- Welcome to Control. In this video, I'm showing a bit of some early gameplay from the game. So far the game is pretty fun & it's actually harder than I thought it would be. I don't have many upgrades in this recording so the gameplay is pretty basic, although I tried to play to the best of my ability. I may make another gameplay video on this once I progress further into the game.

The combat in this game is incredibly satisfying Remedy never disappoint when it comes to gameplay.
One of my all time favorites. Great combat, engrossing lore, and a metroidvania??? Yes, please!
That hover/flight mechanic was perfect. Felt very dream like, and I'm pretty sure that's sorta the vibe they were going for in this game.
Very well optimized too, when I first played it I was playing on a potato laptop with only 8gs of ram, a decent processor and graphics cards and as long as I kept all the graphics down it ran great and also looked great, still had a lot of cool particle affects with minimal performance issues.

This is somewhat what Scarlet Witch should look like in Avengers Game.
The MCU definitely needs more tie-in games. There's a major demand for them.
More powers and less gun use.

If so then here's how I'd do it:
Obviously no guns
Have a melee that would fit her style like her using her powers close up if that makes sense?
Keep the telekinesis
Keep the telepathy but have a more amplified version in a super move
With shield u can make it so that it creates a sphere around u, making it so that ur protected from all sides but u can still shoot magic from in the sphere but only the bullet like magic
I really like the evade ability but i dont think she has that ability. Still I would keep it
Make it so she's a fully flying character and u can shoot magic while flying
Maybe have something reminiscent of the close up blast that's in this game
In Avengers Game there is a "weapons" bar that lets u flick between different "weapons", maybe have that for Scarlet Witch but with normal bullet like magic stuff shooting it, the telekinetic lift (objects) with an option to choke people and the last bar ability could be a magic like laser u can shoot from one hand or both (same option with the bullet like blast)
For the supers as I said have one for telepathy, but also keep telepathy outside of that and make it something like what this game has done and by making it a super move u can make it something like in Age of Ultron and Wandavision with her giving people or bots nightmare like visions or dreams but in the game make it so that u can see them freaking out and it will lead to them dying or passing out (whatever happens with the human enemies in the game) and with bots just make them malfunction or something but yeah as a normal move make it something like this game but in a super move have it so that an "explosion" like thing occurs and lots of enemies suffer wut i was explaining, for another super move I feel like u can have a different one depending on who's in ur team. Lemme elaborate. If quicksilver is on ur team then u can have a team up ability but if he's not u can have something like a healing ability and for ur ultimate ability have it so that chaos magic I think it's called, explodes and kills enemies in a nearby radius while also granting u more strength for 30 seconds when a new combat encounter happens, u can kinda understand why i would want it to come on when u get into another fight
Her takedowns could be ripping aim bots apart (only for aim bots) u could probably put that in as an actual ability too with u picking a rip option for aim bots and a choke option for humans (as I was discussing earlier) and u can rip whatever u want off the bot or choke how hard or long u want with the humans, another takedown could be picking up someone with telekinesis and throwing them across the place (like with regular telekinesis in or something not its an actual animation thing. Just go all out with the takedowns.
For her iconic outfit I would like to see a mixture of her comic version and her MCU version with long hair and a kind of darker red like what the MCU did.
Also in Control when u fly (also in avengers game i would like Wanda to levitate as well, like the other flying heros in the current roster) u can smash into the ground im pretty sure. I don't want Wanda to have that. To me it just doesn't fit. Also with the shield I would like to see in avengers game obviously cuz i made it a bit OP it would have quite a reduced time use and a 5 minute regeneration wait. For the choke and rip thing u would have the choice cuz that would be activated by doing normal telekinesis but to activate it just press a button to do so. So u can do normal telekinesis with objects and people and bots but when u pick up the bots or people then that's when u get the the option in the bottom right corner.
If u have anymore ideas please tell me and if u are confused on how to integrate this in to the games world and gameplay and AI and all that with other questions like how would all these options be able to fit as u probably might think there's not enough buttons on the controller i will tell u.
i always wished for a game with combat like this, shit that makes you feel godly and is hella satisfying. masterpiece of a game 10/10

Just started the game last night. I can already tell this is a masterpiece. I got the same feels I got playing Half Life or GTA IV for the first time. And it's horror! It's a horror game that isn't too slow or scary to play. I find that a triumph as well.

You can tell this is by the same studio who made Max Payne 1 and 2. Magnificent level design and third-person action. I only wish Rockstar handed off the level-designing of Max Payne 3 to Remedy, because that would've given it so much replayability value.
The level design in payne 3 is very solid too except a few lackluster favela levels.

Haha, nope. I stand by my opinion that Max Payne 3 has the best gameplay of the trilogy, but the worst level design. Levels were too linear most of the time, and the cutscenes, which doubled as loading screens, really destroyed the pacing of the game. Just as I started getting into my groove, the game would come to a grinding halt by forcing me to watch most of a cutscene before moving on.
Where the gameplay really shined was in open, sandbox areas that featured tons of cover and alternate routes, e.g., the cemetery level, the small cubicle section of the Brazilian office building level, some parts of the police station level, and some parts of the airport level. Additionally, if Rockstar had taken the multiplayer maps and placed them into a horde-style mode (similar to Resident Evil's Mercenaries mode), that would've given the game a ton of replayability. You can tell that Rockstar's strength in level design lies more in open-world games than linear games.

@@swiftyunknown It's exhausting and challenging, and at times, somewhat clunky. The game doesn't feel elegant at all, at least starting out, but the more you learn, the faster you can play and that process of discovery is intoxicating to me. I feel like it's the kind of game I will need to take breaks from because just figuring stuff out is so tiring. I like it, though.
Yeah I've heard it starts out kinda slow, but the more you play it the more you want to play it.
I've mostly been enjoying Classic WoW in my spare time.

Makes me miss Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy. Definitely one of the memorable games imo, but this is definitely a solid follow up for people to experience this kind of gameplay.

Does the game have difficulty levels? It does look good but the A.I. in it is unimpressive based on this video. Saw a part with enemies just standing there doing nothing with the character's back to them even though they were right next to her.
Damn ive played this game so many times and ive never done close combat this well. Im usually ataying up in the sky and far away. Than doing the mind control thing.

The game is really good, but it lags a bit for some reason even on XBOX 1X. But it's all bearable. Amazing game, reminds me of Quantum Break.
