I don’t know why people don’t speak about this more, but if you put super glue on all of the stitches around your wear areas, not enough to like make a bunch squeeze out but just enough to make the stitches glue to the rest of the materials. This will make it so when your stitches blow out the rest of the inside stitching will still be connected to the other materials in your shoes so your shoes wont pack out and get holes as easy
As someone who has some trouble finding skate shoes to wear, this has been pretty helpful. I wear a size 13, and my feet are wide. So, sometimes I had to order my shoes online. I could get lucky finding a pair in my size at an actual shop, but usually the biggest size they carry is 12. Also, I get so disappointed when I couldn't wear shoes from certain brands because of how narrow they are. For example, I always wanted a pair of Nike Blazers, but I heard they are narrow, which bummed me out. The big & wide foot struggle is real! Lol. This is a great video. Also, any recommendations are more than welcome. Thanks!
They're are some exceptions to that rule tho. I've noticed Van's has some pro canvas shoes that hold up pretty well. Though suede is always the better option
I can’t do Vulc shoes, I’ve skated some and I can make it work, but I just don’t feel as confident or comfortable, I find a lot of my flick comes from the upper toe cap area more so than the outsole, and most Vulc shoes are missing that cause they are so low profile and I just can’t get comfortable, I like a solid cupsole, my favorites right now are Fallen Chris Cole Troopers and Nyjah II
I found DC's Court Graffik is a good shoe for me, as it offers good protection & comfort at a decent price. I like the DC Kalis Vulc as well, but it is a better walking shoe than a skate shoe in my opinion.
I would highly recommend buying fake or replica Nike sb dunks. I get mine for like $40 each and when ur skating Travis Scott dunks you get so much attention.

I’m not gonna lie I haven’t skated in 3 years and I made it my goal to get back into it but searching for shoes was hard for me. I’m a size 13 and the shoes that I want don’t have my size and the shoes out there fucking hurts. I finally found some vans but I’m struggling to break them in

And without missing a beat I replied, "Oh, because he's named after a skate shoe." Then her mouth drops to the floor and upon picking it up, she says, "What the hell? Are you kidding me? I thought it was Hawaiian.?!".. I think I might've said "Well, you never asked." Or something similar to that, but yeah.... True story.... theres all the single shoes that are the ones worn on the back foot. usually only the front foot gets destroyed. would be a thing if the back foot shoes of other footed skaters could be matched to make a complete pair. like, a $100 new pair of shoes can be ruined in 3 weeks in bad cases...
