I'm glad Damon Harris got a shout out here. He's the one Temptation great who I really felt bad for. David and Eddie both fell out with the group, but at least they returned for the reunion as well as the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame induction. Paul left the group because of his health, but at least he was a founding member and a part of the Classic 5. Richard's ending wasn't great. He says he and Otis fell out. But at least he got in 22 years with the group and participated in the reunion and on several TV specials. But for Damon, it was kind of a raw deal. I'm sure singing with the group he grew of loving & replacing his mentor was a dream come true. But being kicked out of the group just as you are catching stride had to be a bummer for him. And Damon was never invited back for anything. He did sing with Eddie Kendricks and Dennis Edwards from what understand. But he never rejoined the group.

Dennis sounded great, but his voice was a little strained here. I don't know if he had a cold or if his voice was worn out from all that singing. Or maybe it was the sound system. His best performance of this song in my opinion was the one in 1975 when they were wearing the white jump suits.
