Man skating the "What The P Rods" like a G. Love it. #SkateYourDunks
Haha hell yeah mane.
Didn’t like those dunks at first but they look dope on foot
2 of the best cupsole shoes i know that fit my wide feet are the eS Accel OG and Etnies Marana (reg and michelin)
Ohhhhhh. Yeah the Marana is awesome.
Hell yeah actual skate shoes!
Etnies makes the best shoes bruh🔥🔥🔥
I kinda hated the etnies marana. I'm used to vans. And i just didn't have enough boardfeel and the sides felt too hard/bouncy/slippery to me
@@bohakkennes1288 i mean, u can try the marana vulcs, or even the joslin vulcs. For me the impact protection of the cupsole is superb. Theres alot of boardfeel to me though, vans just hurt my foot with how thin it is. But like different shoes for different skaters so if u skate good with vans then thats great dude😤🤝
Ayo ngl I like this format of Chris doing the video while in a skate session but i also like when Chris is in his studio
this format would be good if you could somehow fix the audio, most of the video echoed too much
Yeah I need to mess with that. It pissed me off.
great vid. you always lay out all the options and possibilities and reasons.
Hey Christian I love this style of video. Keep it up!
Perfect video topic! Thanks!
Yeah I like this format where you get a trick as you talk through the video topic. Looks like it saves time doing both things at once and you get a session in too which is cool
I just started skating again and went with the Maranas. I used to skate Vans Caballero 6's way back in the day though. I loved those shoes.
Cool format! Nice to mix things up
Great video, the new format is really good
I’ll keep at it 👊
I like this format, I’d like to see your next review like this as well. Just for experimenting you know? But so far I like it.
This type of style reminds me of John hill with the video format. And I’m a good way. Keep it up!!!!
dude i love this format of vids
Love this format!
I’ll keep making em.
Finding your channel is the best thing to happen to me in a while
This constantly interrupted style of video is not my cup of tea, but i could get used to it
i love the format pls continue it
I will 👊
I like this format of video
Thank you you help me out a lot and make my day better
Same
Nice man! 👊🥳
Love your videos
My favorite video from you in a while. How ur talking but also trying to film a line a true skateboarder
Lol. Thanks man. 👊
I like this video format.
New balances are pretty good !!
Big fan of them 👍
Same, great for a wider foot. I can't wear Nikes or Adidas at all.
fantastic vid man, also i love skatin in halfcabs and af1s. sadly the ankle machine broke so i can’t really do much of any saktin 😢
I like the format
like the fashion statement on ur finger 🔥
As someone who has some trouble finding skate shoes to wear, this has been pretty helpful. I wear a size 13, and my feet are wide. So, sometimes I had to order my shoes online. I could get lucky finding a pair in my size at an actual shop, but usually the biggest size they carry is 12. Also, I get so disappointed when I couldn't wear shoes from certain brands because of how narrow they are. For example, I always wanted a pair of Nike Blazers, but I heard they are narrow, which bummed me out. The big & wide foot struggle is real! Lol.
This is a great video. Also, any recommendations are more than welcome. Thanks!
I've been skating Emerica Reynolds 3 (cupsole, not vulc) for the last 2 years as I bought like 5 pairs on sale when they discontinued them.
Last week I bought eS Swift 1.5 and they also feel amazing. Just as Reynolds 3 the fit is true to size in lenghts but a bit loose on the width, but it's completly fine with a thicker sock.
Very nice video, thanks.
So much waiting for this
The review will be soon.
this is a cool format
This format is cool
This format is great
Sweet. I’ll do more.
Nice format
I have wide flat feet and the vans Kyle walkers just work for me I dunno why I know some people don’t like them, I’m really interested in definitely trying the tyshawns and the Nb 306s next.
First off props.. I'm 18 years old, just started skating and ive found its such a hobby of mine after years of having no no hobby other than smoking and playing video games. The probable problem is I'm 6'0 with a size 15 shoe... lmao. However seeing someone with content like this is very inspiring, you make great context toward the audience with the message you intend to get across. I know in a year my progress will be much better, and I hope to see the same with you guys as i follow
Cheetos, homie. Great format and skating!
You easily got the best dunks, cheers man!
Love the content bro! Any chance you could do a review on a few more Straye shoes for us budget skaters? Been curious about the Gower, Ventura, and Logan! Keep up the rad vids
Yeah I will try some.
I like this format
I’ll keep at it.
Enjoy watching u skate
It took me a long time to find a shoe that worked for me. The Tyshawn has a narrow heel and open toe box and it works best for me. I have bought the tyshawn low but I haven't skated it yet.
