I expected.
