Asura way too strong? No doubt about it. Can someone imagine Asura knocking Spiderman to the moon, then destroying the moon with him(like he did with Oni) while only 50% of Spidey's HP would be gone. Honestly Im surprised they put in Dante, or that Marvel let Hulk in. That Shrek on steroids demolishes buildings with one single punch.. If you put Hulk vs that Trained soldier from Capcom(forgot his name), that soldier should be legit dead after one REGULAR attack. But na, only 5% of his HP is gone instead.
The nerf they would have to do on Asura would be ridiculous.
I would love to see some sengoku basara representation in marvel vs capcom. Imagine date masamune interacting with Dante.

You forget that Asura never changed clothes for over 20,000 years

I don't think the stone statues are actually them. It's more likely that people noticed two godlike beings fighting there and made the statues to honor them when they were gone. They're legends.

Oni had finally found someone who could outmatch him. Before the Oni transformation, Akuma had only sought out power and someone who could finally match his strength. This fight is the closest thing we've seen to Oni having a wet dream

Asura is one of my top 3 favorite video game characters of all time. Shame he wasn't in Marvel vs Capcom infinite. They missed a really good opportunity to replace Mike Hagar.
It's amazing. Every now and then I replay the Gods of Death chapter or re-watch A life well lived. I'll never forget it.

It's a joke about the fact that Oni (Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition) was first revealed back in 2012 (I think?), the Dragonball movie "Resurrection of 'F" came out in 2015(?) which means Oni predates SSJB by 2-3 years.

FoxOwne I just think that Akuma can punch through dimensions. Just like how he easily kicked ryu to another dimension. That’s why he’s all over the place looking for a worthy opponent.
A lot of people enjoy watching people fight those who are stronger, because it allows the weakee fighter to push past his/her limits and rise to new heights.
Me personally, I enjoy fights like these, where the opponents are evenly matched. The fight could go on forever and you wouldn't be able to tell who will lose. Like with these two. They keep each other even and are locked in an eternal stalemate. This is a true fight.

Fun fact: Goku has never truly won a fight with Vegeta. He may have over-powered him in Z but in terms of canon fights between the two the closest Goku was to defeating Vegeta *on his own* was the Galick gun vs Kaioken x4 Kamehameha clash.
@@mikedanielespeja6128 Well Vegeta himself said Goku could have beaten him during the Buu saga fight because Goku had ssj3 but didnt use it because he didnt want to hurt Vegeta's pride further but in doing so after Vegeta found out hurt him most of all because Goku was holding back the entire time while Vegeta was going all out. I mean it would suck if you basically sold you soul to be on even ground against your rival only to find out he held back because he didnt want to make you feel bad.