I can skate Vans Skate Highs but their standard low vans just don't fit my foot well. I do want to try the new Half Cab's.
cheetos, cool format. Excited for the WTP Review.
I love your vids bro
Thanks G
bro hope u feelin better man ❤️🙏
I'm a size US10.5 and I am flat footed also a wide Greek foot too so for skate shoes I normally bought one size bigger US11/US11.5 and slap in FP's gamechanger elite insoles and just use a thicker socks like carhartt's because it somehow feels one with me and it handles like a dream. It's perfect for me.
I like the format. But maybe get a lapel mic for better audio.
I'm more of an "infographic" type of person so an infographic of which brand is wide and which one is narrow side by side would really help.
I find vans shoes to be narrow as the "knuckes" of my feet are wide and they always end up ripping at the side so i always look for shoes that has stitching rather than vulcanized outsoles as much as i would like to wear vans.
Bro you should review the Adidas rivalry’s or forums bro love tha content
I’ve been trying as many shoes as I could try when I started skating a year ago! the shoes I found were the best for me was a kalis Vulc mids from dc with and insoles from straye shoes and I have a wide foot. I’ve tried vans and my feet hurt the next day unless I only went for a two hour session.
Nice dude. Yo did it right. Lol
format reminds me of john hill! in a good way, Keep doing it!
Ah. Hm. Maybe I can make it a little different.
@@christianflores for sure bro, make it ya own! been here since the early review days on ride channel, nice to see you still doing ya thing! All love.
Etnies Verano have been my go-to for years now.
I was literally thinking about this yesterday. I bought 2 pairs of Cariumas, one half size down from my usual and both were way too big, so I ordered a full size down and found that one was very tight on the sides, but fit length wise, and the other were perfect on the width, but a bit long. I had the Westgate 508s previous, which fit great, but the shoe lace were in a poor spot for me and I ripped a pair almost every weekend. Unfortunately live in Canada, so I can't buy the laces. I would be interested to see a Westgate 508 review though.
Cheetos, Imma but the shoelaces since I still have a lot. Also I like the format, just that the audio is a bit funky.
I didn’t know vans were considered wide, mine seem very long compared to every other size 12 I’ve had. But I feel like if I got an 11 they’d be too narrow. I have the Sk8 hi pro bmx
Yo Christian! Can you do 101 kickflips in uggs?
Lol. Okay.
haley isaak did that
I like the tyshawn skate the 3 pair of them at the Moment
I like the format, and it's summer so outdoors is best,,
When are you designing your own signature shoe ??? 👞
Pshhhhh I hope at some point.
nice, thanks
his vids are always so helpful
This format was awesome
Thanks mane.
You should review the es EOS shoes because I’ve been skating them for about three weeks and they have not ripped yet, it’s just now barely starting to tear on the “ toe cap “.
I want to skate the janoski slip ons but a wider shoe. I would also want to skate some DCsc (preferably the kalis lite) :///
Hey Christian, can you do the review/test of the Globe Encore 2
Plss I really need to know how much they last
this location looks magical
It’s the coolest school in San Diego. UCSD. It’s got a million skate spots.
I definitely like this type of video better. Maybe try to get a better mic cover for less wind sound.
My favourite shoes to skate in is definitely sandals
Cheetos and im buying shoelaces
Justin has returned
Lol hahah. Yeah G 🥳
You should review some Jordan 4 or 5s I see lots of people skating them and I want your opinion on how they feel
don't skate those they have zero board feel due to the air unit in the heel, they're also very stiff but they probably last long
@@wacamac1006 thanks for the advise man but I don’t plan on spending more than 100 on skate shoes
@@andominer6374 yeah exactly they're not even good for skating anyways
@@wacamac1006 that's absolute bullshit. They don't have zero board feel because of the air unit, they have zero board feel because the outsole is too thick and not flexible.
Hey Christian, probably you liked a lot the Adidas Tyshawn so you should try the Tyshawn Low. It would be super interesting for you to compare both models too
Yeah I want tooo.
Nuh uh
Can you do a skate review with Sb dunk prod ? 🔥 🔥
ion know if you'll see this but what about shoes with wider toe boxes? I feel like I can fit in most converse, vans, straye, fallen, and based on how they fit I feel like the straye/vans were the best I've tried but since my toes are a bit wider than my the rest of my foot. FP footwear shoes are great and they feel great but they're wider in general so they're a bit loose on my feet
Good Topic and skating the SB Dunk WTP is awesome!❤🔥🤟✌🙌🤘👌👍😎🛹
For me having wide feet Vans( Pros, Kyle Walker Pro, Rowan Pro )10.5 fits just right same with the SB Dunks but NIKE regular Dunks , J1s and AF1s a size 10 is just right.
Do the tyshawn low review
can you review Asics Skateboarding Shoe , name of model Gel Flexkee Pro Slip on 🙏🥰
video 53 asking for a review of the gilbert crockett vans
Can you review etnies windrow vulc shoes?
Which shoe is wider, New Balance 1010 or Adidas Tyshawn? I'm worried about the toebox too cause I don't want my toes cramped.
Toe box is bigger on the tyshawn
@@christianflores Really? I can't even wear the Tyshawns, but New Balance are always wide enough for me.
Yo Christian, please cut the new balance 1010 and the vans kyle walker in half. I am really curious to see what’s inside them.
1010 okay I’ll try and get to it.
This dude and Paul might be the only people really skating the what the prods
i dont know if its just me but shoes where your foot is dancing around inside is the worst feeling and it usually happens with my vans shoes and i dont buy vans any more
Jordans pls
What shoe would you recommend for a feel similar to the Dunk? I used to skate them when they were more readily available way back when and would like something similar now that I'm getting back into skating.
The XL slim is pretty close. But definitely not the same. I have a bunch of fake dunks that I got but I have not skated them yet. I will make a video about them later and if they feel the same as real ones.
@@christianflores 👆🏼I would really love for this video to be made. Wear testing more replicas… I have my eye on some since they seem more attainable these days. I had a pair of sea crystal Ishod Wair low dunks back in 2016 when Sb dunks were more readily available. I liked them.
Lynx.
#1
I have high arches and cant skate nikes or slip ons. My shoes have to be snug so my foot doesnt slip around and my flicks feel like an extension of my toes.
What do you skate. I have narrow feet and high arches too and am prone to injuries
I didn’t realize Vito also filmed
lol I like how the hair looks when its tied it looks good tho :3
nah
Cheetos. And i actually did buy 2 sets of laces! Have yet to lace em up
Any good shoes recommendations for wide feet? I currently love the Kyle walkers 1, haven’t tried the 2 yet tho
i have wide feet. I am currently using Etnies Joslin 1. They are cupsole shoes. They felt little narrow for the first one or two weeks. I mean it was like they pressure onto the side of my feet. But after nearly two weeks they loosen up the sides. I like the shoes. Sole of the Joslin's and Marana's are really supportive and comfortable. I also used classic Maranas back then, three pairs. These were good too.
@@cahideren thanks bro I’ll try them
Converse CONS CTAS Pro, I have dummy wide feet and since they run a half size large, go TTS (True to size). They Might feel a little tight but they break in super fast and are pretty comfortable to walk in and stuff. For skating, they have a good flick and are comfortable on flat ground. The insoles are fine, the outsole is a bit thin, and very flexible. You will might need after market insoles if you like to jump down things. The suede is durable and will probably last longer than the outsole. So far they a good pair of shoes and you might want to check them out. :)
I've tried 12 over the last year. Vans are wider apart from the AVE pro imo. ES Accel slim are the WORST skate shoes I've had. Adidas are the most comfy by far. Still need to try Dunks buy they are always snapped up buy hypebeasts and re sellers here in Australia
Dunks are so good
Check DC Manteca if you want to try drunks
Es Accel OG, DC Lynx OG, and Globe CT-IVs
Pretty much fat shoes for me
What type and brand of insert insoles do you wear. What do you suggest
Either jellin insoles or footprint pencils
Insoles***
A cupsole isnt a cupsole because it holds the back of your foot. A cupsole is a sole that cups around the entire footbed of your upper materials of the shoe.
“It’s not the shoe that makes you a good skater, it’s the skater himself ”
How much room should be left at the toe?
No more then half an inch in my opinion
Respect for skating the What the Prods #SkateYourDunks
Yeahhhhh 👊
Cheetos, and I’m buying shoelaces cause I still have a lot. Ok buyyyeeeee
👍👍👍👍👍👍
cheetos and im buying shoe laces cause you still have them online
Cheetos, Imma but the shoelaces since I still have a lot
I'm not a big fan of this format, it seemed like you couldn't focus on either the skating nor the video subject as much. but it think i would like to see you talking about the subject on the spot you were skating, just not interrupting yourself from the subject. maybe do the entire skate session and afterwards record the video in one go, so you have both the skate clips and the discussion of the video. but i think doing both at the same time doesn't land well.
